I'm dating one. And I used to hate Pisces with a passion but he's the love of my life. I'd like to know more about Pisces men.

There's A LOT of variation between them. Even just looking at that one sign they're probably the most slippery sign of them all because they're so acutely aware at an intuitive level and adaptable. Stick a Pisces in a room full of drunks for awhile and he may come off as drunk himself despite not having had a drop to drink (though if others are drinking then he'll probably drink as well). Heck, they could be called the chameleons of the zodiac because they tend to absorb and reflect the energy around them so a Pisces among charity workers will likely be among the most charitable while a Pisces trapped among the predators of society may very well become a shark himself. He may not want to in either case, but it would be swimming against the tide to hold onto who he really is.

And they can be slippery. Fish need to swim, and (metaphorically speaking) if you try to hold one in your hand they have an instinct to jump back into the water. In more practical terms, don't smother them or they'll almost certainly swim away as fast as they can.

Again, that's speaking strictly of Pisces energy.

And Pisces at their best (swimming up) bring dreams to reality, but at their worst (swimming down) lose themselves to dreams that can ruin their lives.

From my experience Pisces influenced men carry at least one of these traits - erratic, wonderfully kind, imaginative, aloof

But as you know he's more than his Sun sign

Possibly the trickiest sign of the zodiac. Pisces is two fishes; one swimming in the realm of fantasy, the other in reality. Grounded his knows the difference but like dwelling in both. Ungrounded, he can't tell what's what and gets the two confused.

Pisces is one of the great sexual predators of the zodiac. Unlike a classic predator who will pursue, Pisces will lure you to him. Loaded with charm, touch, & finesse he's nearly irresistible on the hunt. He will project an image of someone docile, easy to snag & screw.

Yeah, he's so kind. I'm just so confused as to why he's with me because he's a Virgo moon and we got together rather quickly. Everyday we tell each other how much we love one another. He's a Pisces Venus, too. I'm just so inexperienced with Pisces. Outside of our relationship I see more Virgo but with me we're very affectionate with each other. I've never been with someone so loving! But he's still so mysterious to me!

Clingy. All of them. UNLESS they have heavy aquarius. If they get mad and leave you can pretty much guarantee they will be back. Also, some (not all) can get very jealous and a little skitzy. You won't see it right away but it's there.

dunno, i know this one guy .. pretty ******* sure we were married in a past life from the energy that gets passed between us.

but anyways. string of gfs lasting 4-6 months. had one serious one that broke his heart (they have a kid together) and after that just gf after gf. his first love (pre baby mama) the break up had him attempt suicide ffs. now no one knows really what he's aiming for when he goes out. whether he's looking for a proper girl to wife up (he's mid thirties now) or if he's just going fishing and see how it goes.

loves to know everyone's business and kinda slag them off for it but doesn't tell anyone much of his private feelings or anything like that. i catch glimpses of it though but in the end he covers it up real quick. definitely the 'all up in his feelings' type under all that bad boy lover boy thing he's going .

at the end of the day though - great father, great friend, great family member. all around good guy.

nobody's perfect.

Kurt Kobain!

No but seriously, as a Pisces woman, I have to say Pisces are awesome :-) I don't know too many Pisces men however. But one friend I have who is a Pisces man is a super nice guy, and a musician, and is really smart! Another Pisces man I'm friends with is also super nice, a little sensitive, and I think he's a big romantic.

Good for you, everyone should give all signs a chance, never understood the I hate certain signs. Every sign works differently for every chart holder, but there is some traits that seem to occur much more frequently for each sign.

First it depends, because Pisces can be a strong Pisces or have Aries, Aquarius strong too, plus Mars can be in any sign, this can change a man quite a bit. One thing is all Pisces are sensitive (this doesn't always mean emotions, it means how they react to stimuli and situations, it will always be heighten in some way) even the ones who pretend they're not. So if you're not use to the sensitivity, it can be a problem. Another thing, all Pisces have a different interior life than they project, lots of stuff going on behind the scenes, for Pisces men this is doubly so -- this is the World they go to when working things out, they like to go here a lot. Since society tends not to accept the yin in them, most Pisces men keep this area close to the heart. Those are a few things I have seen in all Pisces regardless of chart.

As far as the stereotypes of addiction, unreliable, and flapping all over the place this is exclusively chart based. Not all Pisces has these characteristics.

Yes.. He "is" the Piscean poster boy!

Although there is a guy named "Neptune" out there who might challenge him for the title one day!

He is astrology-illiterate at the moment though, so he doesn't know he is the "chosen one" as yet haha http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum24/HTML/231393.html

Pisces will befriend you first before dropping hints that he's interested, whether it's a guy or a girl. They can be fake too just to avoid conflict and hurting others.

I thought he was an officemate, classmate, etc. anyone that you knew beforehand. If you guys met in a public place like in a mall, then asking the girl out is expected to be able to get to know each other. If you did not start out as friends first, then he isn't the typical Pisces.

Emotional rollercoasters, sweet but even more sensitive than most water sign women. Promiscuous unless they want something else, and contrary to popular belief Pisces knows what they want. They might be slow in getting it but they know what their goal is and I believe they are very goal oriented people. I know two Mars in Pisces men who rose to positions of power pretty easily and quickly.

Why do Pisces, in particular, like to be friends before they are lovers?

I met him online and we were acquaintances probably more than friends for that week. Then he asked me to be his girlfriend a couple days after I told him I had a crush on him. I move very fast! We live in different countries so hanging out to get to know each other wasn't an option.

I've met different Pisceans from the very positive, to the toxic.

One thing they all have in common is that - they are really interesting people.
If you have a curiosity about human psychology, you will never get bored with a Pisces bf --- not only because you can have really interesting conversations with him --- but also because purely in virtue of *who* he is... getting close to him is kind of like reading 10 different psychology books all at once.

My first looove was a Pisces Sun, Moon, Merc and Venus.

And he was drop dead gorgeous.. I think he knew it.

It only lasted about a year and a half- we were so

young and he was soo irresponsible (which I took personally)

that I left him.

But for the most part, we got along really well.

Very easy energy to be around (huge for me), and just fun.

I highly recommend.

What's your Sun/Moon? And what's his Moon?

Venus? Etc?

I think it's because we want to be sure that we really know the person before we commit to them. Rather than getting to know them as a couple, then getting annoyed once the annoying trait unravels, and then drop them like a hot potato because I didn't know them well enough before entering in a relationship. Not cool, right? I notice that the guys think that way too when a fellow Pisces happened to be interested in me. He befriended me first. He wasn't my type though, and he sensed it when he attempted to ask me out, hehe.

That's a tricky one. If he's a teen, that's common. Look at his chart too, he might have planets in Aries or Gemini or Saggitarius.

He's 37, 16 years older than me...
He has Neptune in Sagittarius, Jupiter in Gemini. What does that mean?

@ Eirlys
I'm an Aquarius sun, with a Cancer-Leo cusp Moon; he's a Virgo Moon, and a Pisces Venus.

The age gap is huge! Lol. I think since you're from different countries, unless he intends to visit you, then you just take this one lightly. Most guys also "give in" easily if a girl that they find attractive is interested in them.

In my experience with the 3 Pisces men who I have been in serious relationships with...
They fall in love quickly and weave such a lovely, dreamy romantic spell.. it makes you feel so special until you find out that he did the same with the girl before you, and the one before her... etc. And omg, there is always such a long, complicated chain of women in his wake. Not as complicated as Scorpio or Cancer, but that's bc Pisces doesn't stay parked as long as the other two do.

They are the sweetest, most considerate, romantic men EVER. I mean this is the guy who will rub your back when you have cramps, drive in the night when you have cravings, watch movies with you for 45 hours straight when you're disgusted with the world at large... he will be your very best friend and emerge/entwine himself into your life so easily and thoroughly that you'll wonder how you ever got along without him.
And the sex is so dreamy, not as steamy as Scorpio, but definitely sweeter and more romantic. This guy is ruled by Neptune after all...

So then there's the secrets. Again like Scorpio except in my experience Scorpios secrets seem to revolve around sex and obsession, whereas Pisces revolves more around; drugs, excess, duplicity and lies.
Pisces and lying are often words found in the same sentence. I asked my Pisces daughter about this and she said it's never meant to hurt, but more so to PREVENT hurt. But me being a Sag wonders why you have to protect me from anything had you been honest in the first place.

My first love was a pisces and I've wrote about him here at length before in other pisces men threads... but our dreamlike romance ended abruptly when he tried to commit suicide in front of me and was consequently taken to the hospital. While there I was informed by the police that he was on the run from a crime he committed in Texas and the vehicle he was driving me around in was stolen in the commission of a crime. Also I was informed of his I.V. drug addiction. That's the way my romance crashed and burned, but I would not change a moment of it as that's how beautiful time spent in love with a pisces can be.

In my experience pisces seem to end up with Earth women for longish times, though they seem to be attracted to fire personalities. They kind of recharge their batteries after burning the candle at both ends (which they excel at) by being taken care of by Earth women.

This is not to discount anyone's relationships, or to generalize the sign completely, just my own experience and observations.
