Water moons, do you ever find it incredibly hard to leave the other water moon person, as in leaving their house and not being able to see them again for a while?

The girl I really like has cancer moon right on Sirius (which is more than enough of an indicator that we planned to meet this life) and I emotionally connect with her on such a deep level and I was balling my eyes out when I left to go back home tonight. She lives in las Vegas and I live near Los Angeles so it was pretty hard leaving after spending an entire weekend with her... She also told me she couldn't stop crying :/

That's very sweet Leorpio You're lucky to have found each other!
My relationship with Cancer and Pisces Moon is never an easy one, although I often get close to Scorpio Mooners. My Moon is Capricorn, so Scorpio is more similar.
In my opinion the best matches for Cancer and Pisces Mooners are people who likewise have a water Moon, or alternatively Taurus Moon.
All the other Moon signs are somewhat out of sync with them. They are extremely sensitive people and it takes a special person to truly understand them and to make them happy.

I'm a scorpio moon and i have 2 friends with scorpio suns with cancer moons and they both seem really deep. They are both the best people to vent to and talk to if you need that. They also seem really loyal, mostly if you know them on a more personal level. I used to have a friend with pisces moon and gemini sun, but he seemed more detached though he showed support and encouragement when you really needed it. i know you said dating, but i haven't experienced that yet so this is the only info i can provide. out of all the water moons i think cancer is the best though..they just give off this family type vibe. almost like they're a mother, father, brother or sister that i never had. just all around comfortable people to be around and They always make you feel welcomed. These are the kind of people I want to be friends with for a long time.

Yeah I agree with this. I was seeing this dude who had his moon conjunct mine in Cancer and we always used to feel like we needed to be around each other all the time. Thank god for our airy influence or else we would've been labeled the "clingiest" couple in school.

I'm Pisces Sun Pisces Moon and my man is Scorpio Sun Cancer Moon!

We are always connected in some way or another - we constantly exchange message 24/7. When he comes over, I have to cuddle next to him! My most favourite cozy place in the world When he leaves my place, I feel this big huge empty space in my heart But then when he gets home we continue messaging so I feel bit better and I wait to see him till he comes over on another day

Yes; that would happen with my ex who has moon in pisces conjuncting my moon in pisces.

With my husband since the start he wouldn't want me to leave home when I would stay over and throughout are entire relationship we are always together when I am not working and even worked together for a while; we are quite inseparable and moved in together pretty quickly; relatively early I was staying over with him more than at my own place. He has moon in cancer conjunct my draco sun in cancer and I have moon in pisces opposing his jupiter but although our moons are both in water signs they don't actually trine.

hahahahaha

Maybe this has to with age, sounds like she was probably very young....I think once in your 20s you don't make out as much bc you have moved on to other ways to show intimacy.. whether is by sex or talking or doing things together. Also as you grow older you are more secure and confident and need a more adequate amount of reassurance.

An aqua guy with moon in aries I dated I felt was pretty appropriate as far as affection. When in public we would have interesting conversations, gaze at each other and we did not make out or kiss in public but it was clear by the energy we generated around each other were were together; people would look at us.

In private after sex he always wanted to cuddle and did it just right and the right amount; he is the only guy I have truly enjoyed cuddling after sex actually; usually I feel trapped but he did it in a way that was very sweet, nice and comfortable.

That is a really cute story, Leorpio.

---

I'm a Pisces moon. I've never dated a Cancer moon, not that I know of.

With the Pisces moon guy I dated, I didn't give him enough of a chance. I didn't even realize there was any strong emotion on his side until I faded off (as Pisces moons do) and he became extremely agitated, which shocked me and WAS an attraction. I didn't know he really cared, before then.

I think it may take Pisces moons a while to figure each other out.

From what I've noticed, celebrity Pisces moon/Pisces moon couples tend to hang around each other for a long time, even while married to other people, and then finally tie the knot with each other: Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood (I love them); Kim Kardashian and Kanye West; Lisa Marie Presley and Michael Jackson.

Maybe that long friendship/courtship phase is needed to build up attraction?

---

I just looked up one guy that I dated for a few weeks when I first got to college, on the hunch that he was a Scorpio moon.

Yes

Scorpio moon...and again, I had no clue that he was that interested. I only know he was because after I moved on, he kept talking to me as if I meant something special to him, one year after the fact, three years after the fact. Many many girlfriends after the fact. The longer it went on, the more bewildered I was.

If I had KNOWN he felt like that, I probably would have stayed with him. I must be dense or something.

ETA:

Actually I think I was so willing to listen to men talk about their exes and anything they wanted to say, that a kind of transference may have taken place for them; but meanwhile I became convinced that they were hung up on their ex, not me.

Transference:

quote:
In a therapy context, transference refers to redirection of a patient's feelings for a significant person to the therapist.

So, in the case of the Scorpio moon I dated, seriously it was like all he did was mourn his ex with me. We bonded over how cool his ex had been.

My SO and I were like this and as time went on, we gradually became normal. It's still intense, but I tend to keep a lid on it as I can get too clingy and possessive

I feel like water-water couples are very intense. It can be very addictive and you two may feel like you don't need anything else but each other and the air you breathe.

I recall reading a book that described the compatibility between water Moons as "heavenly but also strongly debilitating".

The below quote made my bald head turn pink.

"two water moons must at some point realize that there are other people on earth and cherish those relationships too.

Often times, both of you create for yourself a cozy nest that shuts the "harsh" world out.But that is not the problem.

The problem comes when issues between you two surface(as no relationship is perfect). and the subsequent feelings therein will be that much more intense.

As there is no objective reference that you can use to draw on, you two can end up crushing the very delicate bond that you have through(ironically) the very same strong feelings that brought you two together"

My SO and I are always watching out for this. Constantly alert

I just told something similar to a woman with Scorpio moon, getting into a relationship with a Scorpio moon. I said something like, Watch out for so much depth you implode the relationship.

I'm a Scorpio Sun and Capricorn moon... this thread makes me uncomfortable.

I've only ever committed to one girl and that was when I was very young 14-21, and I expressed my Scorpio Sun traits mostly. She is a Pisces Sun Cancer Moon. The relationship died due to long distance though we made it work for a long time. Definitely crying moments when driving to the airport or amtrak. But that was very atypical of me and we were young and dramatic.

Definitely can't deal with a Cancer moon romantically. Her Moon was opposite mine and square my Mars. We had very intense fights followed by intense make ups.

She fricken got mad at me once cause I never got mad! And then when she ****** me off she'd get all hurt and I'd feel all guilty. Crazy Cancer moon. Sweet heart though. Had I understood synastry back then it all would of been much clearer. She has since been a serial monogamist since our parting and I think she's finally found the right lad. From the looks of him there has to be Scorpio placements, hopefully a Scorpio Moon. I haven't settled down since, read something to do with my Venus in the 6th, but I'm fine with that. I figure I'm just doing research on synastry everytime I have a fling or date someone briefly :P

Now, a good number of years later, I've settled in to the barren emotional wasteland of my (joking of course, kinda) Capricorn moon. I don't think I want to date a water moon. I like my Water Suns with an Earth Moon, particularly Virgo moons. Scorpio women with a Virgo moon and Scorpio Venus tend to pop in fairly often and I quite like that combination especially with an Air Mars! Sexy, emotional but logical. The Scorpio Venus clingyness tends to be a little tempered by the Air Mars.

But Water moons tend to be too emotional. I sometimes wonder if I would prefer the erratic, clingy, ocean of a Water Moon or the isolated, detached, but understanding humanitarian Aquarius Moon. Both types of women have driven me bonkers.

Not all water moons are clingy.

The complaint I've gotten more often is that I am too detached or impossible to read (8H moon.)

Very true. A Saturn aspect would probably have a similar effect

I knew an Aquarian man with a lot of Aqua placements and a 7th house Cancer moon. He was very clingy and I needed my space. My moon is also in Cancer, but, being an independent Aries takes on a different tune....

I have been in 2 water moon relationships, one of which is ongoing now. I have a Pisces moon.

My previous one was with a Taurus with a Scorpio moon. I have never felt so safe and loved as I did with him! We were incredibly affectionate and silly together. I felt he connected with me to the bone.

Now we did not work out and I don't wish that we had -- he did cheat on me twice (I didn't know until we'd already broken up) and there were other things wrong with us -- neither of us was even remotely mature enough. He was very effective at using his Scorpio moon to control me. But the moon connection felt incredibly soulful.

With my current relationship I am hesitant to define anything for sure since I'm still feeling this guy out, even after almost a year. He has a Cancer moon with an Aquarius sun (exactly conjunct my Aqua ascendant -- I'm a Leo, myself). This guy, like many Cancer moons, has been hurt by previous relationships, and they are all arrayed like precious jewels in his past.

I was coming out of a 7-year relationship when we met. So both of us have baggage. With our Chiron and NN contacts, along with IC/NN conjunction, I would say this relationship is here to ... do something exciting, give us both something we need. My sun is also square his NN ... anyway, it feels more karmic and fated than any of my other relationships. We've got a composite 8th house stellium in Scorpio ... there's only one way to go, and that's deeper.

Ha! Bonkers in a good way, I assume?

I think the Cap/Aquarius connection is interesting because they share a ruling planet (Saturn). The thing is, Capricorn can be cold as hell, and so can Aquarius, I guess, which makes me wonder where the warmth and connection is. I guess that's why I'm a Pisces moon. I can't survive on ideas alone.

One of my very best friends is a Cap moon. She has Venus in Pisces, and I have Venus in Virgo. We feed each other. But I still think she's cold, sometimes

Water suns have that sweet understanding emotional personality but depending on thier moon (I'm saying this for non water moon) they won't become trapped in and destroyed by an emotion.

Though I will admit. There is something psychic about being in the company of another water moon, even if they don't trine.

Absolutely correct! Water Suns carry that emotional understanding even without an emotional moon. I often imagine how much more reactive I'd be if I were a Scorpio Sun and a water moon rather than my cappy moon.
