The poster that said "synastry" got it right. I have had the most extreme crushes (either way) when some of these planets -sun, moon, venus, uranus- literally detonated the opposite sex chart's aspects. Fact learned after-the-fact. There is nothing to envy. Just a long list of broken hearts and failed relationships, both ways. Others with similar charts may feel my frustation. I grew up with 2 loving parents that were completely committed to each other till death. My role models that I could never match.

It gets better over the years as maturity kicks in. My last marriage was my longest relationship lasting for about 7 years.

However, for magnetism and being irresistible, I would say it is more like Pluto, Uranus, and Neptune are in the mix somewhere. Moon too.

Venus in aspect with pluto or mars.

Venus in fiery signs because it gives the person a warm charisma, generous and happy go luckky personality.

I have a warm Aries Venus in 8th conj Jupiter.

Aspecting Neptune, Mc, Pluto, n.node, Saturnus.
Venus ruler in 10th house.

Mars aspecting Asc... etc etc

With all the other stuff going on in my chart, I have a bitter-sweet aura and a plutonic but at the same time warm venus thanks to jupiter and Aries. I can be very charismatic and loveable and funny, if I decide to let my Venus come through and shine. I'm very happy about my Venus actually

The perfect example would be Mariah Carey. She has that "banging body," pretty face, lovely locks, and super talented. Even if she has gained weight, she is proportioned well.

Lots of great singers are Aries. Aretha Franklin, Celine Dion, Lady Gaga, Susan Boyle.

Aries are usually not known just for their looks, but people still express their attraction. For example Lady Gaga.

I found out Seth Rogan is an Aries. I once read in cosmopolitan that there is an expression bros would use called "Getting Roganed" which apparently means, when a guy that is less good looking than you gets the girl you want. "Oh!! You just got Rogained bro!" Never in my life have I heard guys talk this way btw.

And then poor Emma Watson got crap for being Belle in Beauty and the Beast and "not being pretty enough to be Belle" I'm not even an Emma Watson fan. But it's so messed up, I felt so bad for her! But it's how the world has always been. But I'm sure most of you don't need me to tell you that she is an Aries. She is loved and adored for her talent, intelligence, her speeches. Though yes there are lots of people who have crushes on her.

Included in this mayhem are: sun aquarius opposite Uranus (1 degree) and pluto in the 7th. For the books that say uranus/venus contacts may make the person promiscous... I have never been. That depends on so many other things like personal background, parents, education. I have never had one-nighters in spite of lots of opportunities. And while they lasted, my relationships were committed... for about 1 year lol. Then, the thrill of a new romance was unbearable.

Something king of weird.
I used to have what you would call perfect body (now I am fat), I also have beautiful skin, face, lips (Cancer Sun and ASC) the only thing I don't like and is objectively ugly are my eyes.. My eyes have the most boring shape and color (a dark mix of all the colors but mainly grey and brown). Until today i may have heard more than a thousand compliments about my eyes.. "Your body and face are perfect but your eyes are something else"
I have heard so many dramatic comments about my eyes not only from men but from women of all ages (like 15-80 yo).
I wish I could see my eyes like them because I would trade so many things appearance wise just to have a pair of cat/fox like, light blue/grey eyes! My mother often freaks out because she feels like my eyes change color from grey-ish to blue.. others tell me my eyes are green and others grey.
I go to the mirror and they are still that poopy grey color. I am wobdering where the hell they see the green/grey/blue colors ib my eyes. I feel like I am crazy or smth.
Now I am saying all these because I have observed that the eyes are our Moon sign and aspects. I have Pisces Moon so I think that is why the color seems to change confuse both me and others.
I would fall in the category "really beautiful" appearance wise but honestly if it wasn't for Pluto I would be the standard cute innocent Cancer ASC with watery Pisces eyes which is far from being magnetic/appealing/etc..

Where is your Moon and ASC?
And what aspects do they make?
My natal Moobn receives a trine from Sun (5 orbs) just that.
I have Iris in Pisces too like Moon but they are 14 orbs apart so they make no aspect.
The only other aspects Iris makes are:

Sextile to Neptune (3 orbs)
Trine ASC (3 orbs)
Trine Pluto (1 orb)

Pluto is not overrated. But its energy is not a happy and fluffy one, so some people would prefer a lighter energy over pluto. Like leo, or aries or libra etc. But thats an other conversation.

Because Pluto and the scorpios psyche is very
fascinating to most people. And like it or not 8th house is representing sex, death and sexual energies and the occult, so thats that. The second house is not tjat interesting for many.

Is gemin or mercury as interesting as Pluto? Please you can’t even compare a happy go lucky venus like gemini or leo, with scorpio.

Because everyone just wants to be cool.

They think that by touting their Scorpio/Pluto/whatever placements it makes them part of this elite club where they are the most powerful beings out there and everyone else are mere peasants.

The reality is everyone is attracted to something different, otherwise there'd be a whole lot of single people running around with Pluto-less charts.

Venusian-heavy folks tend to be sweet and charming, Martian-heavy very active and engaging, Mercurial-heavy very talkative and friendly...

The irony in my opinion is the people with the most Pluto-heavy charts tend to be the most miserable and with the lowest relationship success rates, because the same energy that "lures people in" tends to ultimately push them away, either because the other person decides to leave or the native has too many of their own issues.

That's a bit harsh though. It feels like you are angry with the whole Pluto thing.
Most people are talking about Pluto aspects here, there is a reason for that, the op asks about what makes someone irresistible not active/sweet/talkative/friendly.
Not all people like the same things, not all have the same taste, it will always depend on the synastry aspects but when it comes to Scorpio/Pluto people the majority of people (I don't mean just here, but in reality too) find them to be moving magnets.

All planets in hard aspects can cause problems. I find Neptune/Uranus/Nodes/Saturn in 7th H or in aspects with Venus to be the most problematic and difficult to handle (if we can somewhat handle them that is) when it comes to love.. I have all those..
Pluto to me seems to be far less worse than those. So I definately not agree with you about it being that problematic compared to other planets.

You are talking about Martian people but Mars is a weaker, more swallow, powerless, emotionless, uncontrolled and immature version of Pluto.

Mars aspects are the least appealing with the exception of Venus-Mars aspects and Pluto-Mars.

I am not trying to say that my opinion is the right one or that Mars/Aries people seem to be the least appealing because I just don't like them myself. I am sharing my observations (although I have just basic astrology knowledge but I've looked at many charts these last years trying to understand as much as possible by comparing charts and personality traits). I met people who are not really liked by anyone and they seem to have problems with all their relationships (meaning with relatives, friendships, lovers, bussiness partners etc..) I know people like that, honestly they have either problematic Mars aspects (especially Moons-Mars) or problematic Mercury.. And I also find them to have lack of aspects with external planets.

Venus in 1st, Libra ASC and Virgo ASCs seem to be appearance wise the most beautiful creatures, especially when combined with Moon in Taurus/Gemini/Libra/Virgo.
The thing with these though is that their beauty is swallow (appearance), being irresistible is more dynamic and deep.
I know so many beautiful people who go unoticed or are considered just eye candy. And others who are even ugly objectively but they are are so charming/alluring/seductive to the majority of people.

I know it doesn't sound right/nice when someone talks about himself like I did above.
It indeed sounds very arrogant, if only you knew though how many dramatic situations I've been because of that Pluto thing though.

Once a girl who was like she was Venus in a human form came with tears in her eyes to me asking what I am doing to them.. (meaning men) she said she didn't care about others but she begged to stop doing whatever I was doing to the man she was in love with. When she showed me that man I was in such a shock, I had never ever seen him in my life.. It turned out that he was at the university as me but different classes.
I said that example because we were 22yo.
When I was in school I thought that boys liked me so much just because I looked like a woman especially body wise since I was 12yo.
So I didn't really analysed it, I thought that sexy vibe was because of my body which was like a woman's body when other girls my age seemed like kids. I had so many friends of mine suddenly completely disappearing after they found a boyfriend.. Afterwards I learned that they didn't want their boyfriends to look at me because they knew that they would fall for me. Two of those came and confessed it themselves telling me they knew it wasn't my fault and that they felt really bad for doing that to me but they couldn't help it..

I was always far from being sluty or easy..
I am not a person to "innocently" or "accidentally" touch others. I was always serious and people tend to sense it..
But this whole thing made me afraid to laugh with men ( I mean literally just laugh), I am afraid to look at them simply because they are in front of me or talking to me.
I am being silly and they find me sexy
I am being stupid and they find me sexy
I am being childish and they find me sexy
I have a cute Cancer face with innocent puppy kind of Piscean eyes but they somehow sense something dark deep and sexy.

Even my style when it comes to clothes is completely Uranus in Capricorn. I am far from being sexy after my teen years.
Women tend to think that I am a sinister witch who does something to men secretely.

I can only feel free to be myself with the one I like aso I am not afraid to exist around him and look at him and smile at him and casually touch him. Otherwise I try to be invisible as much as possible although I fail to.

I know I sound like a dramatic b*tch trying to make herself looking like she is a special human being on this earth but I can not explain you in a better way how crazy powerful this Pluto thing is and how dramatic reactions I get from people because of that. It can only be Pluto in 5th H square Venus-Mars-Jupiter conjunction. I don't have a single planet or ASC in Scorpio except of Pluto.
Pluto trines with my Mercury is 8 orbs wode which I don't know if it is even considered and aspect. And then it trines AsC (3 orbs wide) I don't think those aspects play a role though..
The only thing that can be responsible for this would be Lilith in 7th H conjunct North Node?? I don't know though if it is that important.
