#LoveWins I knew it would happen! Venus and Jupiter did their thing. Is there anything else in our skies that made for this historic ruling? IP: Logged |

Lmfao! Cause the Moon is/was in Libra when the supreme court ruled as well, Libra rules relationships, partnerships and marriages. Moon just now changed to Scorpio at 1:57PM EST But I still think the Moon transit may play a small role in this. IP: Logged |

David, I was just going to create a thread on this, so thank you! This is an example of "diachronic patterning" that Rick Tarnas talks about in Cosmos and Psyche. Basically, this means similar correlations that happen through time, during succeeding planetary cycles - in this case, the Uranus-Pluto cycle. Civil rights issues are prominent during this cycle, and marriage equality is a major civil rights issue of the current cycle. "Justice Anthony Kennedy, writing on behalf of the court, said the hope of gay people intending to marry 'is not to be condemned to live in loneliness, excluded from one of civilization's oldest institutions. They ask for equal dignity in the eyes of the law. The Constitution grants them that right.'" Hurrah!!!! IP: Logged |

A surprising and monumental decision in which LOVE WINS! Another example of what the Uranus-Pluto square brews up, which the current Venus-Jupiter trine Uranus aspect helped fulfill. Freedom! It is appropriate today that the Sun at 5* Cancer is conjunct the USA natal Venus (3*) -Jupiter(6*)conjunction, and Mars in the second degree of Cancer is rapidly approaching conjunction to the US natal Venus. This is fulfillment of the long-running progression in the USA chart of Pluto contra-parallel natal Venus at 23N31. For added interest, here are the active progressed aspects of the 21SAG04 USA chart that I use: - prog MC 21N44 Parallel natal Uranus 21N45, orb 01'= one minute arc - pr Pluto 23S31 Contra-parallel n Venus 23S32 in 7th house, orb 01' - pr Mercury/ruler natal 9th Bi-quintile pr Neptune, orb 03' - pr Saturn trine n Venus, orb 01' - pr Neptune sextile pr N.Node 26CAN08 in last degree of 7th house, orb 01' These last two aspects suggest the matter is settled. Today I celebrate with you all LOVE and its natural human expression, PARTNERSHIP. http://www.nytimes.com/2015/06/27/us/supreme-court-same-sex-marriage.html?_r=0 A monumental day, and I expect a monument to this event will be erected. ------------------

The positive of Pluto-Uranus Cycles lifts up Human Rights Consciousness to higher levels. The negatives keep manifesting as more terror attacks in Tunisia, Kuwait etc, the old Shia-Sunni conflicts at their worst. At a very high level, a painful separation of the programming from the false "Gods" of Sumeria is occurring, and those still brainwashed by their arrogant dictates (the fundamentalists of Abrahamic faiths) try to create the worst turmoil. What will the right wing politicians do now? What will the pastors try now? Will there be lone gunmen terrorizing LGBT marriages like how the Ku Klux Klan trained assassins terrorize the African American community? Will other countries follow suit? What will Pope Francis say? Waiting for Saturn to become direct, we will get more clarity. ------------------ Astrology Articles

And about the main Topic, very few thighs I could say, because I only know 2-3 things (historically and socially speaking) about Homosexuallity. In any case, I'm glad that this is another kick in the Schnoz to all violence, oppression and discrimination supporters. IP: Logged |

I seriously don't understand what the he** took them so long. It's been legal in Canada for over ten years.Comes down to too many hicks and religious quackjobs. Anyway, congrats to all those happy couples in America who are now one step closer to saying they don't live in a$$-backwards country. IP: Logged |

Just an observation. I do that. LOLNot one gay person (some at work, friends and relatives) that I know has made much of a big deal about it. Quite a few have been utterly silent!!! It's the straight people (especially on my FB) that are celebrating. I just found it ironic. IP: Logged |

I don't read newspapers or listen to media anymore and I first found out about it because a gay coworker said they were waiting to find out the results. Anyway I am overjoyed at the vote and I am straight. Last night I get sobbing tears of joy whenever I thought about it, and it wasn't just for the LGBT, (although I am esctatic for them too) but for all of humanity. The USA voting yes on this is a major breakthrough for all of humanity, it's a wonderful leap forward in consciousness and for me it feels like the beginning of many new good things to come. Light and love can and do win! I think that's why I kept sobbing last night cause the yes vote means that light and love are accomplishing things! Sometimes it can feel futile. Imagine if they had voted no? That would have been a devastating step back. Anyway this vote just melts my heart and feels like in some ways humanity is getting on the right track. I am also extremely grateful to have grown up somewhere so open minded, the symbol of the high school I graduated from was a rainbow and we had the largest gay community of any of the other high schools and my city just painted the crosswalks by city hall rainbows (possibly just for the pride parade in a week, but hopefully permanently. I'll post a pic later. Love to all!! IP: Logged |

Straight people don't have to worry about homophobic parents and relatives being abusive, kicking them out and/or cutting ties with them bc they're gay, nor bosses firing them bc of that and so on. So yeah, sorry if not everyone can celebrate as loudly as straight allies. IP: Logged |

The reason why I'm telling you this is bc some gay people just can't celebrate bc of what could happen. It's not just bc it's "not a big deal" (it IS a big deal)

A few are in their 60's (30's/40's also) at work and openly gay, yet have not said a word, at home or anything. But it's ok. Well back to celebration. IP: Logged |
