So far for me it's been accurate even in predicting the sign of the children. Technically I could have 3 but I think I'll stick to the two I have.

I've heard that too. If that is the case I would have one child (Taurus 5th, ruled by Venus), but I also have Jupiter in 5th house with 3 aspects to Jupiter. I'll have to research this a little more.

Congratulations. Gemini is a twin sign, hmm, it makes some sense for the twin.

My 5th house is in Aries, where my Sun, Mercury and Venus sit. I have 2 children and one on the way. My 3rd will be my last child, as my tubes will be tied after.

Aquarius 5th house cusp no planets its ruler is in the 2nd house conjunct saturn, one applying aspect to uranus. I have a feeling I'll only be having one child though I'm not opposed to having more. I'd like for my son to have a companion (I have a sibling and its awesome)

Are children not transit/progressions related?

I have progressed Jupiter and Mercury in the 11th and I am starting to think of kids more often.

I'm a Leo sun, Cancer moon. I've read that this makes me a certified soccer mom, but I dislike children and do not want to have any at any point in my life. My mind could always change, but as of right now, the idea of it makes me shudder.

I don't have any planets in my 5th house, but I have Aries in the 5th house.

Empty 5th house, Taurus cusp. Venus is in Virgo and badly aspected. No kids yet and don't plan on having any until I can create a stable environment.

On topic: No natural affinity for kids here. No deep psychological reason for it either, I simply do not relate with kids.
I get along with them and they seem to like me but I don't have any desire to have them, unless one day I meet a man, "the right one", who might change my perspective about the whole thing.
I see myself much more "mothering" animals, taking care of animals than little humans.

Moon in Taurus in the 5th.
Aries on the 5th house, Mars in Leo on the 9th.

When you say cusp, is it the sign before the house or after?

Sorry for the noob question.

https://skywriter.wordpress.com/2011/02/07/things-you-may-not-know-about-the-5th-house-and-children/

I was reading this yesterday actually.

It is interesting in that I have one child, my first planet in my 5th is Mercury. My daughter is Mercurial.

I have Taurus rising, Leo on the fifth house cusp. Mars in Leo and combust jupiter in Virgo are in the house also. I have one child. I was thirty two years old when I got pregnant for the first and only time. The first time isn't because I hadn't tried before the last time was because I did take steps to ensure it would be my last pregnancy because I had a feeling once I had my first pregnancy as second would soon follow if I didn't take precautions.

I'd wanted a child for as long as I could remember. A child. One. No more and no less. By the time I did get pregnant I had already reconciled myself to what I thought was the fact that I was going to get less than my one.

I do love children and have been like a second mom to many in my childless days. I just didn't want to have the full time responsibility of raising more than one child. I didn't want to have to divide my time and energy which would have resulted in my only being able to give half as much to each one if I had two. More than two was completely unthinkable.

I'm talking for myself only. There are people out there who can give more than one child all they need and want without feeling like they are or actually are shortchanging them all. I'm not one of those people. With each child the less better of a parent I would be and I wanted to be a very good parent.
