I have a third house Venus. It's in Scorpio. So my intense feelings always had a way of being expressed verbally and in writing. I've been called "intense" more than once. When I first met my husband, we were FB chatting while each of us were at work (lol). Anyway, it was after we established we were going to be a couple and he asked, "Why me?" My reply was really long and sweet (it even surprised me) and he was like, "WOW. It's so unfair that you express feelings so easily. I can't even compete." I know he has them in there, but he's not good at expressing them with language or anything romantic. He'd prefer to stick his finger in my ear because he knows it irritates me. (Venus in H1, Aqua). ------------------ “Most people would rather be sheep than stand on their own with antlers on.” IP: Logged |

My husband has H1 Venus. I agree with you. He is British and his humor is.... different anyway. But it is very abrasive. And he dresses nice for work or going to meet with friends but leaving the house just to go to the store, he wears "humor" tee shirts and camo cargo shorts with white socks and sneakers. It's painful to watch. LOL! ------------------ “Most people would rather be sheep than stand on their own with antlers on.” IP: Logged |

I'm 12H in Leo. For me the house is more prominent, your description is so spot on Ami it made me well up..I just need so much time it frustrates me that people (men) don't see what they'll get if they take time to get to know me. I'm not a jewellery girl though..Virgo rising?..also my 12H goes into Virgo 10 degrees so maybe it's that. I like a very little and it must be understated although I'm still attracted to the bombastic Leo personality!IP: Logged |

It's just so ridiculous. He looks nice when he goes to work or when he meets friends and he's so just so handsome dressed up - (edit) Maybe I should be happy he dresses down. It's bad enough all the women fall all over him with that British accent (lol). ------------------ “Most people would rather be sheep than stand on their own with antlers on.” IP: Logged |

Yep. He's my hottie. He wears those hints of gray hair so well!! But yeah, he has a first house Venus and unless he feels like he has to look nice, he ends up looking like a hillbilly. *lol* ------------------ “Most people would rather be sheep than stand on their own with antlers on.” IP: Logged |

What do you mean?...those t-shirts ARE hilarious :-) My late husband had so many of those t-shirts I made a huge quilt out of them as I couldn't bring myself to keep them packed away...come to think of it, he also used to wear the white socks/trainer combo but with 3/4 length khaki cargo shorts :-) brilliant, just flippin brilliant! Your man is cool :-) IP: Logged |

Well the first one was a co worker at lush and the second one was a customer at a retail store I work in now, it's a place with fancy and classy clothing but a bit more affordable. They were both older though (wide Venus square Saturn?) My dad would never let me work in food, which seems like a Venus in sixth thing if you think about it ruling Taurus but he's got a stellium in his sixth house so he wants my workplace to be cleaner than that.

He is and I do love him. It's actually quite sweet about the quilt you made. I was just pointing out his first house Venus doesn't fit the description Ami wrote about his image. It doesn't mean she's wrong, my hubby probably has some other aspect I need to look into that changes the outcome. EDIT: It probably is his heavy Aquarius influence. He is a Cappy sun though. ------------------ “Most people would rather be sheep than stand on their own with antlers on.” IP: Logged |

Yes, My asc is the decan or duad Uranus. I can't remember which now. I wear boots all the time and kind of have a Uranus style and did not know why until I saw this. A strong Uranus/Aqua person will not conform to external standards lol ------------------ Want to Read Simple, Fun,Sexy Articles on Astrology? Check Me Out, DUDE. http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

He will be steady when one needs a person who is not a shallow or superficial." I'll add what I think is an important mark of a 6th Venus - work needs to be pleasant and enjoyable. If I'm going to spend 8 hours of my life somewhere it is going to be enjoyable. It has to be a sociable environment too. I'll bend the rules to make the place enjoyable. Example, I really enjoy going to the gym during my work hour. If I decide to take an extra 20-30 minutes I don't expect my boss to make a fuss about it. I'll actually be pretty offended if they make a stink about it if it has no logic to it - like about control rather than necessity. I work hard so I don't tolerate fussiness about things that don't truly matter. Work hard but I'll still demand it be a sociable, enjoyable experience when it isn't time to grind it out. I can't stand coworkers that work in fear of getting reprimanded for even the slightest indulgences. It's annoying. Just enjoy yourself and work damn it. But it's easy for the 6th house Venus to bend the rules a bit, especially a Libra one, because people like us at work. The charm flourishes.
PREACH! Took the words right out of my mouth. Work definitely needs to be pleasing and sociable for me not to feel like I'm in jail. My venus can't attract and manifest its greatest potential if I'm not having somewhat of a good time in my career. My venus is in Pisces in the 6th house, so this is even more of a necessity for me. This placement demands work that allows for the native's abstract/artistic talents and an environment that lets the venus be all charming without penalty. I have a Libra rising, so co-sign the bending of rules and getting away with it !
