You don't see many people playing them.
Exactly! That's why I asked. I'm from Hawaii, so it's obviously popular here. I've been seeing more artist use it. I just had what I think is an interesting thought. Maybe it could change with progressed charts? Nothing drastic of course but maybe a little. Where some get "I" and later "E".

barbie i know i don't know you irl but i really do think you're much more of an esfj. you're outgoingness, charm and sociability is a trait of having dominant extraverted feeling (fe) which is what esfjs have. estjs tend to be more concerned with practicallity, efficiency and concrete facts. you come across as being really warm, friendly and just all around cool and it doesn't seem forced at all. really natural. definite esfj. and libra is way way wayyyyyy more esfj (fe) than estj. WAY MORE. IP: Logged |

anyways, someone mentioned it being really rare to find an INTP in a tech environment and that's COMPLETELY FALSE. INTPs tend to thrive and populate tech, and science fields (think STEM fields) google intp career choices and the first couple of results while list tech jobs and lastly, people are mentioning that infp and infj are the rarest types around aaaaand i don't believe that to be true tbh i've been apart of mbti communities and i've gone to a workshop where we were given the mbti and we had a professional there. there was a decent size of infps and infj. tbh i think it's just a myth.... maybe they just tell infp/infj that they are rare and special beccause they love to hear that they are (dont get mad guys I'm only teasing :P ^_^) i studied mbti for about 4-5 years but i find it kind of boring and stifling in comparison to astrology. astrology > mbti everyone is so unique and different and has their own personal story in astrology i love it IP: Logged |

Yea, Since the cat is already out of the bag i'll chime in. I have to agree with some of the others. Barbie definitely comes across as more of a feeler than a thinker. Her arguments on here seem to be based more on emotions than logic. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing, it's just the impression I get. IP: Logged |

Yeah, It's not as well known or popular stateside. Honestly, I like the ukulele because people have such low expectations. It's seen as a novelty instrument and alot of people don't realize what all you can do with it. I want to be good enough to be able to pull out my uke and blow peoples minds and take them by surprise with the cool shiz I can play on it. IP: Logged |

Wut? -_- It's called EDUCATING. Pointing out someone's mistake without sugar coating isn't inherently offensive and if you were a thinking type you'd know that. You're so Fe it's not even funny (the first function of your type if you're wondering). I'm kinda glad you made this thread. It's good to have more insight into why you're so annoying. quote: Originally posted by aquaguy91: I don't think a date is going to happen. Cappy is withholding intimacy to preserve her life force.

Hmm... people do change somewhat, as they're affected by things, or other people. Why do you feel the need to insult a group of people on the internet?
What exactly did you find insulting? quote: Holy Crap! This description of INTPs describes me to a T. I guess it's settled, i'm an INTP
This will be only 50 bucks. Anyone else wants me to type them? quote: Originally posted by Vajra: I'm an INTP. I attribute the I to my Water Sun and AC (Cancer/Scorpio), the N to Sag Neptune in H1 tr. Moon and quincunx Sun, the T to a rational Air Mercury (Gemini) and the P to being Fire-dominant (incl. Moon and Jupiter in Aries) and low on Earth. The description given on that site ( http://www.16personalities.com/intp-personality ) is actually rather fitting even though the name ("logician") is different from other sources who call INTP the 'architect' type. And this: ...is actually what my SO complains about the most… funny.
Interesting. I wouldn't have chosen INTP for you judging by the things you said about your chart. Nor by your posts. I would've given you some FN type. Probably INFJ. The way you broke it down makes me suspect you're not familiar functions. For example, INTP is I because introverted thinking is its first function and I wouldn't say your combo belongs in this realm (although I see a connection to Pluto in the 3rd, Mercury-Pluto, Mercury in the 8th). If I had to assign an astrological sign to Ti, it would be Virgo. Where's your Mercury and how is it aspected?------------------ I'm sooo happy! I mean, cappy. IP: Logged |

Insults do not need to go along with education. Don't become a teacher for a career. Poor kids. I'm glad that we have a guru to tell us that we're wrong over what they see on the internet. Where's your test? I want to take it. Do you have credentials? Formal education in this field? Or just a hobby? Do you really think using interactions with someone online is really accurate? I'd suggest you not be a fool but I can't stop you. IP: Logged |

quote: Originally posted by Vajra: Cappy, my Mercury is in Gemini in H8 and also rules H8. It's sextile Jupiter and sextile Venus. Virgo is the sign on my MC and although I have no planets in that sign, I seem to exhibit Virgo qualities in my work life a lot. You must also take into account that people who interact with me in RL (and complain about a Vulcan-like inability to respond 'properly' to their emotional states) see a different side than ya'll do here, where I have time to think and analyse a problem before responding, and can try to be kinder in my choice of words than I would likely manage to be in real-time communication. My Virgo mom is INFJ, and compared to me she's much more easily moved by other people's feelings than me or my ENTJ dad. My SO is an ISFJ; he sometimes says I'm like a battle axe when it comes to his tender feelings (and he's an Aqua Moon guy who occasionally reminds me of Sheldon Cooper). I'm like that completely unintentionally, btw...anyway the kind of feedback you got for your posts in this thread is the kind of feedback I often get in RL, so I can relate. BTW, unlike what some here have reported, every time I retake that test, no matter on which site, the result is always the same; and the weakest parameter is not the T, it's the I, which is close to zero. But after discussing I vs. E with that MBTI professional who took my first test (which was rather more extensive than most internet tests) it became clear I is correct because I lose energy when with other people, and need to "recuperate" from it afterwards. For what it's worth, I often find the INTP descriptions sound a little like Asperger and related conditions, and my family is full of such people who are affected by it in their social life to varying degrees.

Which I took into consideration.Vajra, thanks for clarifying. Online communication is easier to control indeed but still most of the time I don't have the patience to beat around the bush. I think it's more severe on the net. Have you figured out my type yet? ------------------ I'm sooo happy! I mean, cappy. IP: Logged |

quote: Actually I find online communication great for practicing efficient communication! I don't know your age, Cappy, but guess it to be mid-20s... and remember that I didn't mind other people's emotional reactions so much at the time, but after getting the "you are so harsh" feedback for 20 years or longer even from people I care about made me wonder whether it wouldn't be wise to address the issue...without losing the essence of what's positive about INTP. Still working on it, with mixed results.
In short, you're working on your inferior Fe (your last function). Good luck. quote: About your type: Actually I would guess you're an INTP too. INT at least seems rather obvious...so what's your type? Another question: what about my placements made you think T could be F? The water signs? Just wondering because among the celebrity examples are quite a few water suns...
Close ENTP. You're double water, your Sun is possibly in the 8th, you have Moon-Neptune. And if you have a Moon-Jupiter conjunction it would expand feels in theory. Maybe your Mercury sealed the deal. ------------------ I'm sooo happy! I mean, cappy.
