I like your website the89freespirit!!

I just read your Pisces article: I love the part 1, especially because I share the same birthday with Kurt Cobain and Rhiana I'm proud to be their birthday siblings!!!

I also read your "Saturn in the 12th House" article and I teared up a little. You described what it is like to have this position very well. In fact, I was just responding to this thread on here:

http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum24/HTML/230687-3.html

I have a few replies on that page and your article described this aspect better than I did.. Lol!!

I'm gonna go back and read more!

Awesome! Thank you! Yeah, I've come to really love Pisces energy. You're in awesome company. I adore Kurt. He was incredible and pretty much THE Pisces Sun poster child, in my mind, like I said in the article.

And I'm so glad it resonated with you! It's my own placement, so maybe that gave me a deeper understanding of it.

Aww I'm glad you like Pisces!! I kinda had negative interaction with you in the other thread... I'm so sorry (totally unintentional as well) I want to be friends with you, and more so now that I know you have Saturn in 12th house also. We can learn and support each other because I think this Saturn is heavily felt imo.

I had no idea that Kurt was such a strong Pisces, and learned about him when I started reading into astrology. I have five planets in water signs so I can relate to what he went through and felt very much also.

I am glad I have Saturn in Scorpio square Neptune in Capricorn (I think there's a term for flipped rulers?), which I think helps me grounded with my imagination, and NN in Taurus which adds more earthiness to my chart. I wish Kurt had better influence around him so he didn't have to get "drowned" in his depression or whatever tough things he was going through...

Thank you for sharing your blog!

Oh, hey, don't worry about it. It's all water under the bridge now. Plus, I never felt like I was arguing with you, in particular, or anything.

Yes, Saturn in the 12th is tough but is getting better with age. I don't know about you but I feel this very deep melancholy from it. Pluto's transiting my 12th now and is dredging up all my 12th House baggage (Uranus and Neptune are also there, both conjunct Saturn). But its also been very healing. I'm really facing these planets and learning how to work with them. I've realized that 12th House planets need to be indirectly expressed, which is why they are perfect for art or spiritual work. When you try to claim them for yourself, out in the world, it kind of backfires because it's like the ego is trying to have its way, which is a 12th House no-no.

So, with Saturn, is your life just desperately out of control a lot? I can't seem to establish practical, stable structure to save my life. It's like you have to give up getting the thing your 12th House planet represents in the "real world" and just find that privately. So, my structure just comes from my creative life and taking my metaphysical studies like astrology seriously. But, in spite of being Cap Rising, it's like the Universe isn't going to allow me to claim Saturn's traits for my ego. I've got to express it in ways that are not about me.

Does that ring any bells for you?

Yes, Kurt was incredibly Water-heavy. All five personal planets in Water! I believe he was into astrology, too. He referenced being a Pisces quite a few times. He had the Sun, Mercury, and Venus there. What are your placements? I see you just had your Saturn Reurn, too. Did that amplify a lot of the placement's effects?

PS I originally wrote that your Scorpio Saturn and Capricorn Neptune were in mutual reception. No clue why i did. I'm blaming Mercury retrograde! But, they would be, if Pluto was in Cap in your chart. So, they're not exactly flip-flopped.

Excellent observations on 12H planet/ AC conjunctions.
Venus conjuncts my AC by 0 degrees in Aquarius - your description is spot on.

Okay! Glad I didn't offend you or anything

Yikes.. your 12th house is so packed!! Pluto in 12th.. sounds very heavy too..

I agree with you that it's very healing. It's painful but rewarding at the end. It's like facing your worst enemy but you make friends with them so everything will be fine! lolol

Life out of control - YES! One trouble after another. As soon as I feel I'm done dealing with crap, THERE COMES ANOTHER ONE! And this ties to your comment:

"When you try to claim them for yourself, out in the world, it kind of backfires because it's like the ego is trying to have its way, which is a 12th House no-no."

So I gave up trying to avoid crap... It won't work. Crap will find me and I will have to deal with it. I'm being the best Pisces I can be right now.. HAHAHHA Just going with the flow. Don't get fussed over little things. Let it go. For me, I was experiencing a lot of deja vu, those issues I avoided to deal with, came up to the surface. However, second or third time around, I was able to approach them more calmly, more objectively, and from different angles. I have yet to experience the result of my new approach though. I think April eclipse that is coming up will shake things up...? I'm sort of excited to see what will happen!

Ego must be hard one to deal with. Ego to me is what defines me and what I strongly believe and represents about me. To let go of your ego is like... to let go of "you"rself... This is tough!!

12th House being sort of the "end" of the cycle, I think it's necessary to restructure life because maybe you can structure better for the new cycle, new phase of your life. It's the prep work! It seems like you learned A LOT! Phew!! Good job on handling such a busy 12th House!!! *high five*

It's nice that you have an outlet for your creativity!! You are truly gifted in astrology! Your work shows it all For me, I guess I am utilizing more "compassionate" and "empathetic" side of Neptune/Pisces quality which I need for my professional career. It's been great!

Five PERSONAL planets in water - yikes... That's crazy!! I have Sun, Moon, Mercury, Saturn, and Pluto in water! The recent Saturn return was definitely something but I felt like it triggered transformation in me? Metamorphism! I have this sense of something grand is waiting for me, or I'm about to start something huge... a new adventure.. I dunno! Lol!

Ah, mutual reception! THAT's the term I was looking for You're right, my Saturn and Pluto aren't in mutual reception. However, they sextil in my natal though but Pluto is in 11H.

Yeah that stellium of mine is a whopper! I like how you cal the process of coming to terms with 12th House planets as making new friends. Friends that were always there that you kind of ignored. So, my new friends are a depressed guy (Saturn), an eccentric guy (Uranus), and a spacey guy who cries a lot (Neptune). Haha. But, they run so deeply that they've been there all along and now you're just fully aware of them.

Saturn in the 12th can grow to be more melancholy than depressing, which doesn't have to be so bad. Just an eternal dissatisfaction that can end up being inspiring. Like you said, you just have to accept that crap will come and let go of worldly control. These planets are good ways to recharge. So, with Saturn in the 12th, we can recharge by getting serious and finding things we can control in our own little world.

I agree that the concept of ego release can seem scary or offputting. But, I think the wisdom in this house is that we already are who we need to be because we exist. We are here so are egos will remain intact no matter what. So, we don't need to put all that energy into trying to have our self recognized and accepted. That's all just an illusion the world teaches us. I know I sound a little trippy, haha, but it's true.

But, I'm glad to hear you've been working so much on this energy. The more I think about the 12th, the more I realize what great blessings planets here are.

Besides, every day a 12th House person isn't in jail, a homeless shelter, or a mental hospital, they should pat themselves on the back. Just kidding, of course.

I like your friends; depressed guy, eccentric guy, and spacey guy who cries a lot- lol. Take care of spacey guy, ok? Depressed guy's dissatisfaction with the world is an invitation to look beyond, I think.

My 12th housers that are conjunct my Asc are Mercury and Jupiter at about 1 degree. I think they are affected by Leo their sign, and Jupiter certainly causes me to overdue when it comes to my Mercurial expression, but I do relate to these planets as 12th house planets. They make me want to share the 12th house, it's wisdom and secrets. This desire and ability to share is on and off because of of my Cancer Sun which is definitely not on the Asc, but which gives balance and some time to reflect. Thanks so much for your work. The best part of it is your honest self reflection and sharing.

Thanks.

Well, people can instantly feel this very deep kindness, grace, and ability to love within you but you'll express these qualities in a really subtle way. People that you meet can find themselves attracted to you, in different senses of the word, without knowing you. You've got a powerful yet mysterious charm and sensual appeal that you might not be fully aware of or might be rather shy about. You don't really want people falling all over you in admiration but a part of you secretly enjoys it.

What sign is the conjunction in?
