I believe we all have some sort of creativity within us.

Designing, writing, problem solving, graphics, sewing...
the list goes on and on.

Which planets, houses, and signs govern your creative expression?

Moon?
Mercury?
Mars?

If I'm totally honest, I'm a "Jack of all trades but a master of none" type. I haven't cultivated any skill enough to say that it is something I'm truly or exceptionally talented in. My 5th Moon in Gemini trining 1st Mars in Aqua is responsible for my love of dance and why I'm good at it.

Sun-Venus-Mercury conjunction responsible for my love of writing. Merucry square Pluto gives it the dark, intense flavor.

Drawing and singing...? IDEK maybe that same conjunction above.

I'm also pretty good at acting. When I play a role, I become entranced and I embody whatever character I'm trying to play. I usually play comedic roles. My friend tells me that I "become a whole other person".

I'm not great at anything. I'm just good... Which sucks. And I'm in pre-med so, I'm definitely not using these "talents".

I wonder where I get my creativity from. It's off the charts (pun intended).

I am a master of psychological analysis. I have Pluto sq mercury, sun, moon and Mercury as chart ruler, Uranus in 3H (trine Mercury-get flashes of intuitive thoughts and feelings from others) and mercury as ruler of 10H (love details in words and language).

I have Jupiter in 12th, which fuels and expands my imagination. Jupiter also trines my Sun, Mercury, Saturn, and Uranus, which (I think) infuses some creativity into those planets.

I also have Sun conjunct Mercury, which is maybe why I love writing. My Sun and Uranus sit on top of each other, which I guess makes me a bit unconventional.

I read once that having a 9th house Moon is good for writing, because it allows for one's emotional nature to take on a philosophical and almost visionary quality - one that's usual seen in poetry and prose writing. I have this placement, and my Moon is trine Neptune, which is why I believe I am an excellent poet. It is, by far, my most developed, precise and fantastic art.

I also enjoy painting and drawing, though I'm far from where I ever want to be, and I am dying to take art classes. I have an empty 5th house, ruled by Taurus; Venus is conjunct NN and Jupiter in Scorpio, and widely trine Saturn by about 10 degrees. But even with the wide trine, I feel Saturn's critical influence on my Venus in many ways, including the high standards I hold myself to when I paint, draw, write and sing. I have mastered the art of confessional poetry, but even mastery requires critiques and revisions. My painting and drawing skills are subpar compared to the abilities of others, but after Saturn's transit through Scorpio, I've learned NOT to be too hard on myself; my skills are subpar, to me, because I have not /worked/ hard enough.

So, a tl;dr version: Moon in the 9th, good for writing and speaking since it allows for higher, visionary thoughts. Moon-Neptune for sensitivity and creativity that is good for emotional art like poetry. Venus-Saturn for a deep desire to learn about the skill building that goes into creating artistic talent for oneself, building oneself from the ground up; 'natural talent' and leaving it at that doesn't cut it.

Super interesting. The jack of all trades/master of none is so Gemini Moon. The absorption in a character role is all Neptune and Pisces!

I'm definitely the typical Gemini rising--the "jack of all trades", or as my guitar/percussion teacher told me so. I'm not just big into the arts, but also sciences, social studies, some math, a few sports, and tech. But basically, I get my creativity from my Leo sun (as I've been told). I also have Pisces MC which makes me very creative. My MC ruler is in Capricorn, so that makes me able to put my ideas into life. My Venus in Virgo, although critical, gives me a talent in writing. I have it in the 3rd house conjunct my Mercury. I am really good with words and I used to write a lot of poetry. Now they come out as songs. Also, my 3rd house is ruled by Leo, which gives me a nice powerful mezzo soprano singing voice. I have Mars in Libra in the 5th house as well. Since it is the house of creativity, most of my martian energy is spent on that and other things ruled by the 5th house. Libra also rules my 5th house and is ruled by Venus, the planet of beauty and pleasure. I have Moon sextile Venus, and I find it that I create the most amazing works when I'm inspired or when I really feel my juices flowing. Like I said, I'm big into the arts. I sing, play instruments, act, draw, paint, write, dance and make some DIY crafts when I have the time.

Creativity? Hmmm.

Asc aspects to Sun
Moon aspects to Sun
MC aspects to Sun
planetary aspects to ruler of the 5th(square,opposition and conjunction).

My 5t house ruler is Mercury.

Venus trines Mercury
Mars squares Mercury
Saturn sextiles Mercury

I like writing.I think I have very good abilities in that.

I also enjoy public speaking.I actually intend on making my money on this ability.

Asc aspects to Sun
Moon aspects to Sun
MC aspects to Sun

-> those aspects indicate creativity?
Okay, then i would be extremely creative with sun conj asc, sun sq moon and sun sq mc

I always thought aspects between Moon, Neptune, Venus and Mercury indicate creativity. And a connection to the MC would be required to make a profession/money of it

Gemini rules my 10th house.
Ill definitely say I want my career to be a creative one.

Its lord, mercury, is sitting in the 5th house Capricorn with my sun (12th house lord).

Mercury rules my chart and also ruler of my Asc.

Saturn is aspecting my 10th house. Im just now (in the past couple years) realizing my potential and wanting make a career of it.

Yes.I was using the Solar 5th house ruler(Sun) as the basis. And using all sensitive points and planets that transit it- as indications of the "type" of talent one has.

Asc-Sun aspects- Talent that involves the use of the physical body; i.e sport/dancing etc.

Mc-Sun aspects- talent that will bring one in contact with the greater public;gifted orator, singer, actor, writer.

Moon-Sun aspects-talent nurtured from an early age/one that involves a great deal of imagination.

I should have included Venus/Mercury too(my bad!!).

And as far as making money is concerned, that would depend on the aspects that Moon, Venus,Jupiter,Saturn and Pluto make to the ruler of the 5th house.

If there are aspects natally, one has faith that one can make a living off of one's talent.

Otherwise, the transit of the slower moving planets(Pluto/Saturn/Jupiter) will convince one that they can. Especially the annoying retrograde motions of Saturn and Pluto. They'll inspire one to "give it a go".

What is the ruler of your 5th house?

Jupiter, the ruler of the 5h, is with mercury at the end of my 1st house, does not aspect moon, semi-sextiles venus, semi-sextiles saturn, sextiles pluto and trines mc

First off,Jupiter as ruler of the 5th immediately suggests a talent in teaching, transferring skills and abilities, coming before the public(Jupiter is expansion), publishing and even speaking.

I have Mercury as the ruler or the 5th. And I have similar talents.

The natal aspect to Pluto suggests that one had a deep inner belief of one's talent. The trine aspect to the MC suggests that there is a desire to come before the public.

Now what sign is Jupiter in? Because that will also play a role.

For instance,my Mercury is in Cap(ruled by Saturn). And Saturn postpones things till one is "ready".

My moon opposes Mercury and so,there is a back/forth and some self-doubt in my own talent.

Opposition is all about external reception. So other people read my writing and say "Wow, you can do it!!" .

And then at other times others will say "Maybe you should keep your day job?"

This ends up confusing me and making me backtrack on my talent.Making me think that perhaps I am not all that good?

But I believe the coming transit of Saturn in Cap will have me "use it or lose it".

The current Pluto transit to my Mercury is applying(by 5 degrees)and giving me great confidence i must say .

I'll have no choice from here on as when Saturn sits on Capricorn(years from now),I'll just have to "do it".

What sign is your Jupiter in?

yeah, but cap also suggests an earthy, details-loving approach, not only delay

Do you have also aspects that indicate fantasy? You need to have fantasy to become a novelist; a strong mercury only would indicate an author/writer but not a novelist

Your posts are pretty good and capture a lot so maybe those readers are just not .. the readers for you. People's criticisms come out of all kinds of places, not always to do with the work itself.

I personally believe no one would be given a hunger to pursue a talent they don't have.

Ok so those singing shows often have people who can't sing but I don't think they really have a pure need to sing.

Is he saying that this could be a money making career?

Jupiter in Leo? That's great. Good orators usually have this placement. Either in Mercury or Jupiter.Very nice!

Now I wonder if the Saturn transits to natal Jupiter(ruler of 5th) in 9th/8th influenced you much? i.e To do something about your known talents? Perhaps take yourself more seriously?

If nothing moved/shifted,the coming Saturn in Sagittarius transiting directly on the 5th (and one day conjunct your Neptune) should do the trick!!

Your Neptune in Sagittarius in 5th suggests a love of theatrics and this ties in well with Jupiter in Leo.

If Jupiter is in 9th, much of what I said about teaching, publishing or transferring skills may be true.

But if Jupiter in Leo is in the 8th house, the talents may be geared towards a field that requires digging and extensive research. A love of mystery!
