I know the feeling. Active 4H here.
And that clip. For as romantic as I am, I feel like Darlene more and more.
Then that post. I'm not even Aphrodite 12H but I still feel that way. ^-^

I just came across this quote at TV Tropes that seems like it could describe some hopeless romantics:
http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/DracoInLeatherPants

"I tell you, Satan's gonna have no trouble taking over here 'cause all the women are gonna say: 'What a cute butt.' 'He's Satan!' 'You don't know him like I do.' 'He's the Prince of Darkness!' 'I can change him.'"

Haha, wow. But isn't that a bit more on the, um... masochistic side? And not in the 'good' sense?

I have Venus in 8th/9th trine Neptune in the 5th, Pisces DSC, Venus quintile Jupiter, Jupiter trine DSC, and I believe aspects between the DSC ruler and DSC(In my case Neptune sextile Pisces DSC).

I am romantic and I believe that there is "the one", but I'm the runaway bride when I'm in love-I want the romance and the fairytale, so I am swept up by it all,but then I realize it could be a forever type of commitment, and I bolt(Venus trine Uranus). Plus, I have a very serious wandering eye, unfortunately,so when I do commit fully romantically, It slowly kills all the dreaminess I hyped it up to be, and then I feel trapped.

Gahh I've had a mental image of the perfect guy for me for as long as I can remember. Like the sort of person I could mesh well personality wise and who's qualities would compliment my own and I'm always thinking "When I'll meet him I'll know, because we'll click like two pieces from the same puzzle."

I also tend to fall in stupid, platonic, agape type love and it's the worst thing ever and every time it happens I wish I was never born

Why? Does it make you sacrifice yourself or otherwise become obsessed to the point they want nothing to do with you? Or that they want you sexually and you can't reciprocate (though wish you could)?

No...I just fell so crushingly sad in a weirdly nostalgic way like they're everything pure and good in this world and it makes me want to cry.

But it's also humbling and frightening like stepping into a holy temple and bowing before something divine. I feel like I want to show them how much I love them and how much I appreciate that they exist and nothing is ever enough to express this feeling so I cry and cry and feel like I'm unworthy of such a blessing.

It's like seeing something unimaginably beautiful you know? It's beauty is painful. You simply can't believe that the world is so amazing and that such beauty exists and you of all people get to see it.

It does not get any worse.

Well actually it does, I know a woman with a very tight Venus-JUPITER-Neptune conjunction. She's like, "I KNOW my prince is out there somewhere!!" (I'm not exaggerating, she literally did say that to me.)

...and now you know one with Venus opp Jupiter square Neptune (and Eros). And I say that every day, it's my mantra...why do you think I'm here on Earth, if not for meeting HIM?

I actually tried to figure out if there is a date in the near future when this will happen...so far, no luck.

I have a lot of "credentials" for hopeless romanticism:

Sag Venus-Neptune square transiting Venus-Neptune this week
Draconic Venus exactly conjunct natal Jupiter
Neptune trine Jupiter
Pisces moon conjunct Amor (almost 3 orb, but I'm cheating )
Valentine-Lust on the moon-Venus MP
Pr sun conjunct pr Eros

^^ Still, I feel like all of that is tempered by my Venus trine Saturn.

Make super picky too because I keep thinking that uber special person gotta exist

Pickiness is a hallmark of Venus-Neptune and one reason I never dated much. I might put people on pedestals, daydream about them, gloss over their faults...but when push comes to shove, I do know the difference between my dreams and the reality. I think we also have a psychic (Neptune) sense of how the love (Venus) will play out, and sometimes that warns us way in advance: this is not worth getting into.

Did you just say Tom Hardy??

Surely you meant this as a compliment!!!!!

Maybe I was put on earth to meet HIM and I'm just disgruntled that it's taking so long.
