On a serious note transiting Pluto has been forcing me to pay attention to my Pluto-Venus issues.

I think natal Pluto-Venus aspects definitely have characteristics we can all relate to- strong sexual nature, emotional intensity, obsessions, etc. But most of us really are driven people, living purposeful lives, so as amazing as this energy is, it can't just be. It can't be a roller coaster ride for the sake of being a roller coaster ride. This roller coaster goes somewhere, as Freespirit talks about in the link SaturnFan posted above.

I think Pluto-Venus naturally has a deep understanding of the power of sex and love for good or evil, and how to wield that power. I cannot seem to fit myself into a traditional relationship. There is turmoil, disappointment, heartbreak. But I have also noticed that every single relationship I have had has a teacher/student, healer/patient nature to it. Maybe all do. I don't know. But I have noticed that I am attracted to men I think can teach me something. The men I have committed to seriously, were philosophers or scholars. Here's the catch, the tables always turn, and I am always surprised to find myself in the role of either the teacher or the healer. I know that my love heals, and I know that I am a very good teacher because I teach with love. Sex is where things get messy, because I don't have a good grasp or understanding of my sexuality. Sure I'm free, I'm open, I'm wild, I'm daring, intense...but those attributes are superficial. I need to get a hold of my sexual energy, understand it and use it in the positive way I use my affection and compassion. When I am healing and teaching, I am healed and can learn.

I think Pluto-Venus can be a practitioner of love and sex for personal good and the good of others. This practice can be in monogamous relationship or a less conventional relationship. My Venus-Uranus trine really doesn't care how you do it

About the jealous women, what can I say? Haters gon' hate!

But, ah, WOW! Venus conjunct Pluto on your AC? That seems like serious business. Maybe more intense than the square, but in a good way? I don't know. I'm curious about the conjunction.

Ya, there's no hiding from Pluto when it's sitting 3 degrees off your AC. Ppl always have serious reactions to me. I can't just walk into a room and be invisible because ppl notice and remember you even if your doing nothing noteworthy at all.
I would not be a good theif or runner for some illegal job, because I can't be invisible.

Then add Venus and you have whole different issue, extreme reactions plus the sense your falling in love, great.
Plus Pluto was sitting exact on my Venus off and on for a couple years when I was 5-7, so those guys 5-7 years younger than me can get a little weird at times, esp the scorpios with their Pluto's conjunct my Venus.

I have Pluto and Venus conjunct in a stellium as well and I understand how there is a dark side to love, though also that love and sex aren't synonymous or necessary for each other (which probably has more to do with my 5H stellium, speaking strictly of astrology).

I've also been attracted to those I feel I can learn from. They can be intellectuals of some kind but not necessarily so just as long as there's something I can learn (they don't have to teach me, mind you, rather I learn from them--learning and being taught aren't always the same thing) and I end up teaching them some things as well.

But as for jealous women...I think about all women have to deal with that to one degree or another. It's not constant for me, but I can share experiences that range from the annoying to the infuriating. One that made me laugh was about a couple of years ago when I was waiting for a friend to pick me and the kids up and we all had a snack while waiting for her and a pizza (we were having one made that we'd take home and heat up and while waiting several drove up to pick up a pizza to take home for the same reason) and several women glared at me while the men didn't. I finally asked the girl with me what it was...and she pointed out the women glaring at me were overweight while I was fit and yet there I was waiting for a pizza and eating a candy bar (and I added WITH KIDS to myself, though I didn't actually give birth to them, but the women would assume I did just as they'd wrongly assume I ate candy and pizza on a regular basis)...so useful to have a high schooler there to point that out for me.

venus2tinkerbell@ hi soul sista I am the same. But wonder what trs Pluto conjucnt Venus pull out of my natal Venus square Pluto... I had Pluto conjunct ascendant, sun, mercury.. Pluto is on Venus now but due to retograde it will take some time to be exact. The only difference from previous conjunctions is it is and will be opposing Saturn at the same time. 1st-7th hs.

Hi soul sis, you know Pluto has a feel to it. The themes change slightly, but Pluto's method doesn't. I think since you've had Pluto on your Ascendant, identifying and working with tPluto conjunct your Venus will be easier. Just keep telling yourself that being alert, open, and ready for the lesson is worth the struggle. The fruits are worth it.

Saturn? I have to laugh at how much Saturn perplexes and intrigues me. I couldn't say.

yeah, that's what I am thinking as well. As a matter of fact, I more or less know what the lesson will be. And I believe at the end of this transit my damaged love nature hopefully will be fixed.

The previous tr.Pluto conjunctions were hard. A lot of agony inside, dark & obsessive thoughts, max. intensity, being very intimidating, not trusting anyone, feeling insecure yet ready to chop heads off, keeping people at arm's length, feeling million miles away... changes inside & outside...

I know with Pluto instead of resisting the changes, one should go with the flow. But I could not do it. The period was more like trying acceptance but failing all the time.

I am really looking forward to the days where trs.Pluto won't be touching any planet activating my natal squares. auwww that lightness, being at peace with yourself, with the world, with existance even the thought of it is very relaxing. Yeah, those days will come !

universe saved the last dance with Pluto for Venus and Saturn Ah Saturn... Saturn, my grace and my curse...

Sis, on another thread Doux Rêve mentioned my Mars representing (in addition to sex and aggression) the type of man a woman attracts and is attracted to.

I just started paying attention to aspects to Mars and its condition, and what I find there helps with many of my unanswered Pluto Venus issues.

My ex had Venus conjunct Pluto and married a woman with a Venus-Pluto opposition. She was intensely jealous of me, the ex girlfriend, even after she had been married to him for a decade. The jealousy, possessiveness and hate was unfathomable at the time. The only way I can understand it is that on some deep and primal level, Venus-Pluto is so afraid of abandonment and loss that they perceive the other person as a threat to their very survival. Being on the receiving end is awful. I wish I had understood this then.

I agree to this totally, my ex have venus sq pluto. What's hers is hers. Seems to mind even when I'm talking to colleagues. And she'll show out that "I'm hers".

The jealousy are not simply jealousy, its more of like jealousy rage.

lol CuriousPisces. Yeah, I'm possessive. I definitely mark my territory, but where work is concerned I have learned to cool out a bit. Sometimes I don't like the work situation of my lover. But you can't fight the way someone makes their living, or how they're going about pursuing their career. I need too much independence in that arena, myself, to try and get controlling. I guess this is where I have to just decide if I trust him.

If I ever find myself acting out in a jealous rage one night- I hope I'm not too far gone to just end the relationship next day. Anger and loss of control- I'm capable of it, but it just doesn't suit me. I can't deal with the sick feeling I get in the pit of my stomach.

I have Venus trine Pluto and I don't think people should treat their partner as 'things'

Your partner does not belong to you.
They're an human being with thoughts, feelings, and their OWN lives.
They're their own person.
They >chose< to be with you, and they can choose to leave anytime.
Jealousy/possessiveness is about sense of entitlement and lack of confidence, either in your partner or in yourself.

A cheater will cheat whether you're jealous or not.

I'm a jealous person and possessive too. but I don't have venus/pluto in my natal though.

And I kinda like it when she says I'm hers. LOL! But not the jealousy rage though..
