Hey, so I realize that I don't keep you all as updated as often as I should on my blog. Maybe because I'm always posting.

But, yeah, there's quite a few articles on there you might want to check out on:

Mars in the 7th House
Jupiter in Cancer (Natal)
Mars in the 8th House
The Chart Ruler

Basically, everything under this month. I plan on doing a series of articles on the North Node, too, and posting them soon, as well as tackling my Sun in Aries article.

Anyways, feel free to check them out and give me some feedback. It's in my signature. Many of you have said some really nice things about my blog so thanks for the support.

I just checked out your Chart Ruler article and I really liked it.

My AC is in Aquarius, but tracking down the chart ruler is easy as Saturn and Uranus conjunct by 2 degrees in my chart

Interesting thought about the return of the chart ruler being an empowering period. I'm about to enter my Saturn return within the next year or 2, but am already feeling the echoes - considering all the frightening stories out there on Saturn Returns, it's nice to hear someone balance it out

For Leo Rising, the chart ruler return would happen on the native's birthday right? This explains an obsession with birthdays of a Leo AC person I know, which I have never been able to understand, nor were they ever able to explain other than saying "I just feel it's important". Looks like it's a semi-conscious awareness that it's more than just 'the day when I was born'.

Very interesting article

I browsed your blog last night!
Great articles and insight! Very easy to understand without feeling overwhelmed. Some astrologers are confusing and its hard to stay focused.

Thanks, SaturnFan! It seems like your chart ruler is already showing through your username!

And, yeah, the return for a Leo Rising would be on their birthday. So, I think the obsession is more about the day being able to revolve around them. I think the chart ruler's return really allows you to re-sort out your life.

So, that's why I wouldn't worry too much about the Saturn return if Saturn's ruling your chart. Because you're already really used to this energy dominating your life.

As a Capricorn Rising, I'm used to things being challenging and difficult. So, while everyone else complains about the Saturn return, Capricorn Rising is just, like, "Welcome to my world, people." Haha, and I think it's a turning point for those with this Rising sign to really become adults because life really motivates us during this time.

Now, for you, as an Aquarius Rising, Saturn works a little differently. You always feel like you're rebelling against restrictions. Saturn brings all of these rules and you say, "Well, what if I did it this way..." So, for you, the Saturn return will be a time of real inventiveness and experimentation. You might feel a lack of opportunities but it's only going to give you more of a chance to veer off on to another path. The restriction will force you to think outside of the box, on your way to success, and make you feel even more Aquarian than ever.

At least, that's my take on it.

Thank you! Every now and then, I worry about my articles being a little too long to completely digest (Mercury conjunct Mars and sextile Moon at work!) So, I'm glad they don't overwhelm you.

Not at all! I'm the same way. I have Mercury conjunct my Sun, Moon and Asc with Mars sqaures everywhere LOL! I love communicating, and reading or listening to another pesrson's thoughts. I love having that allowed access into another person's mind. My mind never stops its overwhelming thinking so its a very nice change. As long as its not bland I'll read it! I can't keep focus on boring, repetitive material and yours was not that.

I came up with the username when I was still identifying only with my Cap Sun and thought Saturn's influence was only limited there - little did I know. Now I'm an even prouder fan of Saturn then I was then

Haha, I love this. I have a very close friend who is a Cap Rising, I'll let her know about this as she is also about to enter her Saturn Return. She has a very, very sensitive Pisces Moon, so she will really appreciate the encouragement

When I mentioned I'm feeling echoes, this is EXACTLY what I meant, so your take on it is incredibly accurate! I'm slowly making my way into the human rights area, which is a very difficult and drastic change in direction from what I have been doing so far, but I'm loving it. My Saturn & Uranus are in the 11H so it all falls nicely in place. I'm looking forward to exploring my Aquarian nature

Thank you very much for the input, the89freespirit - I'll be a regular reader of your blog from now on!

Chart ruler, Venus. 12th house. Virgo conjunct mercury and square Neptune.(3rd)

Le sigh

Historically it's been very difficult when Venus comes back around but it gets better with age.

Hey DF, have you not noticed that I have been going around saying that I am a Leo Rising with a Mercury chart ruler? Why haven't you corrected me? If I knew it was this simple...

...So apparently my chart ruler is the Sun. I liked it when it was Mercury. I feel the influence of Mercury more prominently as it is conjunct my Asc and Jupiter, and I have a Gem Mars and Virgo NN and Saturn... I'm not terribly interested in my 12th house Cancer Sun (or I prefer to express it in private- like completely alone, lol), but it's square to Pluto and Uranus trine really do explain the themes that play out in the movie otherwise known as my life.

Thanks the89freespirit! What would you suggest my focus should be to make the best of my chart ruler, a Cancer Sun in 12, square Pluto, trine Uranus?

Thanks for reading, venus2tinkerbell! And Mercury can still be a big influence. It sounds like it's a dominant planet in your chart. There's never one planet that's the total focus. It's just that the chart ruler tends to be in the lead, as far as the tone of your life.

What you're saying sounds very "chart ruler in the 12th." That's where mine is too, by the way! I would say that you're meant to either live a very private life or sort of have two very distinct lives: the life in the "real world" and the life in your own 12th House inner world.

I think, as I've gotten older, I'm not very Saturn-like out in the world. I used to always feel super-vulnerable and overwhelmed and misunderstood when I would play that Saturn role very publicly. Now, I kind of compartmentalize my Saturn. I'm very serious and structured and even melancholy when I'm alone. When I'm out in the world, I'm very different.

I think 12th House planets are kind of meant to be compartmentalized like that, so long as you're not deluding yourself about them being in your personality. They're not exactly made for the real world. They kind of need to be protected and given special outlets.

So, having a 12th House Sun as the chart ruler means you'll feel most empowered and confident when you're withdrawn into your little world. This can be a very rejuvenating thing, as it allows you to recharge in a way that makes you very happy and personally fulfilled. So, you're a total chameleon, out in the world, playing lots of different roles. But, when you're alone, you can fully be yourself. You have the heart of an introvert in this manner and should respect it. By the way, Meryl Streep is a 12th House Cancer Sun with Leo Rising. So, you're in awesome company!

I'd make the most out of this placement by using all of that private time to really get clear about what you want out of life and strengthen your willpower. Do lots of visualizations and affirmations in private about what you'll achieve out in the world. The square to Pluto might make you sort of paranoid about your privacy, though, so don't be too obsessive in this regard. But, the trine to Uranus means that you can be very inventive during this private time, coming up with lots of brilliant ideas to use to shine out in the world and make it a better place.

Barbiegirl,

That's good to hear! I think many of my readers might be Mercury-heavy, too, because they might appreciate the word vomit.

SaturnFan,

I'm glad I helped you understand that! What you're doing sounds like the perfect arena for an Aquarius Rising person. You might find that success in that field happens around the time of the Saturn Return.

I'm still 25 so I haven't endured mine yet. But, with anyone, no matter the Rising sign, the more you mentally prepare for it, the easier it will be to get through.

DeepFreeze,

I empathize, as a fellow chart ruler in the 12th person. It's not an easy life but with a lot of awareness and spiritual growth, it can be really fulfilling. Maybe you can get a bit of insight from my post to venus2tinkerbell.

And thanks, mischievousone! And anyone else who read and enjoyed.

I very honestly missed it! Sorry!!
I feel mercury the most also. I have a theory for mine.
With mercury, Venus, mars in my 12th. Mercury is in its home sign. Venus, my chart ruler is also in 12th.
Mercury also rules Gemini, my moon.
So essentially, my first, seventh, eighth, ninth, and 12th houses are tied to the 12th via rulership.
All feeding into mercury sitting there, owning that house pretty much.

wow! Just so spot on and enlightening. I really appreciate your time and attention. Everything you wrote is the way it is, and it's nice to know that what I am comfortable with is ok, and even good for me.

Would you believe me if I told you that Meryl Streep is my all time favorite actress?! I can really relate to that outward presentation with so much going on underneath or below the surface. The way she moves and speaks just affects me- lol.

You're so welcome! I know it can be tough to value 12th House concerns when the world operates so differently. So, I always take the time to encourage my fellow 12th House people.

And that's definitely no coincidence about Meryl! You sensed a kindred spirit. It's not surprising at all that many of the most incredible actors of our day are 12th House people. Daniel Day-Lewis has Saturn in the 12th (and Capricorn Rising, so he's like my twin, like Meryl is yours), Marion Cotillard has Venus in the 12th, Cate Blanchett (who happens to be my personal favorite) has Moon conjunct Saturn in the 12th. And then Meryl. Total chameleons and all pretty mysterious and hard to pin down, too, in their own ways.

I am a huge fan of Daniel Day-Lewis. There Will Be Blood- One of the best movies ever made. The first 20 minutes of this movie is silent. This movie just carries so much controlled intensity the whole way through, and now I would have to call it Saturn. Obviously the movie is what it is because of Day-Lewis, and the screen play writer and director Paul Thomas Anderson who was just genius in casting Day-Lewis.

Totally agree, though I think I'm a bit more of a fan of his performance in it than the film itself. You're right. It wouldn't be the same quality without him in it. He's incredible.

And thanks Bella!

I didn't want to create a whole new thread again...

So, just adding to this one by saying that I just posted another article:

12th House Planets conjunct Ascendant and 9th House Planets conjunct Midheaven

The article explains how different these planets are from 1st House and 10th House angular planets and why I think they don't need to be "moved up" to the next house.
