What are some astrological traits of GOOD leaders? What are signs someone can step into a leadership role and really help that group improve? Leaders can be presidents, ceos, pastors, yourh group leaders, coaches, motorcyle gang leaders Im not looking for aspects of someone who just does the job but someone who people rally around and that person actually improves the program or group they are with.

My sister is natural born leader. She has a huge stellium in her first and second house which are ruled respectively by capricorn and aquaurius. This stellium consist of all the other planets but pluto and jupiter and also her north node is within this stellium. In addition her pluto is conjunct MC in sciorpio, a very tight 0,01 orb!Her exact time of birth is known. She has no squares or oppositions in her chart. Part of the stellium is sextiling pluto and trining jupiter. I think that leading is her destiny. I do not know any other person who would have so overpowering chart. She has shown a leading ability even when she was a child. She is a very kind and helpfuul person but also very dominating and sort of forces others to follow her rules. She ahs enormous will-power and she wants to be in charge and usually she will have her way and others are doing what she told them to do. IP: Logged |

I've got uranus, saturn and neptune in my second house and they are all in Capricorn. They were also all retrograde when I was born. Not too sure what that tells you, but I usually take the lead in my friendships. Older people also trust me to get things done, I like having plans and knowing what I am doing. People can always rely on me to start a project, own it and get jobs done. Although, that may be Mars in Aries? Or Moon in Aries. My true node is in my 3rd house and is in Aquarius but is literally on the cusp/line of my second house.------------------ When in doubt, ask questions. ❤ Sun: ♊, Asc: ♏, Moon: ♈, Venus: ♉, Mercury: ♊, Jupiter: ♋ IP: Logged |

Well leaders would be the "power" signs: Aries, Leo, Scorpio, Capricorn mainly, since they tend to go for power more each for their own reasons. But a leader of what? A business? A cult? A movement? A small group of friends? I wouldn't say being the dominant one in any way means one is a good leader. That's not leading, its falling into the silly trap of power over others that ego revels in. True leadership is humble, caring, compassionate, decisive yet thoughtful, with consideration for all involved. Its pointless to try and stereotype these attributes to a certain sign as there is free will on this planet. But what would matter is if the individual is playing out the evolved or unevolved versions of his/her major aspects and signs. True power comes from within, having power over oneself is far more important and, well, powerful, than power over others. Those that value the love of power over the power of love are not leaders and have no strong base with which to lead from. IP: Logged |

Gemini aren't bad in my experience. They love people and don't in general have big egos and are enthusiastic in an infectious way. In fact they often don't appear to be leaders as they'll let others come forward and take over relatively but still are making it happen.Hmm suppose in a battle situation wouldn't necessarily want them to lead but maybe in a war IP: Logged |

I love this part. Some think they can control power. But nah, most often power sucks them in, chews them up and spits them out. IP: Logged |

I have a grand trine w/ Aries Sun, Mars Leo, Jupiter Sagittarius. Also my Sun trine Pluto. Jup in 4th, Sun in 8th, Mars in 12th.I really have a problem with being gregarious at the cost of others because I have different values. My pride is in helping others when I can. I lead only when I am asked or needed to because I prefer nurturing others to also lead IP: Logged |

You can't be a leader if no one acknowledges you or responds to you, so it would probably be mass appeal aspects on a smaller scale, the same aspects that give charisma and magnetism. Signs don't determine leadership, not like planets, aspects and houses do. Any sign can be a leader for good or bad.People who give off leadership, have a different aura than other people, you can feel, see, or hear it in their being. They tend to be intense people for starters. You can see leadership in very young children, so this is something the soul comes with. IMO strong leadership skills can't be learned, either you have them or you don't. IP: Logged |

For me, Leadership is about responsibility. Sagittarius is the worst at this, if it smells like a burden they'll look for somebody to unload it on.I recently observed a Scorpio implode under the pressures of leadership. He loved the authority, whispering in power's ear, and telling people what to do, even meddling in other departments. When he got tripe for work his underlings didn't do - oh, oh - he took it personal. Delegate!! Even I as a Gemini know this. quote: You can see leadership in very young children, so this is something the soul comes with. Charisma and magnetism might be impossible to learn - people either like you or they don't. Leadership skills, however, can be learned. Self Promotion!! I have Sun conj MC, as well as Saturn loosely conjunct Asc, yet no one has mentioned these aspects thus far. It's worth noting that during my pMoon in Capricorn I had three different offers at three different jobs to become; Team Lead x2, Supervisor. IP: Logged |

A lot of good replies here. I'll add that many military leaders have had Scorpio Sun and Capricorn moon. Some both, some one. Many have some kind of charisma whether it is speech making or likability. I do agree a strong 7th house helps a lot with leadership. I have these aspects and I'm gunning for the admiral position 20 years down the road IP: Logged |

I think Cappie personality (asc, moon, sun) would help, with the structure Scorpio asc or mars I think would help with the drive and the strong presence people look forOf course houses and aspects are going to conflict that I have jupiter in the 7th house. Its conjunct moon in the 8th. Rahu also sits in my 7th, but at the opposite end of the house.

good luck. id consider myself a pretty good leader as well. aries sun in the 7th house. from my experience, leo tends to make more of a completely devout follower than leader. capricorn is a great advisor.
