Sometimes, the voids have weird twists. You see this by doing many, many, many charts. That is the ONLY way to learn! The earth void is not good with the practical world, but money comes easily to them. I love Unaspected Planets, too! ------------------ Want to Read Simple, Fun,Sexy Articles on Astrology? I know an Air Void She attracts a lot of Aquarius people (like myself) She does well in school and in life in general.I do feel that she could have trouble grasping abstract concepts and theoretically speaking about things. Also, she's stuck in her old ways of thinking and seeing things from different perspectives is EXTREMELY hard for her. IP: Logged |

I'm not Air Void but I'm kinda low on Air (Gemini Mars in the 11th house trine North Node in Aquarius in the 7th house). Air is definitely my least favorite element. I'm not into superficial, fake friendships/relationships, I keep my circle small. IP: Logged |

Within a week I knew more about the company and what was going on there than he knew after being there for nearly 2 years. Why? Because I was curious and sought out information. He just wanted to go and do his own job and collect a paycheck and didn't care about things that didn't directly affect him.
I'd be like that a few days but after that just no. Won't he get bored??! I mean I would be him if I was depressed or if I wanted to get out of there but to live his entire life like that, at a place he spends most of his time at... IP: Logged |

I know only 3 people with air void. They have trouble expressing their thoughts and also are not intellectuals. Just not interested in the global scale of life. The traveling to other places is also very limited. None of three ppl I mentioned has traveled outside of the country and very limited trips outside of the state they live in. They are very down to earth thou. No pun intended. IP: Logged |

But the lightness that air brings, I dont have it and I feel like something is lacking some sort of connection between all my thoughts and sides of my personnality and difficulties to express what I have in my mind. Among other things I blame on my lack of air...
so am I a weird air void person?! or is it because Im sagittarius and its considered air/fire?

Shrug. None of the things mentioned so far about air void applies to me, and I don't have air in my chart. Curiosity, check. Desire to learn new things, acquire new skills, thirst for knowledge, check - I've self-taught myself quite a few things. Travel and living in new countries/places, check.......etc... IP: Logged |

My retro sag merc is in the 12th house, conjunct sun and uranus (wide), sextile MC. In my limited experiences, the voids don't quite show that clearly (at least to me). I suppose it's because of the aspects and house placements...etc.. There are small things I notice, like fire void people I know tend to not get angry easily, unless they have a fair bit of mars energy. Earth void people don't seem to care much about the practical stuff, unless they have serious saturn influence, or a full 10th house...etc.. I don't know any other air void, so can't comment much on that. IP: Logged |

I have no air planets, but I have planets in 7th and 11th, as well as heavy Merc & Uranus aspects. Would that count as having at least some air influence?IP: Logged |

Yes, Muddy, things can modify things, for sure. That is why an entire chart takes me 5 days lolI am an earth void but have Saturn trine Mars and am super disciplined like I went on a 30 day juice fast and do other disciplined kinds of things and enjoy the challenge lol ------------------ Want to Read Simple, Fun,Sexy Articles on Astrology? I have Jupiter in Libra 1st house and Saturn in Aquarius 5th house. But based off of what most of ya'll were saying I find myself to be quite curious and stuff. BUT I do feel that my social grace does is not as smooth as it should be. I hate small talk. I'm just super awkward. IP: Logged |

I only have one planet of Air, Jupiter in Libra. My birth chart is mostly water, but to be lucky (Jupiter), I need to follow the principles of Libra. I need to be indecisive, let others decide, and maintain balance and equality in situations. And this overwhelms me a lot. IP: Logged |

guy i have an 🤷♀️ with is an air void in western in vedic he's an earth void except jupiter (i'm a water void in western air void in vedic except jupiter) and he's intelligent and curioushe'll spend tons of time researching and learning things that interest him or that he comes across, and he always seeks answers out, questions stuff etc he does have a difficult time with communication though, he can have a really hard time reaching out or saying things particularly in regard to feelings or **** that's going on, he can get very withdrawn and quiet (listens very well though) i actually find it easier to communicate with him than my earth void (fire void in vedic) ex though, like i'm able to talk to him and reach an understanding or compromise etc fairly easily nearly all the time (when one can't be reached we can agree to drop it and move on) and i don't feel like i'm banging my head against a wall trying to get to a place that makes sense (this was how **** was with my ex, just never ******* got anywhere terrible communication had to just drop things constantly or fight with no end or resolution) IP: Logged |

I only have pluto in libra, but 3planets in 7th house and sun and venus conjunct mercury. I can't say that I recognize any of the descriptions here. Most of my friens are aquarius suns or ascendants or mars in gemini, and I'm considered the one in my circle of friends most curious about the world (lots of long distance travel, politics and foreign relations interest). I'm also extremely communicative. I also have a job that is quite cerebral and requires a lot intellectual analysis. So i do think aspects and house placements can modify natal charts that are air void or lack air to some extend. However, what I definitely do notice in myself is an impatience with abstract concepts. I hated computer science at school and while I got good grades in advanced philosophy I found it somewhat tedious. IP: Logged |

I am very much Air Void except for Saturn in Aquarius. However, my sun is in an air house (11th, so also relating to Aqua) and Neptune/Uranus conjunction + Lilith in the 7th. Otherwise, only minor points/placements in air (Ceres in Aqua H7, East Point and Fortune in Gemini).Otherwise my chart is entirely earth/fire/water, pretty evenly balanced. I never really FELT Air Void because I always identified with my intellect and intellectual performance (like academics, etc), was interested in philosophy, read and collect books, etc... It wasn't until I became older and more self-aware that I realized how completely emotional, intuitive, and subjective I am. Overall I feel I strongly lack OBJECTIVITY and struggle to detach myself emotionally from situations. Especially with Cancer ascendant and Pisces Mars, I have always moved through the world emotionally and perceived everything through an emotional lens. However, I do very well with abstract concepts and "big picture" thinking, not so much the details. I'm also very well-traveled. However I would say that all my "intellectual" activities and interests are mainly so because of their EMOTIONAL content/connections. When I think back, the "cold" intellectual subjects were the ones I wasn't good at or interested in. I identify with what Eirlys said, especially due to Taurus placements: quote: He liked to live "off the grid" and could (maybe) be called a non-conformist... spiritual.. But delightfully to the point, sans complicated, detailed non-essential fluff.
aquaguy91 - I would say actually that curiosity is one of my primary drivers. But I think that has more to do with my Aries Mercury seeking intellectual challenge. And I am otherwise an earthy person. But I bet probably that one person you're thinking of had an earth Mercury. I would think fire Mercuries are very curious. As Selenite pointed out, a lot of fire would make up for a lack of air as far as curiosity goes. I agree with LL: quote: I don't think it makes one less curious, just not as likely to spill what they know.
I have a strong sense of privacy and would certainly not gossip in the office. Just because someone doesn't tell you something, doesn't mean they don't know. Also, my father who has all personal planets in Libra except for his moon, is not curious AT ALL. He is an intellectual in terms of his profession, but he is never curious about other people or what is happening in their lives. Not curious in a social way, I guess. He just follows the news and does his same "intellectual" hobbies over and over (like crossword puzzles). However I think this has more to do with his very stoic and private upbringing. I don't think it's accurate to say air voids are not curious... maybe if someone is just ALL earth. But I think water placements make people very interested in other people, maybe just in a more emotional/psychological/spiritual way. Fire placement seem to make people more curious. IP: Logged |
