Now, he is being sort of distant and said he feels bad because he usually has control over his emotions and desires, but he lost it on Saturday. Is this normal for a Capricorn Moon? I'm feeling really upset about him acting distant.
[/B}

i'm cap moon and venus in scorpio too

and i'm gonna tell you what i think this is which is = he's being hypercritical of himself and withdrawing because he doesn't approve of how he acts.

i don't know, but i hate it when i loose control .. unfortunately it happens too often even when i'm having fun or enjoying myself. after all is done and i'm on the way home i play things back frame by frame analysing how i acted, how people reacted and make a list of things i got to change. and sometimes i end up causing myself to be embarrassed of silly little things that others probably don't notice but i do and i want to never see them again because it reminds me of how i acted that time and now embarrassed i am of that behaviour and the fact that i lost control and let me self act like that.

it's a bit much i know but thats what i think it might be

This is so me, everyday! I still think about events that happened months and even years ago that may seem insignificant but that I can't help feeling stupid about. We cap moons focus way too much on what others think about us!

Anyways, @polkadotstars, I haven't got much to add since there are already so many wonderful responses here. I just wanted to say that while I definitely agree with Odette about Pisces and Capricorn moons, you have yours in the eighth which adds a dose of scorpio that will help since cap moons and scorp moons are one of the best astro matches, in my opinion. Your moon-jupiter conjunction is lovely as well.

Like all earth signs, capricorn moon wants to feel safe and that comes from having control. By giving him space and not making him feel embarrassed about sharing his emotions (just be normal and make him see that it's no big deal), he'll eventually feel 'safe' around you. It can be a long process though! But we're usually worth the wait

^ That's true! Scorpio Moon is my best match, on a Moon level. I've never actually met a Pisces Moon person with their Moon in the 8th... that might work

I've always thought it was strange how Pisces/Scorpio are very compatible.. and Capricorn/Scorpio are also very compatible.. but Capricorn/Pisces feels out of sync. Scorpio understands both these signs, but they often don't understand each other.

Isn't astrology funny how it works? I always think how could Scorpio be compatible with Aries when my Pisces gets very bothered with Aries lol!

Yes, I don't know why but I love Capricorn energy. I love that they are practical and reliable. Something feels like "at home" with them. Maybe there's something in my natal chart that indicates this. My ex had a lot of Capricorn in his chart and it was very comforting. I'm not sure if Capricorn moon energy is different though..

So with that reasoning I was able to come to his estimated birth time :-)

Ah, well see that changes things. You can scratch everything I said involving his Moon.

I guess I assumed that you had a time of birth or you would not have made a synastry chart for the two of you. Synastry is a no-go for things like the Asc and Moon until you have a time of birth. Astrology is complex enough without the factor of guesswork added in.

So find out his time of birth. If he behaves like a Moon in Cap, he's probably a Moon in Cap. However, depending on his exact location and time of birth, the Moon in mid-Aqua could be similar to being in Capricorn by making a parallel with Saturn in mid-Scorpio. Probably not, based on your assumed data for him. But until you have his exact data, it is best not to make assumptions IF you want the real scoop on the synastry.

Then your experience is too limited. Plus your "you" statement is directed at a person with Sun-Moon-Mercury in Pisces. Think about that. Its about her here -- not him.

So trust that and ignore doubters. I also have Moon in Capricorn and I can say just here, my response to you is very positive and natural. There probably is something in your chart that makes for natural compatibility with many Moon-in-Cap types.

This could have to do with Uranus, the planet in most extreme southern declination at 22S52, possibly being parallel the Moon position of some of these people. The Moon is at its extreme of southern declination in Capricorn/Sag. That parallel aspect made between the other person's Moon and your Uranus is just as strong and positive as a conjunction and is a quick, 'best friends' type aspect that is often found in the synastry of very compatible long-term friends and spouses.

I'd like to thank PlutoandCap, Astra, and Charlie for weighing in. And SaturnFan, you too. I hope I haven't left anyone out! I've really appreciated your feedback. It's been really helpful in understanding my Cap Moon "friend."

I'm going to sneakily try to ask what his birth time is. Any suggestions?? I feel awkward asking him! Haha! I had mentioned my birth time to him before and he said "How do you know your birth time?" So I don't think he knows his own.

Thank you all so much for your input. You are all so helpful!

Is he on good terms with his parents? Couldn't he just ask his mum? At least that would give you an approximate time, if not exact.

Does he know you're into astrology?

Well my first love and boyfriend of six years had both his Sun and Moon in Pisces (and my own Mercury is in Pisces!)... and I still feel like my Moon and his Moon were(are) quite incompatible.

Then there are my two step brothers, past friends, my more recent Pisces Moon ex and also a handful of people online (who responded to my energy in a way that could only be called "weird", including two on LL)... *plus* there are others I have asked (re: their own Cap/Pisces Moon experiences) - who have given me similar feedback.

I know that this is still a small sample of people... but I'm sticking to my story - because (in my experience) these Moon signs can have some serious issues.

However... every individual is different - so one placement will not make or break a relationship. And I think barbriallen made a good point about polkadot's Moon being in the 8th house (which could improve their compatibility).

I also love Pisces energy and generally get along well with Pisces everywhere (other than the Moon).
I still have very strong feelings for Pisces Mooners - don't get me wrong. But I cannot for the life of me, deal with them.

OMG! I knew it!!! lol

But it's probably square his Pluto... right? Or is it a very large orb?
I think this aspect: Moon square Pluto - would explain his childhood.

It's a good thing that it's in Aquarius... because (despite what some astrologers may tell you) - Aqua Moon is much more compatible with Pisces Moon

Ha, yes! His Moon squares his pluto at a 5 orb. He definitely has a hard time feeling emotions, he has said he doesn't have a heart. I guess this is an Aquarius trait too? I always thought this was a Cap Moon trait. Why are they so similiar??

I don't know...

Capricorn Moon is very critical.
Aquarius Moon is more laid back...

Capricorn Moon tends to take things very seriously (just about everything!). Aquarius Moon can 'let it go" - They don't take things to heart.

Capricorn Moon will hold a grudge for a lifetime. Even if they "forgive", they never forget. They (I should say "we") have the memory of an elephant LoL
Aquarius Moon is a very friendly placement and they would normally allow anyone back into their lives - after a "falling out".

See, this is why its important to do Moon/chart-specific astrology with at least a general time of day. Moon in late evening in early Aqua puts it at about 23 south declination, parallel possibly to both Uranus and Neptune at 22 south.

Hi polkadotstars,

It makes sense that he's an Aqua Moon because that put's his Moon in your 7th house.

Aqua Moons, like Cap Moons, don't like to lose their objectivity. It makes them feel out of control which they don't like. Aqua's also like to feel they are doing he right thing by every individual they meet. So maybe he feels he crossed some kind of line with you too quickly.

Yeah when I make his chart for later in the evening, my Descendent is conjunct his moon. I really wish I had his birth time. We do get along very well and I love the fact that we share our deep secrets with each other already.

This is true. When I asked him about it later, he said he didn't want to cross the line or make me feel uncomfortable.

Additionally, I'm wondering if there is a connection due to the fact his Venus is Scorpio and I have a stellium (Pisces, moon, and Mercury) in my 8th house. Men are attracted to who acts like their Venus right?
