Aries–the home may have had a rushed, harried feeling to it. Things were not pushed under the surface as in many homes. However, the Aries home may have been insensitive to feelings. Children may have been told, “Get Over it. Only babies cry”

Taurus—the home may have felt safe. The child may have felt as if he had a warm, comfy nest. There may have been creature comforts such as home cooked meals and comfy places to watch TV etc

Gemini–the home may have been intellectual. Word games such as Scrabble may have been a frequent activity. Books may have been an important part of the child’s life.

Cancer–the home may have felt nurturing. There may have been a feeling of belonging.

Aquarius–the home may have been cold. It may have been intellectual but with little affection.Intellectual pursuits may have been encouraged.

Pisces–the home may have valued spirituality, mysticism and spirituality. There may have been values which encouraged helping less fortunate others.

My situation was mostly like this. In my family we kind of did what we mostly wanted. All of us are Saturn, Aquarius and Pisces heavy.
I take after my dad who when he grew up had a similar household where everyone did their own thing, but he was very close to them. He has Cancer sun and Cancer IC.

Aries/Mars on the IC/aspecting the IC ruler/IC can't wait to move out from under parent's thumb.Prefers living alone.Can't wait to start their own families. May have a baby/fall pregnant at a young age(esp Mars there).(This is me- am in two minds about living alone though)

Taurus/Venus/Libra on the IC/aspecting the IC ruler/IC have dreams of getting married before moving in with someone soon thereafter(especially Venus there). Even moving out of home may be postponed for a long while.(I am also here.I really like cohabitation)

My mom is VERY private!! She is also suspicious of everyone. Quite the opposite from my Gem Sun/Leo Moon father who has got friends in every corner of the world and likes to talk to them on a daily basis. She has never really accepted that.

My childhood was very hard and my mother was really cold...

There wasn't any hard work except for me trying to figure out why my mother wasn't capable of loving me like a mother should. Nobody was a professional person in any way.

not cold...but not physically affectionate. not overly intellectual but my parents encouraged broad-thinking and my dad is obsessed with electronics and technology. computers were/are a big interest for us.

we had/have (i say present tense cuz i'm living back in their house, my childhood home, for now) lots of odd things..the decorating 'theme' is very eccentric and interesting and random. we had a non-traditional upbringing for smalltown midwest...parents had a grow room for marijuana for the longest time.

Jupiter is in my 4th house. i loved my childhood and home and my parents have always been incredibly generous, supportive, and fun.

My father was a Captain in the Navy so he was always travelling, and we were always moving. Sometimes he would come home and say, we got orders to Kadena or wherever, and we would have no choice in the matter. We were nomads and encouraged to look beyond the four walls of a home. We were also encouraged to be well read, well versed(we spoke several languages), and well educated. My mother was an adventurer, and instilled those "wherever the world takes us is where God intended for us to be" philosophies in us from VERY early on. Coincidentally, my mother is a Sag Sun so my IC is very fitting. She sent us on trips early on in life, especially me, because she wanted me to get used to travelling often.

With Uranus there, we were treated like mini adults and though my mother was overly-affectionate, my father was supportive, but cold(he is only said I love you about 5 times ever in my 24 years) We also lived in a smart home once as a teenager thanks to a family friend-cameras, tv's,everything.

Though I have a venus trine IC(exact),and my parents were really indulging, everyone was always getting me food and doing chores for me so I was very pampered and lazy and always eating… though diabetics runs in the family which relates to this aspect, from what i’ve read, which isn’t good for me in the long run.

Saturn and Jupiter also influence my IC and my family was very religious hmm, spending time with relatives normally feels like a duty, i mean visiting aunts and things...or even the weekly lun
