~ It's not hard...Well, at least in theory, it shouldn't be... for most people. ~ Why would be hard? And Hard about what? Those 2 would be the main questions. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- • If the problem is simple math, as declinations, orb facts, etc. Then I think it's not big deal, because it's part of a "mechanical" process. • But If the "problem" in question is the accuracy of the interpretations. ~ Well, then The key is not to allow your emotions to interfer in your readings. Because uncontrollable emotions always lead to a lack of good judgmenet. Note: ( Human Intiution &/or pre-cognition abilities are not necessary related with emotional instability ) You can be one the Most skilled and accurate Astrologers in the world - While being intuitional at the Same time. ------------------------------------ But emotional instability It's a very different problem. It's not related with being Intuitional or Not. In that case, the perception of reality is hard to achieve for ANY person that has fall into fear, paranoia, false assumitions and pre-conceptions of what they think It's "true". Emotional instability is NOT an illness. But It's just a very special type of energy that "flows" in the wrong way. Nothing more and nothing less.

You guys, the info/ resources you gave me is invaluable! Thank you so much. I've actually copied and pasted this entire thread so I can research each and every bit of info.Geeky- I'm following both Astrolada and Debra S. I had no idea Debra was offering classes though. Good to know! Thanks for the book recommendations and links. I'm def going to check out the twelve houses. Aries23Degrees- You're right, I do learn a lot from observation as well. I've even picked up on little gestures each sign makes. I think it's the aspects and putting together the slices to make a whole that I'm having trouble with. AngaCrowley- I always though Knox was innocent. I need to check out her chart LOL! Celebrities charts are helpful. For example, I recently looked up Zak Bagans from Ghost Adventures and I thought it was interesting that he has Mars in the 12th house. Kannon McAfee- Wow! 20 yrs is a long time You must know your stuff. Thank you for the recommendations. I will check all of them out! It's interesting you say to study the stars because it was my passion before getting into astrology. I think maybe even it led to me getting there. IP: Logged |

Astrology is both art and science. The science part is easy enough, thanks to computers (although some still cast by hand). The art of Astrology can never be fully mastered; it is always evolving--thanks to the science. I would say to become a sponge and absorb all that you can. The best Astrologers I know would probably say it's as "easy" as three simple words: practice, practice, practice. Art can only be enjoyed through its creation.IP: Logged |
