@ Ami, I fear running out of money too, but I think everyone thinks that way as well.

Yes. You are being subjective.

My x husband and I both had this. It was a very easy marriage. Also, what do you consider "a delay" in getting married?

My personal understanding is there are always good and bad manifestations of everything, even Saturn. Or high and low vibrations as someone else said. I might start going with that terminology.

Saturn, by house, causes struggles and delays. In time, the person can overcome them.

He is your ex, so you are kind of answering in the affirmative, by default

I will look at yours N. I will just tell you some things I see.

Low air--you may bottle things up and not be able to express them until you blow.

Beautiful way with words. You make people feel good with your words

May struggle with a temper you have to keep in line.

Pluto quincunx Chiron exact.

Your childhood may have been hard. It may have been your mother who was the more difficult parent but I am not sure.

You may really struggle in your deep passionate side to find God. Your early home pain may be part of it. It may lead you to find God. It may push you to do so. When you do, you will feel as if a whole new part of you has come to be.

Thanks for interpeting my chart, Ami! If it can be expressed in words, I will confront, but sometimes you just want to hurt them but you can't if you recall the nasty things that has been done? That's what I have noticed that I keep inside. I agree with the other things you said, and when I was growing up, my mom was indeed strict and controlling and very conservative and rigid. She was a Scorpio. She was prone to sudden violent outbursts too represented by Mars square Uranus in our composite chart, so I now am wary with that aspect. You will get hurt! Lol. But we got along too despite that. My dad doesn't emotionally understand me unlike my mom. Mom passed away when I was 15, so I'm stuck with a crazy although less violent and controlling dad.

Natal Taurus Saturn in the 12th.

I am an intensely private person.

The underside of that is with having a mental illness CPTSD and anxiety, I feel broken and will come out after I have gotten to know a person better and their trust has been earned. Respect needs to be earned to.

I do try to give others chances and to open up. Half the time the door slams in my face and back to square one.

It's hard to get info from me.....maybe that's merc in my 12th too.

I have pondered this long and hard and I do not subscribe to it. I think it is taking the natural order of the Zodiac and adding elements that are not there. I think it is a stretch too far. I think the 2nd House is material resources and material resources, only.Although, I have never been without material resources, I do have a deep fear of this, which must explain my Saturn in the 2nd House.

This is also my placement and I was even thinking of starting a thread on Saturn in the 2nd house because I wanted to know others' opinions and how it affects one’s financial situation. I also fear I might lack financial resources at some point which is reinforced by strong Virgo (Sun, Venus, ASC) but so far my financial situation was quite stable.
Funny enough, my Saturn is in Libra and I remember that when I was having Saturn return my worries were limited exclusively to relationship and love issues, but not to money issues. I had just broken up with my boyfriend, I felt I was getting old, and that I should already be in a stable relationship, thinking about having a family, etc.

I never lacked for money. I have been blessed with it. I am an earth void and they say this happens to earth voids.

Saturn in the second may be a FEAR of lack of money rather than an actuality. I don't know.

Chiron in the 2nd seems to give the actuality but I have done limited charts, in terms of not seeing every chart with these placements, of course.

What I have seen of Chiron in the 2nd is more an an actual poverty, though.

If you don't put your whole chart up in Beginners, you should look at your moon and tell me everything it does.

You should check out all of my asteroids, too, and see what conjuncts your Moon or makes a 1 degree trine, opposition or square to it.

What you are going through can be explained by the charts and help you not to blame yourself cuz we all blame ourselves for our struggles imo

Ceres is conj Saturn and trine Vesta.

I know what ever trauma has happened in my life is not my fault. The circumstances I had no control or power over. The toxic people are no longer in my life.......just managing what happened to me.

Umm. No. You wrote that it makes "marriage difficult". Our marriage was in no way difficult, neither was the end of the marriage. And I'm sure people with Saturn in the 7th are not the only ones that get divorced.

You also said it causes "delays". What kind of delays? I was married after knowing my husband 2.5 years. That's not really a delay. Nor were we older than the average.

I'm just answering your own admission of subjectivity. If you weren't biases as you said, you'd have mentioned the good things about Saturn in the 7th.

"When functioning well, Saturn can manifest as a responsible and loyal partner. Whilst you may not be inclined to be overly demonstrative, you show your abiding love in other ways such as being a rock for your partner to lean on. Love for you is a verb. Far from never being happy in marriage like the old interpretations suggest, Saturn in the 7th house shows that you have the potential to reach a great level of maturity and understanding not only of your partner but of yourself. When there is an inner marriage within the self then you can meet your partner adult to adult, choosing to be with them on level ground; independent yet walking side by side, sharing the journey of life through all its ups and downs".
