I have to much damn air to be honest. However, I wonder is having a air void that bad? I can see that it could make people trip up on their words or thoughts, especially with a mercury in pisces or something like that. In my opinion, too much air can make you airy or dare I say it an "Airhead". Always stuck in your thoughts.

The only planet I have in Air is my Mercury. Does that sort of count as an Air Void?

Yes, similar to one, K. What do you think about it?

I dated (still friends, talk regularly) someone who

is Air void, for the better part of four years.

He's predominantly Earth, but his 5th House is packed..

six planets, including Sun (Virgo) and Moon (Leo).

He liked to live "off the grid" and could (maybe) be

called a non-conformist.

He wasn't out in left field, by any means, nor did he

lack AT ALL, when it came to thinking outside the box

or spiritually.. his thinking was pretty profound in

that area.

But delightfully to the point, sans complicated, detailed

non-essential fluff.

And women love him. lol

Men.. not so much-- but those who *do* like him, are friends

for life, and have stayed in touch regardless what part of

the country he (or they) happen to be in, atm.

One of the best and most interesting people I've met in my life.

Hands down.

I notice that people with low air lack curiosity. I got a job at a company with an air void friend once. When I started working at that company he had been working there for almost 2 years. I asked him alot of questions about the company and his response to every question was "IDK". Within a week I knew more about the company and what was going on there than he knew after being there for nearly 2 years. Why? Because I was curious and sought out information. He just wanted to go and do his own job and collect a paycheck and didn't care about things that didn't directly affect him.

IMO curiosity is what creates intelligence, air people are generally regarded as intelligent. It's kind of like working out. You have to work out to have a fit body and get big muscles. It's the same with your brain. You have to work-out your brain to become intelligent. Being curious and seeking out new information is how you work out your brain. Being curious comes natural to air people. It would not come naturally to an earthy person that is an air void IMO.

I've pluto libra air singleton. I think a lot, maybe to compensate and am very curious (but Alice conjunct sun). the Fire / water / earth are natural and familiar even if not always easily accessed but air is different - it's where I seem to or try to land, like everything circuits back there but with a tediousness or compulsiveness to it. Bit like having lots of locks on this one door because I feel vulnerable there.

Edited as wanted to explain better because I think a singleton might be distinct from voids.

If I'm sad, I'm not just feeling sad, I'm thinking about why. A lot.
Happy? Why, what is this feeling, where are the boundaries to it, am I really happy? AD infinitium until I'm not as happy.
Throws of passion? Am I really enjoying this, are they enjoying, what do I/they want. My thoughts complete.y monopolise any state / experience and I won't let anything alone as emotional / physical. I know everyone has a running commentary but this really interferes with my experiences and I think it's both an intense funnelling of the energy and not a natural employment of the energy as an air sign might experience.

I wouldn't consider having only Mercury in Air a void.

As far as planets go I have Venus in Libra and I am so very grateful for it. It really lightens up my personality and sociable touch when inside I really just feel like the Scorpio Sun/Cappy Moon person. But then again Sun is also in the 7th.

I've only got one out airy planet-Libra Pluto but in my second house. I should be considered a boring and very practical.. However, I am very curious, in different way.I don't like to get into the crowded to see what happened at the street. I am not curious about those things. I got bored easily sometimes. I blame on Moon conjuct Uranus in 3rd house, trine 11th Mars. I think air void should include placement with no planets in airy house(3rd,7th,11th house).

Air is light. I like that about it.

I'm an air void (weak Gemini moon in 12th house) very big on Earth. I don't know what you're asking for specifically?

I unintentionally am drawn to Air people; my friends are almost all air (Sun in Sagittarius though).

I have to make an effort to keep it cool and diplomatic, when people are dishonest/uunethical and get on my nerves that way.

I don't think it makes one less curious, just not as likely to spill what they know.

I am very curious about topics that interest me, but companies do not usually fall into that category
I used to spend hours reading about random things every day in high school, only because I was curious and interested. However, I find small talk with acquaintances to be draining - unless it's about actually getting to know them, or something else that interests me.

*I'm an air void btw.. BUT maybe all the fire makes up for it? More intensely passionate about several things than interested in a little of everything. But trying new things is a favorite of mine, so there's that.

Im very curious about how other people with air void feel about it!!

I have no planet in air sign or air house!
and I have a singleton mercury in saggitarius.

Im very curious, too much actualy,Im too aware of all the possibilities around me I cant fix my mind on anything and I think and overanalyze way too much...
But the lightness that air brings, I dont have it and I feel like something is lacking some sort of connection between all my thoughts and sides of my personnality and difficulties to express what I have in my mind. Among other things I blame on my lack of air...

Whoa.. this explains so much! Conversations with some of my air void friends are frustrating for this reason.

Air-void Friend: <drops big news, in a laconic word or two>

Me : <all excited, dozens of questions>

AV : <dunno>

Me : <well didn't you feel like asking them anything?>

AV : <shrugs>

@LaceyLeigh,
Maybe.. But you know, the ones I know (unless they have planets in Scorp or Sag), simply do not have the urge to know. They don't care either way, as long as it is not of their immediate concern.

A bit of an addendum to the theory would be: curiosity might be generated by planets in Scorp or Sag (different kinds of curiosity).

But, if it is a mix of non-air planets without either of those two, curiosity is aroused only in situations/people of a personal interest to the AV subject in question.

ETA: I wish I could be like this, helps with being *centered* and calm. A certain peace of mind. Curiosity killed the cat. :/

Will be back a bit later to study the posts.
I am an earth Void and understanding the Voids really opens up your chart to you!
