I'm trying to learn. Pisces sun/ aries ascendant here. Sometimes I feel like a wise old person stuck inside the veneer of a little child. I don't feel very aries at all. The way i speak for example sounds like a little girl. It doesn't reflect my inner voice.

I've always assumed the ascendant is like a mask. I'd like to know how to differentiate the sun and ascendant, so any insight you can pass my way would be much appreciated.

Basically what I'm saying is that the planets are influences, while the houses are "realities". We feel planets because they influence us. No one is just one sign. EVERYONE is every sign. All 12. They are just in different areas of our life. Your Sun is in your 12th house, it would be completely different if it was in your 5th house.

Houses are the "what", planets are the "how".

Your rising shows the conditions of your present life (transits etc..), your Sun shows what particular aspects in your life will influence you and where they will come from

but i feel my aqua energy more the older and more mature i become BUT i also can see how im just "different" i look at situations and do things in different ways than others normally see, i even started growing dreads i just couldnt stand the average hair cut that pretty much everyone has i dont like it i cant help it lmao

I believe I remember your placements; Sun in Leo, Moon in Gemini, Libra Asc. This would be read as, at birth the Sun was in Leo, the Moon was in Gemini, and YOU were in Libra. So, you're Libra with a Leo Sun, and a Gemini Moon.

Temperament wise, is it my Scorpio Asc, or my 8th house sun? Ugh! Everything is so connected in my chart anyway.

Asc at 0° Scorpio,
Trine Venus in Cancer Rx
Trine Saturn Pisces sR
With Neptune in Scorpio 1st Rx...
(Yes, water is the only element in my chart that has placements in all three signs, and they are ALL retrograde!)
Sun in the 8th.

The outside of your home expresses who you are to an extent, it tells some of your story...it's not the whole story but it still gives a good idea of how you express yourself.
It shows how you like or want to be seen as a person, no matter what's going on inside, day to day. You always want to keep what others see, the outside, relatively consistent. Another words, you don't want neighbors, ppl your not comfortable with or just 'anyone' seeing your internal drama, your emotional "dirty laundry"!

The AC hides your day to day, personal planet drama behind a consistent personality that is easily shown to ppl who are not close enough to share your more intimate things.
Your intimate family, friends and closer contacts dont see your AC as much as ppl you are less close to unless your AC touches your personal planets like mine.

Through your AC we can't see that you've been working on deeply personal issues, just like from the front of your house we can't see you've been depressed and have not done the dishes for a few days. We can't see that your letting go by cleaning out all your closets or that your still so attached that you kept your great grandmas wedding dress for decades, hidden in your closet, because you loved her that much!! You would have to open the door and let is in for us to know that.

The entire house tells who you are as a whole. I relate the houses in your natal chart to rooms in your literal home. Where your planets fall says a lot about how you function and focus your energies room by room in your home.

The Sun-
What house/room does your ego/sun sit in...I would identify the Sun with your bedroom(for me) because my bedroom is where I feel the safest and most able to understand myself to see my value. In my bedroom is where I soul search and think so that I can find myself(funny my sun falls in my 2nd but on my 3rd house cusp, what I value about myself and the house of the mind come together and identify who I am)
Personally I feel I am here to use my mind...I am meant to dissect what I have experienced in my life and heal soulful pains through what I learn. Then to help others do the same that's who I am.
Ppl won't see this in me as much as I feel it, unless they come into my very personal space, my bedroom, because they want to see life through my eyes and learn who I am.

The Moon-
How do you nurture yourself and others? I feel mom/moon is all over the house. She is everywhere and nowhere, she belongs nowhere and everywhere. Mom is nurturing throughout the whole house taking care of everything never missing a detail in order to make life better.

Moon and it's house shows the areas of life you will spend a great deal of time being nurtured, needing to nurture or nurturing within yourself.

Mercury-
My mind is conjunct my ego on my 3rd house cusp, intensifying my need to identify myself through my thoughts. Saggy Merc conjunct Sun

Venus-
How do I love??
I wish it was sitting in the back of my house shared only with ppl who enter and shut the door behind them....but my Venus is sitting on my front porch for everyone to see. I can't hide my love for others, it's always out there for everyone to see. Ppl use that to hurt me or they appreciate it...either way its still there. I can't help that it's sitting on the front porch like a welcome mat! (used to be a door mat but I upgraded it, lol)

Mars-
Mars is what drives you....in my home I'm driven by the desire to understand my heart, to understand how my heart and it's energy affects the universe around me. Ppl don't see this when they first meet me, they have to talk to me and listen to my research. They would have to join in my home and come into my study...where I read and travel the universe in my head, heart and my books. They would have to want to understand me as I am while I'm devouring the information that allows me to understand the big picture of life. Gemini Mars in 9th house.
