going in right after i made a comment ? with "dislike" and "hated", then addressing the whole thread. You need to be more slick to get out of that. DF seems like you haven't either. Why not addressing your own behaviour first? The last time it was about you finding it ok to complain n nag, but when others do it's suddenly "Why r u all so sensitive". So....you don't need validation by continually derailing the thread by making your voice "heard"? I am quoting myself because you are acting really petty. It would be nice if we could keep the thread on track. Especially since you clearly subtexted me for bumping my post-not sure why that was necessary. For the record, I don't have a problem with how you feel about Caps, doesn't bother me. The video didn't bother me either. Just say how you feel and keep it moving. Faith was giving her opinion, not sure why you are so bothered by her making simple replies. Caps have also had some really rude threads made about them on here "Saturn risers being ugly," for example, so I don't blame them for being on the defensive a little. Back to the scheduled program....What I like about Caps...hmmm... They're work ethic is great. My sister-in-law is one the hardest working people I know. She'll work whatever she has to for her family. The dry humor is a hit or miss for me, I enjoy that amongst the "cold heart" act, they're able to have fun and laugh. I worked with 2 Capricorns and we had the most fun together. Lots and lots of laughter at the dumbest, simplest things. 2 of my favorite "DJs," I hate that term, are Caps. Few of my favorite singers are also Caps. Their loyalty to those they care about is awesome. IP: Logged |

Confident people tend to shrug off things - that don't fit their point of view. They have a strong character (a strong sense of self - it's what gives them confidence) - thus, they're not that affected by other opinions - even if they're aimed at their own - and might end a conversation with a line like: "whatever dude/if you say so." Resorting to insults and attack on other members starting from an opinion - it's contradictory to what it means to be confident, quite the opposite - it's what it means to be Insecure. Denotes a weak character - a weak Ego that's affected by other opinions - especially if/when their aimed in ones direction. I think you're confusing ego-centrism with confidence. One can be confident and ego-centric - that's true, but - one can also be insecure and ego-centric. And it's not the first time you react like this - or the second, or the third for that matter. You've found a way to get away with it - by following the examples of others - who got away with similar behavior for years now - as in "a Facebook type of friendship for interest (with the right people)" and ego strokes. Same goes for your SO. Well - you do protect each-other - even in wrong doings. Even partners in crimes. At least Venusian Moon - was true to herself to the end (the end being - a bad day). This is just one the things that keeps me away from LL this days. And not the arguments... but this disgusting manipulative behaviour - where one would resort to ego strokes and fake friendships with people in higher place - just so they can abuse other people from that place and get away with it. What can say - personally, I'd rather die than resort to ass kissing type of behaviour. Not a pretty image - even when it comes to others. Even more than that - when the gain those people hope to achieve - is a free pass on hurting others! For me that was the biggest disappointment about LL. I've witness it more often at job places - and it made sense there, but... i guess couldn't foresee this type of usage (a free pass on hurting others). Well, there's little that surprises me this days - so carry on. Do your thing - if that's what makes you feel better - if that's who you are. Sigh... === Back to the scheduled program.... My grandma is a Capricorn - and seeing this topic - made me wonder if i forgot her Birthday - if i'm remembering now in the final hour. Then i realized that her B'day is on 16 January and we're in 12 December. That's not just a month a way - but a new year away. LOL! I gotta tell you, one story I love to tell is about my best friend beating me very dramatically in a water fight that we had as children. I had been too aggressive with my water pistol I suppose (Caps can be this way), and she, Saint Pisces, asked me to stop. But I was all excited to "win"... So she invited me over to where the baby pool was sitting, where her little cousins swam, and I followed -- squirt squirt squirt --- and she just picked up the entire pool and dumped it on me.
