Has anyone found that their life path number from numerology is often in accordance with the lessons to learn in this life through their North Node? For example, my north node is in Aquarius in the 6th house. My life path number is 11. The life path and purpose for those that are 11s: "Master Number 11 people are very powerful and have volunteered to incarnate to help the human race. Their pathway is often hidden, and one must learn through experiences in both the outer and inner-worlds. Master Number 11 represents 'transformation'.11 develops 'Soul Power' through loving, selfless service." The information I found on my life path is eerily similar to what my NN in Aquarius in the 6th represents, particularly, being of service to humanity. Has anyone found parallels between their life path number and north node? IP: Logged |

Hello Ashes2Phoenix! Welcome to LL I'm going to leave this post here because of the North Node reference but you might want to check out one of the numerology forums as well. ------------------ "There ain't no revolution, only evolution, but every time I'm in Georgia I 'eat a peach' for peace." No. My NN is in 3H Scorpio and my Life Path is 5. I have however found the nr 5 going like a red thread in my life! Life path 5. My name nr is 5. I have moon in 5H. I am a Chinese fire dragon which is the 5th zodiac sign there and I was born in a universal year 5. My middle name also starts with E which is the 5th letter in alphabet. I have also almost exclusively dated men that are 5 years older. IP: Logged |

Well my North node is in the 6th house in Taurus, and I also have life path number 11, and there may be some truth to what you think! I also feel like I should be helping the greater good, using my north node and the house its in, I have recently become a fitness intstructor of Zumba and Pound, and I am working for someone's business and I teach in classes, help people improve their fitness and mindset too, I am a huge believer in positive thinking, hopefully I will get my own classes and do this full time, but definitely I feel like this is my calling. It's difficult for me as I am not a fitness expert but I love to dance and share that experience with others. Key thing here I believe is sharing the knowledge with everyone, not just the other (as life path number 2 would suggest) we have a higher calling, this is for everyone! That's how I feel anyway... hope is helps! IP: Logged |

The numbers have their own correlation to the planets/Zodiac.1 = Sun 2 = Moon 3 = Jupiter 4 = Uranus 5 = Mercury 6 = Venus 7 = Neptune 8 = Saturn 9 = Mars I only mention this because it seems like some people on here--or maybe this is just my own interpretation--are conflating the House number and the number of their Life Path and I don't think that's how it should be read. I think when comparing the two you have to look at the North Node from both the sign AND the house instead of just the house. IP: Logged |

My North Node is in Libra 7th House (tightly Conjunct Chiron), and Life Path #9. I don't think there are any significant parallels/similarities between these two aspects, but I'm still able to harmonize them so that they serve my spiritual/karmic path. In a nutshell, I will grow through mediating negative energies between people/groups or, at the very least, serving as "referee", using judgment that is supported by past-life experiential intuition/wisdom i.e. "been there, done that".IP: Logged |

I think when comparing the two you have to look at the North Node from both the sign AND the house instead of just the house. Anyway, I can see some parallels between my own LP and North Node. My Life Path is 1 (a 19/1 which is a Karmic Debt number) and my North Node is in Virgo in the 5th house. My LP tells me I have to be creative (5th house) and a leader (my Sun is in Aries). I basically have to be this take-charge, independent person which resonates a lot more with my Sun sign (as stated above) than my North Node, probably because the 1 is ruled by the Sun. But at the same time, my South Node is telling me to move away from dreaminess and merging with the group and friends and to stand by myself. So I do think there are similarities between the two but I also think, at least for me, that my North Node speaks far more to ALL of my Core Numbers (Life Path, Heart's Desire, Birthday, and Expression) overall than just my Life Path singularly, especially to my 7 (16/7) vibrations.
Where is Pluto? I have a scorp NN. IP: Logged |

Yes. I made a post about this some time ago.Life Path 22 with North Node in Pisces 11th house I find that the cycles, pinnacles and challenges coincide with my Outer Planets house transits as well. I forget the details of it. You'll find overlap between the systems. You'll find the same story across multiple systems told in different ways with different emphasis. For example Zi Wei Dou Shu gave me a ton of information about my future spouse in a much more clear manner than Western Astrology did but when I did research about the same story in astrology it had the same themes. It's really important to cross reference the systems because they match but sometimes the way one tells it is more on the surface than in another system where you may have overlooked it. IP: Logged |

I saw something online that said that Pluto is 0 but 0s only appear as challenge numbers, not Life Paths. Astronumerology is kinda weird. For Scorpio I'd say it's 9 because in traditional astrology, Mars co-ruled Scorpio. IP: Logged |

Sometimes the Life Path is called the Birth number. All you do is take your date of birth and reduce the month, day, and year into single digits and then add those together and reduce again. And you'll have your Life Path. IP: Logged |

I think you're failing to see the parallels here. NN in the 7th is more than partnership and relationships/marriage. The 7th house is closely tied to leadership, mediating win-win libra style conflicts. The life path 9 is the same kind of mature leadership. People too often forget the 7th house is a house of leadership. Libra is Cardinal. There are clear links here. IP: Logged |

Node takes a year to move through a sign I think.... So no.,, Although it's quite coincidental for my case because I have 4 life path and I'm earth heavy. I'm kinda like Brad Pitt IP: Logged |

Actually.. I have found that ALL the numbers have different co-rulerships and such.. Scorpio was originally ruled by the number 8. However, the number 8 is also related with Saturn and the North Node. Another example.. 7 rules Neptune, but it also has resonance with Capricorn (as contradicting as that may seem..) Each number actually has multiple things it resonates with. Not just one single planet/point for each number. IP: Logged |

I think it's important to look at the South Node as well. I'm an 11 as well (As a side note, make sure you are calculating it the right way. You need to add up each individually before adding them together, until you reach a single digit or master number). My North Node is in the 3rd House Virgo, which would make the South Node be in 9th House Pisces. Of course South Node in Pisces fits a Spiritual Past Life (which is what happened ) but, the South Node in the 9th House also fits it because it has to do with being a Truth Seeker in a Past Life. So combined, you can clearly see the Life Path 11. IP: Logged |

I know that. I just put the most consistent rulers on here because astronumerology is highly unreliable. I had another comment on here sort of explaining that. Maybe I'll put it back on here. For example: Like on this one site I found a long time ago, the numbers go like this. 1 = Sun, Leo 2 = Moon, Cancer 3 = Jupiter, Sagittarius, Pisces 4 = Sun, Aquarius 5 = Mercury, Gemini, Virgo 6 = Venus, Taurus, Libra 7 = Moon, Pisces 8 = Saturn, Capricorn, Aquarius 9 = Mars, Aries, Scorpio (I understand that this is using traditional astrology instead of modern astrology.) I've even seen this: 1 = Sun 2 = Moon 3 = Mars 4 = Mercury 5 = Jupiter 6 = Venus, Uranus 7 = Saturn 8 = Pluto 9 = Neptune And even this: 1 = Mars, Aries 2 = Venus, Libra 3 = Sun, Leo 4 = Venus, Taurus 5 = Mercury, Gemini 6 = Moon, Cancer 7 = Neptune, Pisces 8 = Saturn, Capricorn 9 = Pluto, Scorpio And:
1 = Sun 2 = Moon 3 = Jupiter 4 = Saturn 5 = Mercury 6 = Venus 7 = Uranus 8 = Mars 9 = Neptune AND: 1 = Sun, Aries 2 = Moon, Taurus and Libra 3 = Jupiter and Mercury, Gemini 4 = Saturn, Cancer and Capricorn 5 = Mars, Leo 6 = Venus, Virgo 7 = Uranus and Neptune, Libra 8 = Pluto, Taurus and Scorpio 9 = Jupiter, Sagittarius So there's no true consensus. In my case it fits as well. My south node is in cancer and my life # is 7. I have spent my entire life learning to be strong and stop letting or allowing people to take advantage of me. IP: Logged |

It seems to be pretty accurate for me. My NN is in Sagg and in the 10th house, and my life path is the all encompassing broad minded 9. IP: Logged |
