What Ascendants age the best and worst?

What aspects can alter it?

This question popped into my mind when I looked up Brendan Fraser. The guy was a handsome lad when younger and for awhile he looked like he wasn't aging well. Though he's back in shape and looking a lot better. He's a Taurus Ascendant and I was like.. nooo.. what's gonna happen to me?

I've noticed Pisces Ascendants look like they wouldn't age well. Don't know if that's the case. I've also heard Libra Ascendants have the same issue as well. Both Ascendants I consider very very pretty so it surprises me.

Granted, I'm sure a healthy lifestyle helps across all signs.

Basically what I'm really asking... do Taurus Ascendant men often lose their hair?

I have Leo Asc. I don't know if that's doing anything for me, but I have read Mercury conjunct Acs. works wonders. I used to hate that I looked 12 when I was 17. And the looks I'd get at the grocery store when I was 24 and I had little babies- Scandalous!

But now I am loving mercury conj. acs. I totally take advantage and don't take care of myself at all...not a good thing.

Genetics rule over ascs.

Edit. As a Taurus asc I barely pass for my actual age. Most of the time people think I many where from 5-9 yrs younger than my actual age.

I think the sign the chart ruler is in also plays a role, as well as the house it is in. Signs/planet positions that affect diet, willing to exercise. Also I think mercury/moon plays a role, the way we think/feel also has a say in aging. Someone who worries alot might age quicker in my view.

Ascendant on it's on isn't just about the physical, we should also consider the aspects to it.

Good call. Most Capricorn Ascendants I know have like no wrinkles compared to their peers of any age group.

And yes, genetics play a role. Certainly. But siblings with different ascendants should theoretically age differently.

I'm a libra and everyon thinks I'm much younger than my age, I'm 39...ppl assume I'm 27-32
Even with Pluto conjunct my AC, I'm sure Pluto's intensity makes me look far from the light hearted innocence of youth...but still ppl always think I'm at least 6-10 years younger.
Asteroid "Young" also is exact on my AC but so is "Karma" <~ another aging asteroid I'm sure!

Unless it's karmic for me to appear young? I'd like to think of it that way(that doesn't mean it is that way)

Gemini Sun,Virgo ASC:
Venus and Saturn sesquiquadrate my ASC(132*)
Jupiter, Chiron, Pluto, Lillith, BML sextile exact my ASC
Sun square ASC(93*)
Moon very, very loosely conjunct ASC(12*)
Uranus and Mercury trine exact, Neptune trine ASC(117*) ,
Asteroid Young biquintile ASC(143*)

Most people think I look a lot younger than I am(24), although when I want to, I can convince people I'm any age(over like 14). lol It's really weird, because when I was younger I could trick people into believing I was my mother(for my baby brother's parent/teacher conference and everybody believed me-You would think when I was actually 15, I would look like a baby). Now, people still get card me for stuff even though people say I give off "grown" energy....maybe it's because my ASC is confused? Too many planets and asteroids aspect it. Probably why nobody gets my Guess my ASC correct.

I agree though, that other factors such as diet, confidence, and exercise level play a huge part in aging.

Typical of a Taurus Asc to be concerned with the external appearance and physical looks- even as one ages.

I think genes, diet and all that general stuff counts. Sometimes these can work against you. But in the above example, I think it was a case of over-indulgence.

In his case,I blame that Uranus/Jupiter/South Node conjunct in Libra in 6th.

Jupiter on the 1st/6th house cusp is prone to pick up weight and just "take it easy". Especially when Jupiter is in Sag,Cancer ,Taurus,Libra,Pisces.

I am a Cap ASC and I do not look my age. I am 34 but most people assume I am in my early 20's.

Definitely strong Cappy placements but also a lot of Gemini! Geminis are the eternal children.

Guilty soooo guilty I'm young and still look pretty much the same as my younger years (except more well put together which is the bright side of growing) but I always worry a little bit for no good reason

I agree with your reasoning. I have Jupiter in the 1st as a Taurus Ascendant and it gives me the appetite of 1000 bulls. Made me overweight in my youth and forces me to be a gym rat as an adult. I know if I don't keep it up as a lifelong habit I'll be fat koho in no time which is why mr Fraser's transformation made me go nooooo

I'm a Virgo Ascendant with Pluto sextile, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune trine my ascendant.

I'm only 24 but I am constantly being carded and being told that I look like I'm in high school. Maybe there's no rhyme or reason.

Basically, all Ascendants aspecting any planets in any house look younger

So it's back to ... "it's up to the genes" theory

You're right oh gosh hahaha. Everyone says they look younger than they really are so it's hard to narrow things down to one rising sign. I feel like the only one who looks older. On the bright side it helped when I skipped school because I fit in with the adults
