Do you mean Transiting Mars square natal Moon ? You have to remember that mars is doing a dance with the Uranus/Pluto square right now. So its quite potent. Also, in as far as checking your progressed or solar arc chart, it is not as complicated as you may think.I assure you. Its only meant to complement other aspects that may be already there. Look at your planets to see if they arc to conjunct the AC/MC axis or arc to square/opposite or conjunct the Moon. In my case(back to the accident situation). TUranus was arcing to conjunct natal Jupiter by conjunction (11 Degrees). Solar arc Mars was arcing to conjunct natal Pluto (11 Degrees).
I had my car accident when I was....you guessed it. 11 years old. For my sister's birth,Solar Arc Moon was arcing to square natal Pluto(11 Degrees). And guess what? She is very Pluto heavy i.e Sun/Merc/Venus/Jupiter all in Pluto-ruled Scorpio and was born the same year as the accident. So clearly, age 11 was really significant for me. And it most certainly was as it served as a motivation to move 2 years later when i was 13 years old. Now to reflect this change in residence, solar arc Mercury arced to square natal Pluto(13 Degrees). The neighborhood we moved into was like another world(Pluto): Totally different from our past neighborhood. And the move was irreversible(Pluto). If you don't mind posting your chart, I could assist you with this. IP: Logged |

I lost my father when transiting Saturn and Pluto (10th) was opposing my 4th house Sun. ------------------ "There ain't no revolution, only evolution, but every time I'm in Georgia I 'eat a peach' for peace." Duane Allman IP: Logged |

What you first need to establish is whether or not your TOB is accurate or it needs to be adjusted? We will use the arcs to see if it is; Mercury arcs to conjunct the IC at age 22 The Sun arcs to conjunct the IC at age 21. Was there a significant event/events at these ages? Neptune arcs to square the MC/IC axis at age 31. What's going on in your career currently? Anything of note? I already see an arc that may/may not explain the sudden passing of your father. But it will be useless to establish if the TOB is inaccurate. The events have to add up or else its wrong. Hi Aries23, I think you were reading the chart of another poster in the thread. I have posted my chart with transits now. For some reason I can never get it as big as others. Hopefully it is still readable though. Thank you for your help. IP: Logged |

Yes I was But the same principle still applies; The Solar arc Moon arced to conjunct the Ac at the age of 28/29 Venus arced to conjunct the IC/oppose the MC at age 10/11 Saturn arced to square the IC/MC axis at age 11/12 Any of these ages have significant events? IP: Logged |

Of all the things that have been discussed, I think the Saturn transit in Scorpio in the 1H is the closest correlation with your father's death. Although tSaturn is not in aspect to your nPluto, it's within five degrees. These are the two planets closely associated with death and they were both together, Pluto natally, and Saturn by transit, in your Ascendant. This suggests either an inner experience or outer event that would have radically changed your identity or heightened your awareness of life and death. I would argue that there was a process underway of a sobering, deepening awareness orienting you inward beginning with Saturn's transit through the 12H and then coming into orb of your Ascendant, which culminated at the time of your father's death. I wonder what your dreams were during this whole process. I found that both my father and I were prepared in dreams for his "great disappearance." Saturn's transit in the 1H represents an "inward turning time," where your identity undergoes a kind of stripping or being ground down to bare essentials as a prelude to forging a new self. I think your father's death marked a major rite of passage for you that resonated with a maturation of your first Saturn return. "Saturn refines things to their absolute worth, and dispenses with false credentials." Douglas Baker As for progressions, tUranus conjunct your pIC certainly fits. IP: Logged |
