I'm telling ya, Piscean men mostly fit into the half absent father stereotype. It is the one astrological stereotype that is so true it's not funny.

All of them go through some phrase of drugs and/or alcohol and might be stuck in dream land.

My first love was a pisces and I've wrote about him here at length before in other pisces men threads... but our dreamlike romance ended abruptly when he tried to commit suicide in front of me and was consequently taken to the hospital. While there I was informed by the police that he was on the run from a crime he committed in Texas and the vehicle he was driving me around in was stolen in the commission of a crime. Also I was informed of his I.V. drug addiction. That's the way my romance crashed and burned, but I would not change a moment of it as that's how beautiful time spent in love with a pisces can be.

In my experience pisces seem to end up with Earth women for longish times, though they seem to be attracted to fire personalities. They kind of recharge their batteries after burning the candle at both ends (which they excel at) by being taken care of by Earth women.

This is not to discount anyone's relationships, or to generalize the sign completely, just my own experience and observations.

I feel this applies more to moon or Venus in Pisces. Even desc in Pisces because I am one and this is how I am. How I choose to live the energy of that dream changes a lot. I may be content with waiting for a period of time, sometimes I try to make my current situation into the dream, other times I escape and live the dream on my mind or through substances, tv and books and even just fantasizing.

MY SO, is also Pisces sun and aqua mars and venus....he doesn't say a lot with me (with his friends he does) but with me its a lot on feeling and emotions. We have been separated by distance and this is so hard for me as Sag Sun, Leo moon and Libra mars and venus, I love to talk and communicate... I feel abandoned if not. (Leo moon?).
