You'll find overlap between the systems. You'll find the same story across multiple systems told in different ways with different emphasis.

For example Zi Wei Dou Shu gave me a ton of information about my future spouse in a much more clear manner than Western Astrology did but when I did research about the same story in astrology it had the same themes.

It's really important to cross reference the systems because they match but sometimes the way one tells it is more on the surface than in another system where you may have overlooked it.
