I think the Cap/Aquarius connection is interesting because they share a ruling planet (Saturn). The thing is, Capricorn can be cold as hell, and so can Aquarius, I guess, which makes me wonder where the warmth and connection is. I guess that's why I'm a Pisces moon. I can't survive on ideas alone.

One of my very best friends is a Cap moon. She has Venus in Pisces, and I have Venus in Virgo. We feed each other. But I still think she's cold, sometimes

Absolutely in a good way. Both types of Moons had things I liked and things I had to work with. Water moon receptiveness makes you feel warmth and fuzzy but if you're not ready it can drown you. Aquarius moon is beautifully understanding and I never fear judgement with these people but their need to be alone can leave you chilled.

I agree with you about the Cap - Aqua moon relationship as interesting. One of my favorite people have it. Both process their emotions with a cool exterior. I appreciated her ability to process my thoughts without judgement. She appreciated my ability to understand the aloofness of an Aqua moon shouldn't be read into so heavily. But there was emotional understanding/connection due to trined Water Suns which helped a lot in seeing past the exterior. I could write for days on this experience as the Cap Aqua dynamics were so interesting but this thread isn't about that.

As a sidenote - I once asked out a double Aqua girl with a Pisces rising... it was a trip. I was attracted to the Pisces rising thinking she would be like a Pisces moon. Big mistake. It was like biting into a piece of chocolate only to find out there was an ice cube inside :P I kid, I'm sorry Aquas, don't hurt me.

I agree.

In my case, my moon is sextile my Capricorn sun, also sextile my Taurus SN. So it's grounded.

And with my sun supporting my moon, I probably have less of a need for other people to support my moon.

^^ I should add, though-- sometimes I do FEEL clingy but don't express it. It's only been a problem if someone knows me well enough to decipher my vibes, and then there is simply no way around it.

I really friggin hate that.

Aww...that is very bittersweet, I sense your admiration and affection for this woman, Leorpio. She sounds lovely. I can understand what you mean about having intense attachments to Water people. I've always been this way myself, even with other Water-dominant people. My S.O. is Scorpio dominant and I am head over heels for him unlike anyone else I've been with. The idea of being separated from him after I go visit him [he lives in another country right now, he's trying to move here soon] makes me terrified and heartbroken. I feel like it has a lot to do with the fact that I am a Moon-Neptune person, it is one of the strongest aspects in my entire chart. Do you also have Neptune and/or Pluto contacts to your Moon?

Your story reminds me of when I met my best friend [we had known each other online for 3 years] in person for the first time. We spent an entire weekend together. Her Moon is in Scoprio, she is very Water-dominant [Sun in Cancer, Mercury in Cancer as well]. When she left, I was bawling as well. I have not seen her in over a year and it will probably be awhile. We live thousands and thousands of miles apart. I love her like a sister. It's very difficult but we manage. :')

I'm sure you will see your friend again. Just have faith and plan something again soon and it will work out.

Clinginess is in the eye of the beholder--or the arms of the clung to.
