So ... Astrodata used to list her ASC as Leo. Now it lists her ASC as capricorn ... and I kinda doubt it because she seems so Leo to me and I know the Cap rising this generation with Uranus-Neptune-Saturn on their Asc and they are definitely not like that ... I agree with the Leo. Not to mention it puts ALL those planets in her 5th. She's got spunk for sure though I am not a fan. ------------------

i renounce my leo faith and say shes a cap asc. I looked at more than 1 picture and she reminds me of all the cap ascendants ive seen. Strong face structure that always looks kinda serious.oh i dont know honestly. I'm only good at spotting pisces and taurus rising people IP: Logged |

We don't have to take guesses based on appearance only, although that favors fire/Leo.From her wikipedia page... At the age of nine, Swift became interested in musical theatre. She performed in many Berks Youth Theatre Academy productions and traveled regularly to Broadway for vocal and acting lessons.[21][22] Swift then turned her attention to country music; Shania Twain's songs made her "want to just run around the block four times and daydream about everything." Keep in mind that she is also an actress. Music + acting = 5th house or very strong Leo/drama factors. To me this speaks far more of a fire Asc with potentially those planets in the 5th house. However, I don't follow her music and have not taken on her chart, so I don't have a definitive answer. I did see her several years ago on the Ellen show and she was breezy, talkative, immediately likeable, very much the extrovert with no hint of any Capricorn-like reserve or formality. ------------------

After doing some rectification work, I am convinced that the 15 Leo chart is virtually exactly correct. In 2011 she won 'Entertainer of the Year' at the ACM awards on April 3rd. Prog. Venus was closely square the MC of that chart and closely Contra-parallel its Asc. On Dec 10th of that year she was honored at the Nashville Symphony Ball and prog. Venus was again closely Contra-parallel the Asc of the 15 Leo chart. I used 9 events to arrive at this level of confidence for the 15 Leo chart, but it will only be truly validated if she marries and that date creates progressions that further confirm the chart. ------------------

That'd be due to her aqua venus.
Their tastes are sometimes too conservative/vintage or too modern/original, or maybe a mixture of both.

She has a Leo look.. but her presence is not at all Leonine.
And some of her songs are so ... I don't know... symbolic of a very weak version of femininity, like "I knew you were trouble"... "Poor little ol' me... with the big bad player who entered my life and wrecked everything. What am I ever gonna with myself now?" O_O

I kinda agree with this. Uranus and Sun would be very close to her Asc if it is Cap so the whole express yourself wouldn't be that surprising. In inyerviews she likes to drop names a lot ("my friend, Lena Dubham,.."), I don't see any Leo Asc takes themselves that seriously. Robbie Williams even wrote that he's a sc_um et al so it seems to me Leo Asc likes to mke fun if themselves. Considering how many songs she's written about her personal relationships, it sounds a lot more like first house stellium.

It's funny that both times are for 8 but one is am the other pm.
Yeah I'd say Sadge Sun ruling Asc in 5th, along with Merc h2 ruler there conj Neptune. Then moon conj Jup in 11th for major mass appeal. I'm not picking up on Pluto in the 10th for her but I don't know enough of her background to say if its in the 4th. And I can go along with NN Aqua 7th faster than I can with it being in the 2nd. Plus when it's in the 7th it puts the NN ruler Uranus in the 5th, I think that's much more her than Uranus sitting in the 12th. So yeah between these 2 I choose Leo. IP: Logged |

She doesn't have the body to be a show off, plus if she pushed the sexy image too far she'd alienate her fanbase and steal attention away form her music. It's not her style but not because she's a prude. Plus her peers in the music industry give her negative attention for dating around and making fun of her relationships. To me that sounds like Leo on display. I can't see the public knocking a cap rising for their choices.
