You clearly get something out of it, and I must say, as respectfully as I can, I don't understand your attachment to this approach. Maybe I'm too Libran for it. To me, it's akin to being an untouchable scientist; you cannot submit research to peer review, because none other's research exists but your own. Thus, you cannot be dissuaded or persuaded, and we can only take you on your word that your research is as legitimate as you claim. For one with as much VIRGO as I have, that's very unsettling, I must admit. Now, I'm not seeking to be antagonistic. I simply sought Vixen's opinion in regards to why she stated with such certainty that NESSUS must always operate in a negative fashion -- which I've already showed per my own research to contest the point. I know your opinion -- quite well, in fact -- since you've offered it before in defence of your methods. Here I was more interested in why she also holds this opinion. Perhaps it's sycophantic. But I'm hoping it's got independent research supporting her claim. IP: Logged |

You have to have some sort of personal simpatico with the astrologer, too. It is a very intimate relationship. Not all therapists are right for every person. Not all hair dressers. Not all anything is right for everyone I have a pre interview with everyone that contacts me before I accept their chart. I want to enjoy doing their chart. I want them to enjoy me. I have a whacky sense of humor and I say things very directly. I am as honest as I can be because Truth is love, to me. Hence, I want a good fit with myself and all clients so it is a great experience for them and for me, too I want to have FUN. Charts are so much fun to me. Getting to know people is fun,amazing and wonderful. Helping people is one of the most heartwarming things a person can do. Seeing people get peace from life long struggles is a honor and charts do this. Hence, I strive for every chart I do to have this combo and they, always, do, when I follow the above steps lol

I forget you haven't been doing astrology for very long. The first ten years can be more intimately hands-on like that. But over time, you could find it limits you -- the sort of clientele you can have, and what you can do for them.For the record, though, we can agree on LIE and SWINDLE. I've never seen these fail in synastry. When I see them appearing in close aspect in a romantic relationship, its influences CAN be managed, but they're there. Natally, we have more control. Therapists working with psychotics might have LIE strong, for example, or government operatives. But if a merchant has SWINDLE rising, or conjunct the ruler of his 2H, I think we can agree that we might not want to do business with him; either he's been cheated many times and is 'paying that back', or it's something he finds no issue with. So you'd better believe, out here in Hollywood, I use LIE and SWINDLE frequently. It varies natally, in terms of its expression, but in synastry? There's always a reason. While everything has degrees and gradations, they don't ALL have as much. IP: Logged |

I feel guided by God. I have a purpose and I try to follow where I am led. As long as I am helping people, I am happy I will never be perfect in what I know or how I do it. I try to do the best I can with where I am at the moment. ------------------
