Sometimes I think, "hey, there's something in all this". Other times I think, "get a life!"

Discuss!

Haha - "garabage" - I've just invented a new word! It means "untidy garage".

(Where's the wine? I need it)

Here's the thing. The way I see it.

Aqua moon as an example. I'm going to get Virgo on you.

If you mathematically figured out the number of possible houses with the possible number of aspects to ask the other planets, being modified by planets who have the same possible placements and aspects. If you tie it all together you end up (for example!! I didn't do the math) like 200,000 slight variations of aqua moon.

There's SOOOOO many ways that the planets may express themselves. It can throw in doubt when you encounter a "strange one". LOL
You could easily burn yourself out.
Perhaps that is what you're feeling sometimes. It's been true for me.

The thing that really convinces me that astrology works, is being able to accurately guess people's energies before you even know them, sometimes before you even speak to them.

The fact that this is possible, and that the guesses can be so exact... is clearly more than mere coincidence.
If someone conducted proper research into this using facial recognition software and psychological profiles (assuming they had a large sample) -- I'm positive they would find interesting results.

A while ago, a friend of mine who works in recruitment wanted to test astrology - and they showed me psychological profiles of particular people (job-seekers) they worked with. I tried to guess their Sun/Moon and/or AC on that basis, with no photos or anything else. I guessed the Moon sign correctly for 8/10. It's pretty obvious to me that it wasn't just 'chance'.
When you have photos or videos of the person, it's even easier.

I have countless examples actually... because I do these guessing exercises a lot in my day to day life... If I hadn't done this, I would've never come to believe astrology works.

But I'll give you just one other example... This is a recent one. I watched an astrologer (or astrology enthusiast) on YouTube discussing different placements. I watched five or six of his videos. I was curious what his Moon sign was... I have a thing with Moon signs lol!!

Anyway.. he has a section with videos of the 12 Moon signs... and I figured he would probably mention his own Moon sign, when he does a video on it.
So .. first I clicked on the Virgo Moon video.. because this was my initial guess... but he started off talking about something else and didn't mention anything about himself. So I was like hmm ok.... What else could it be? The next video I checked was Cancer Moon. I picked Cancer by a process of elimination.. I went through the other Moons quickly in my mind and thought.. Aries? hmm No!.. Taurus? No!... Gemini? Definitely Not! etc.
And I decided on Cancer.

As it turns out I was right. In the Cancer Moon video he mentioned at the start that it was his Moon sign.
Again, this could just have been a "lucky guess"... but for me it was more than a guess. I was 90% sure that out of the 12 signs his Moon would be in either Virgo or Cancer. How could I possibly be so sure (and get something like this right) - if astrology was bs?

But this ^ (my guesswork) is just the way I've proven astrology to myself. There is no point in me using these examples to prove astrology to other people, mainly people who are skeptical... because they'll always find a way to either disbelieve me or discredit my intuitions.
I wouldn't bother trying to convince someone who is set on being a skeptic, for that reason. It's basically a waste of my time and theirs.

I used to work at a place that I could meet 100 people in a day....I decided to make it my thing to always ask their birthdays. After a couple years of doing this, i could feel what their sun sign was and would guess it.
Even stranger, some particular birthdays had such a strong energy to me that I could tell them when their birthday was within a day if not exact.
At the time I had no idea why these dates stood out to me, but I could feel them coming and spot them across the room.
This alone was enough to make me believe there was something to astrology and start deeply studying it.

The dates I could spot across the room...May 12, 13 and Nov 13,14
Know I know the ppl born on these days have their Sun exact on my NN or my SN

I am more and more convinced overtime that astrology is the secret to the universe, as my life experience grows. Two recent examples of why were seeing my boyfriend's brother get mad about something and guessing that he had a fire moon. I really thought he was overreacting; meanwhile, my boyfriend was extremely calm and placid. I got his birth info from my boyfriend after the incident and plugged in the numbers; Leo moon.

Then two days ago my Sag moon friend was lamenting to me that his sister (now his roommate) and he were not getting along again. This seems to eventually always happen when they try to live together. I speculated that her moon sign must be squared to his by sign. I got her birth info and plugged in the numbers; hers was Virgo, square his Sag moon. Sidenote: how many times do I have to tell people not to live with those whose moon signs square their own by sign if they like being at peace in their own home??

After becoming familiar with the energies, I noticed that Naomi Campbell is really bad at controlling the internal rage that she has and guessed that she must have a Mars/Pluto hard aspect that she's failed to get a handle on. I checked it out and she indeed has the square.

I can always guess when a musical artist is a male Pisces. The most recent time I was correct was Nate Ruess of the band fun. They have puppydog eyes in their videos, a vulnerability about them, they tend to be pu$$ies, basically. But they sing from the soul. They don't care if it's cheesy. Examples are Bon Jovi, Justin Bieber, Michael Bolton, Robin Thicke, Chris Martin... I can always just tell now.

My roommate correctly guessed that this girl he was on a date with was a Virgo. It turned out she has Virgo rising as well so that probably made it that much more obvious.

And I could go on. To me, it is a useful tool in understanding people's psychology and motivations and why they act the way they do.

My mother will never understand why I always date broke-a$$ men (lol) and I for the life of me cannot understand why she is such a shameless golddigger. I am a Pisces moon and an earth singleton. She is a Capricorn moon and her chart is way more grounded than mine. People are just... different. That is all there is to it. So astrology is really helpful in understanding and accepting that.

For me, the validation came when I could successfully figure out someone's Moon position by just sitting with them.

There are still many other facets of astrology that are challenging to decipher. But I'm sticking with it

I love how you made simple observations to back up your claim! This is how I too learn that astrology has some realness to it. That mars square pluto aspect never lies. I've never encountered somebody that didn't have a temper with this aspect.

It's way too accurate to not be true in my opinion.

I believe the ones who doubt Astrology's significance, hasn't studied it enough to use it to their advantage. Aside from that, I truly believe you have to have a knack for Astrology. You have to be able to use your imagination, create different scenarios based off an aspect grid, and be able to critically analyze symbols as whole, by putting them together, while studying each aspect individually at the same time.

Astrology is definitely not an easy concept to grasp.

And many people just won't accept that there's a functioning, working blueprint to human behavior besides questionable religion or psychological theories.

The more you study and learn, the better you'll get and the doubt will stop.

At least this is all from my experience.

I waver, but most of the time these days I pretty much assume it's true, though for metaphysical reasons that most others wouldn't subscribe to.

I did some tests to see for myself and it worked pretty good, though I lost interest in it at the time. And when I was checking what psychics and such had to say about the future (with the target of what would life be like in the year 2000, with that being the current year I looked into it) I thought it would be fun to do the same about the more respectable fields, including scientists. About all of them were wrong, wrong, wrong, and one scientist (a geophysicist, IIRC) was not only off but the exact opposite of what he predicted happened. My favorite was an article I found in which a chimpanzee picked who would win elections and what would happen with the economy and the chimp had all the respected experts and analysts beat (most by a lot)! So even though astrology (or should I say astrologers?) isn't perfect, neither is anything else.

And there are still a lot of mysteries that baffle me. Like conjoined twins I learned about in which the heads on the same body had some very different opinions and attitudes...why!? Though that would seem to defy astrology it also defies nature and nurture, too! (To this day they share one body.)

Not too long ago I came to realize that some calculations I did was wrong and therefore so was an aspect on my chart...yet I did reflect the incorrect placement while the correct placement didn't really fit me that well...this really rattled me though by coincidence someone on LL explained a placement I have that produced a very similar manifestation as the one I have but shouldn't have (that is based on the other aspect).

But ultimately, I think what drew me in was two things: one, me and a partner of mine went to see a trained therapist to work out our problems and he was a joke, the only way he helped is that we bonded by making fun of him when we left his office. He was completely clueless who tried pat answers on us (the way many depict astrologers). And around that time a psychic fair came into town, and though those are generally bad places to go (as the scam artists find them very useful to "go fish" for marks) I dragged my partner and found one who wasn't trying to actively get clients (she was reading) and decided that she was probably genuine. And she was incredibly helpful, even my very skeptical partner was impressed (and whether she did it through astrology or cold reading hardly mattered, it was still money well spent, and cheaper than that incompetent therapist!) and unlike the therapist the astrologer even advised us to treat our relationship as a fling as it was extremely unlikely it would last...and she was right about that as well. (Astrology 1, Psychology 0).

About the only therapist (still in training at the time, however) who helped me believed in astrology herself, and took my chart into consideration.

So I studied it more, got made fun of by many friends yet as part of my testing it I offered free readings to the skeptics who made fun of me as well because I wanted honest opinions on the veracity of it, and I did go out on a limb (after all I had a general idea at least on who they were so that removed a lot of guesswork and I could figure out what their inner world was like that they didn't necessarily share with others) and every single one...even the one skeptic who I was confused by as her chart had so many contradictions to it so I had to just take a wild guess at times...said it worked. Granted, some skeptics came up with rational explanations for why it worked for me, but even a couple of them were intrigued and wanted me to do more for them!

And so for those reasons I'm more inclined to believe in it...though the more I learn the more I realize I have yet to learn about it, and the more complicated it becomes.
