lol that's your Gemini Moon...she probably goes on and on and on and you're just like yeah, cool, uh-huh, no, I didn't know that, she did?, wow....hahaha. my mother is the same except but she has the Leo dramatics. If my friend calls me while I'm on the phone with her, she will say "I gave birth to you for hours, offered you life, and she calls you to talk about Orphan Black...nothing of substance" meanwhile, we are chatting about whether or not she should join the bowling league this year. I have 12th house moon conjunct sun in aquarius.Neither one of my parents were absent, they were always there ready to help me trough whichever I needed and still are. They are a bit protective but not in an overbearing way, and I trust them completely. Maybe it's the sun conjunct moon though, that means my parents have an important influence in my life.My parents get along very well. Actually my moon is square jupiter and my mother is a teacher, and my moon is in 12th house aquarius and my mother's sun/mars/saturn is in 12th house aquarius. Her father died when she was young but it is just not the case for me. sorry if this is irrelevant for this thread...IP: Logged |

Ive seen 12th house moon manifest a number of ways for individuals, most of them seemed to have an almost karmic bond with their mothers where they felt like they had to take care of them as they got older, but they were not exactly absent. With some of these descriptions it sounds more like what I would expect from a 1st house moon, which always has me wonder about accuracy of birth time details. Although I only know a couple people with the placemnt IP: Logged |

This is difficult to answer clearly, partly because the 12th house is the most inclusive in terms of house meanings, partly because you've asked about comparisons that cannot be made without more information from the chart. Moon in water sign is not necessarily out of place in the 12th house. The 12th house represents the subconscious, karma, service as defined by society. The Moon relates very much to the subconscious and the sensitivity to others' needs (as well as your own). Planets above the horizon, particularly the Moon in your example, shows placement of one's subjective, feeling, feminine principle more objectively into the world's definitions and circumstances, rather in those of one's own background and private world as would be if the Moon were in say, the 4th or 5th houses. In other words, it allows/urges a more 'open' broader collection of influence at the emotional level. The water signs handle it with subjective, feeling or intuitive negotiation of a number of factors that aren't logically explained. Fire handles it more by doing, the setting up of a mission or metaphysics to which one answers; air by exchange of ideas; earth by practically defined objectives and/or relationship to the subconscious through the body. They all potentially handle it differently in just the ways these elements are known to do, but the deciding factor in the end is Free Will. ------------------ Expert rectification, professional astrology consults http://kannonmcafee.wordpress.com/ Complete desriptions of all Rising Signs: https://kannonmcafee.wordpress.com/rising-signs-2/ IP: Logged | |
