It does make you feel lonely like your always an outsider because ppl don't know what to think of you. It's like your the elephant in the room that makes everyone feel weird, and your just stuck there. You didn't do anything! IP: Logged |

Or, people stare and they do what I call the "sneaky glances" because they're so intrigued and can't figure out how to stop staring. So they stop. Then they look at the corner of their eyes and then stop. And repeat. It seems like the new animal at the zoo. Nobody quite knows where it's from, what it eats, and how often. Just that it's from somewhere, it eats, and just enough to stay alive. Edit: I don't mean that as a desparaging comment that folks with pluto on the ascendant are like zoo animals. Just a metaphor. Hehe. IP: Logged |

Or the "jack in the box", when they look away then always suddenly have to look back, real quick, to see if we are still there I guess? I don't know why they keep looking I mean we are just sitting there doing nothing! It's just weird. Even driving, ppl will try to stay next to you to look at you. I've had times I almost missed an exit because I couldn't get around ppl I go forward they speed up I go backwards they slow down....I couldn't get away. If I'm sitting at a light and can feel the ppl staring at me I'll scoot forward, then they scoot forward so I'll go forward more n they do to. It's soooo annoying!! That's when I start picking my nose! IP: Logged |

Another question about Pluto on the ascendant though, if you have pluto, known to be deep and intense and mysterious on the asc but you have a, say a Pisces ascendant or leo, something more bright and warm, how does that energy play out then for the person? Is it still that invisible force field or is it toned down a little? IP: Logged |

With my coworker, who this post was originally about, I notice people watching them as if they can't take their eyes away. But it's usually these same people who sit 2 or 3 chairs down. The coworker, like I said, is very efficient and I can count on them to get the best details when it comes to research. But they are very closed off to others, even though the force field seems to draw a lot of people in. I mean, look at, I'm intrigued myself.

My Pluto AC/Pluto and Venus are in libra Pluto is conjunct Venus I still have the libra appearance but have an intensity that ppl either love or hate. I'm light and airy and like to please ppl but I don't let ppl get close to me. I like to stand in the back and watch ppl. I don't typically engage ppl or want to be the center of attention like most Libras. Actually being the center of attention makes me anxious, sick to my stomach it's the last thing I want. I think I appear more friendly than most scorpios AC's but I'm just as quiet and private as they are. My son and daughter are both scorp AC's and they are just like me in this way, but I will talk n be friendly with ppl when it's necessary. My kids won't unless a person engages them first and then they are still quiet, they will smile and be friendly by gestures but if they have to talk it's like pulling teeth. They are very talkative once they get to know you but until then...no!! Lol IP: Logged |

That is very interesting, thank you for those examples. I think I have a better grasp on how pluto energy works with the ascendant and how it influences more airy signs in how they engage with other people. Also, you have venus conjunct pluto in your natal chart? Holy wowsers. That is no joke.

Sorry for all the questions, but since your is conjunct, does this still apply to the softer aspects? Like the trine/sextile? Or would that energy be like a light switch that turns on and off, or for the trine is steady but not so intense? IP: Logged |

The trine/sextile will blend better and won't cause the obvious extreme energy that the conjunction will cause. Being conjunct the AC means everyone else will see it just as much I feel it. The squares intensity will be felt by the person intensely and their behaviors will show the intensity they feel but I don't think the energy will be as penetrating to others as much as it is to the person them self. When it sits on your AC it's like your wearing Pluto as your clothes that are intense to some ppl they are very offensive and hate them but to others it's magnetic and their drawn to it...no matter everyone turns to see and stare. The person just has to deal with it, as ppl will be acting out towards you on what they see. While someone who has it aspecting their AC in a square aspect would be maybe more like they were wearing Pluto as some really tight undies and they are obviously uncomfortable and frustrated not enjoying what their feeling Lol But nobody can see whats the issue, everyone can see something is there creating an issues but they can't actually see its Pluto that is the cause. Because of that they won't act out on that person quite as much, they are not offending personally because they can't see Pluto. It's not as shocking overt and in their face as Pluto on AC would be.Imo the square would make the energy come off as an unstable intensity, maybe coming across as a 'loose canon' energy. While on the AC is a more focused intensity and more obviously destructive and forcing change to the AC person. AC/Pluto will always be in the process of transformation...their life, appearance and who they are constantly struggling to become better and change or get plowed by Pluto.

Ya...I couldn't think of any other way to describe that! Lol Everyone can tell there's an intensity that's uncomfortable but it's not as directed and in ppls faces, nobody can see the issue with the square. Pluto on AC seems to offend ppl or make them feel attacked just because you exist...it's like your wearing an energy that's intense and in others face right upfront for everyone to see like your antagonizing them but it's of course not intentional. Then there is others that are drawn to it. IP: Logged |

You're good man. Aspects that are conjunct pluto will still radiate scorp energies. You can also be a scorpio rising and have a penetrating gaze as it is the outer mask you present to the world. You're style, persona, appearance. This also goes for Moon in Scorp and Sun in Scorp. Another cool thing is if pluto is in first house you will radiate intensity where ever you go. Ever walked past someone and thought they just were a bit dangerous/intense/intimidating? A lot of celebrities have this as it draws in people. You exude sex, death, regeneration, transformation, and rebirth. Having this in your 12th house will make it expressed more subconsciously. You will have difficulties displaying your power. And often yearn for emotional intensity. A REAL sense of life. Having pluto sextile, trine, inconjunct, square, or opposite ascendant will also show this. But maybe not to the same degree. Stronger with a tight orb though such as pluto trine Ascendant -1'00 IP: Logged |

Very true!! Personally I love Pluto! Pluto is like a fire house, so intense and powerful you have to learn how to hold into it and control it, if you don't it flys out of control and destroys whatever is in it's path. But if you take the time to work with it, get strong enough to hold it and then direct it's energy, it will destroy the fire that burning the house down. You can use it's destructive power to destroy the things that are doing harm to yourself and others. It's totally worthy of your appreciation, your right the universe would be lost without our lil Pluto! IP: Logged |

And I've noticed that at meetings, people will either sit right next to them, or a seat or two away. It's like, the person just takes up space, even if they're not big physically. That's pluto right?
I have Pluto (in Scorpio) square my Ascendant. Exact square, zero degree orb. People are either all up in my space, basically suffocating me with their own energy, or they're clear across the room. And then there's the ones that sit down right next to me, appear to be settled in, and then migrate several seats (or rows) away. The only people who don't do this are people I'm good friends with or have known a really long time. Watching other people's reactions as they communicate with my friends in my presence is amusing, though. With most of my personal planets in Virgo and in the 8th house no less, you'd think I was the signaling of the end of times. I can't count on both hands how many stories I share with friends where they thought I hated them in the beginning of the friendship, when in actuality, I was just being quiet. IP: Logged |

Short version: I observe and then decide if they are the kind of person that I want to be social with. Mine is conjunct (4 degrees) If it's people that I already trust then I'm fine. It depends if someone captures my interest OR puts in real effort to reach out to me. If I'm not interested, which is most people, then a simple smile and hello could be a stretch. Maybe that's my problem. LOL I just make eye contact and that's it. My reason is just curiosity but I'm often told that I look angry. Especially when I'm focused. Even just into a television show. So, like that young lady at work. I've not ever said hello in passing. LOL On the flip side. A few years ago there was a woman that for whatever reason caught my attention. So I'd smile, say hello, etc. Complimented her a few times, etc. She seemed interested but with Taurus Venus and cancer moon I think she was cautious and nothing became of it. Ironically, she's my boss now. LOL She still looks at me all the time even in a room full of people but it's too late. I'm happily taken. She's mature enough to realize this. With a lot of people I just observe them. If they have great senses of humor and don't offend easily then I'll warm up to them. I like to be able to say really out there, dark humor things. Haha With those people I'm very smiley, imaginative, and animated. I'm sure outsiders see this. My buddies are all funny and cool headed. There's a guy at work, he's funny but hot headed so I keep my distance. I'm too emotionally lazy to deal with that. It takes too much energy. (I've noticed that a few people that I keep distance from all have Leo mars and Venus! I work with three!!) I have no idea if I even answered your question. I just started rambling. I'd say that most people never hear a word or see a smile. Sometimes people say hi and get nothing back. If I don't want to talk, I won't! IP: Logged |

Is your Pluto on your IC or DC? I've often wondered how do ppl feel with Pluto square AC? I have Valentine/Eros/IC square my Pluto/AC by 1 degree and for me it seems to make me a bit schizoid regarding love, I'm all or nothing and don't really know how to be inbetween. It's uncomfortable and I wish I knew how to take things slowly and grow into love but the square is just frustrating it makes everything urgent or it wants to feel nothing. Do you have anything like this going on? IP: Logged |
