11I always had a fear that a group would make me do what I didn't want from peer pressure, like bully someone. So far, it has not happened but I did not join a sorority in college because I did not think I was strong enough, then, to stand up to peer pressure.

Interesting. Pluto is also in my 11th and I never felt it like that. It's actually the other way around for me. I never give in to pressure. I defy anyone who tries to put pressure on me or try to force me into something. I am quite fearless. I suppose Pluto sign and aspects make the difference here. IP: Logged |

Pluto also aspects almost all of my planets, so it makes me intense in almost everything i do. I'm pretty all or nothing with most things in my life, and this is also true with my communication which is ruled by the 3rd house. I either love talking to someone or I don't want to waste my time on them. I hate superficial conversations unless I feel a connection with someone and feel like it'll lead to a deeper relationship with them. I also love to research things intensely and will be almost obsessive with any of my interests.
I'm obsessive with all of my interests, too. 3H Libra Pluto aspects most of my splash chart; Pluto trine Aquarius Mercury and Gemini Mars. Sounds like I am much more sociable, and predictably so, if you look at our placements. My interactions aren't so much about forging bonds as learning and exploring. I like talking to everyone about all kinds of things and will even listen through boring monologues for all sorts of reasons, if only because I like the way people's faces light up when they finally have someone's undivided attention. Also, listening gets people to reveal their secrets.

I have Pluto in my 9th.I guess I do have very strong beliefs and can sway peoples opinions rather easily. I currently have Pluto transiting my 1st house, and I feel that very strongly. I feel like I can see through people much easier. Like some else posted, I do also feel like I intimidate people, but I also have Moon sq Pluto, so it has always been that way. IP: Logged |

Yes. Pluto is in my 4th house and my childhood home was a source of pain, violence and psychological torture; all the dark sides of Pluto. IP: Logged |

Good question. I noticed that people, especially superiors, seem to think of me as more capable than I feel I am. It also seems like I am sort of "pushed" into higher positions than I actually aim for, and if I tell people I don`t WANT to make a career, they don`t understand. I also think that people can`t really read me in a public context, but I seem to give the impression of being quite efficient though also being able to be a little diplomatic (MC in Libra I guess). Personally I try to stay away from authorities, without real reason I am suspicious of anyone in a position of power, they make me uncomfortable, though they seem to have a certain liking for me often. (and I often think that is cause they donīt really know me. lol) Also I am fairly easy going and accepting, unless something is against one of my sacred principles or if I think something is really important, then I seem to be able to shut people up with just one look (once or twice I got annoyed by people lining up behind me, because they rudely invaded my personal space, and I was just staring at them, half unconscious still musing if I should say something, when the woman looked at me totally startled and suddenly blurted out: "Jeez, the way you are looking at me. What did I do?" Or when I was younger a guy threatened my brother with a knife, and I made him hand over the knife just by the way I was staring at him; well actually he might have been more shocked that i actually wrapped my hand around the blade of the knife. lol And if pupils are misbehaving and I am genuinely annoyed, most of the time I just have to give them THE look, and that is enough. i never have to yell or things like that, a silent look is so much more effective, if I mean it at least. On the other hand, though I am hardly aware of it, I seem to be able to convince people of doing things, though I never do it consciously. But my classteacher once pointed out how unusual it was that an 12 year old girl was able to persuade the whole class, just by what I was saying apparently, to organize a fair and to give ALL the money to a charity for kids who have cancer, which at that time had gotten to my attention and affected me) I suppose Pluto in 10th does have its strengths. lol Though I am hardly aware of it really. I've had similar experiences. I've learned not to take it personally and come to understand that I'm carrying this archetypal energy and it's not me personally. It's intimidating and difficult for many people, particularly people who are unconscious of their Pluto, and that's what triggers discomfort in them. I've also noticed a pattern of meeting people just when they're needing to or are going through significant changes in their lives. It seems that Pluto is there to assist people in this way. For example, when I volunteered in an animal shelter, I quickly became one of the board members and they wanted me to manage their finances. This could be Pluto right?
Sunnya, you raise a good point! As you have a strong sense of identity, you're not in danger of losing your identity within a group setting, which can happen when a person's identity is weak or in the case of a very young person. On the contrary, you're able to express Pluto's power for the benefit of others, and it sounds like you're doing very well. IP: Logged |

Pluto in 12HI am exceptionally curious, always feeling the need to dig in the deep dark areas of life. Also have an intense curiosity as to how a human mind works. Empathetic and intuitive. Am able to pick up what others are feeling most of the time. I tend to "want to" push myself to experience the trauma of life so I can keep evolving. Experience and share. Sometimes I would get intense dreams that may help me heal in ways. I also have a hard time expressing my inner turmoils and demons while growing up. Not sure if it has to with this aspect, but I keep my true self hidden at most times until I am sure that I can trust you. I trust my intuition and feelings most of the time. IP: Logged |

end of 8th House, Cancer Cusp. Pluto Leo Needing to learn self-mastery, overcome the fear of using my power and to express my opinions and feelings and the penetrating power of my deep perceptions and intuitions-- to help make this a better world to be in. Without this mastery, my input is missing along with a chance for others to evolve (as I grow and evolve). This is an ability I must balance with gentle careful fairness, through a sense of humility, dignity, and not closing up my mind to other people's ideas but incorporate and synthesize it all... to be 'shared' as a positive force for change in doing my part to help shape this world into a better place to Be. (Pluto LEO trine NN-GC SAG H1) Pluto mini-trine with H7 Mercury-sn sextile Pluto, Pluto sextile Neptune H10. Pluto semi-sextiles with Moon 9th and with Jupiter Uranus 8th. Moon sextiles Jupiter Uranus. Harsh config that adds challenge to this chart is a 'Pluto square to Saturn Scorpio-rx', with that Saturn H11 opposite to Venus 5th. IP: Logged |

Pluto is said to be the planet where we face some really tough ego issues. The house where Pluto is placed shows where you are likely to have some very interesting psychological developments and/or issues. Pluto is the realization of the Ego's power and how one wants to command and be the ship of their own destiny. It doesn't play nice and isn't about niceties. So when placed in social houses(3rd,7th and 11th) , it kinda makes the areas of life for that person kinda challenging. Because the individual refuses to play with others. And wants complete dominion over the issues of that house- or the very least themselves. Its not unusual for these people to have to deal with issues of separation and loneliness. And feeling "castrated" from others. My Pluto is in 7th- the house of intimate exchanges and one on one partnerships. I tend to come across "domineering" in one on one social contacts and find it hard to be a social butterfly; prefer keeping minimum company really. Or focusing on one person at a time. To those who have sensitive water placements, this they love. But for others(especially airy ones), I come across too "serious" etc. Its interesting to also note that where Pluto is placed, is where you are likely to experience betrayal or some kind of upheaval of some kind. A friend of mine has Pluto in 3rd and has a challenging relationship with his brother: His brother always goes behind his back and "tells" on him to their mother. Another one has Pluto in 4th and has issues with the way his parents brought him up. He is convinced that there were times that his parents could have done a better job of handling certain situations. But chose not to. So he often calls them out for their misguided actions and the subsequent hurt he suffered. I on the other hand, have not been cheated on. But I don't imagine taking it well if it were to happen. I tend to expect my partner to be absolutely loyal to me; body and soul

Thanks for sharing your insight, @Aries23Degrees. I too have Pluto in the 7H, and what you described really fits. I haven't actually had a meaningful romantic relationship yet, and idk if this is Pluto frustrating me or if it's frustrating Pluto. Doesn't help that Pluto rules the 7H itself and that transit Saturn is right on Pluto's neck.IP: Logged |

In the 5th, and it just sits there, doing nothing of consequence. But, there is something to what Ceridwen said about being seen as possessing more of whichever quality Pluto is suppossed to amplify than we actually feel we have. It drives me crazy to hear my friends and family calling me creative when I don't feel I have a single creative bone in my body. IP: Logged |
