Yeah, thanks Belage!
So i have it at 14°, what I figured out is that I had the exact Return alredy in September 2014, it went retro at December 2014, 22°

hit exactly my Jupiter again in March 2015.

I guess the retro action of Jupiter was favorable taking my natal Jupier position.

I should have had good energys around almost from september 2014 to June 2015!

I knew I am a lucky guy! haha

I was just trying to put remember what happenend in this perioud xD
and it just let me thinking...

I think I decided to travel around october 2014, and decide not to travell anymore around June 2015!

Omg, now I am thining, is travelling what brings luck and happiness to my life, I really had the most exiting moments ever!
Or was it more of a protection that I needed for travelling?

But for sure I am exagerating and putting to much glamour into the story,
nice old Jupiter.. hehe

I wonder what Kaali transits were doing in your chart when you decided to leave him? Was he physically abusive?

My first Jupiter Return. It was a difficult year. Of course, I'm not going to blame a Jupiter Return for that. My experience this year was, however, life-changing. During my first Jupiter Return, I decided I wanted to be a writer. My Jupiter and Midheaven are both in Virgo and 11th House.

Now, there is a problem with stating my Midheaven is in 11th House, because that should be impossible. When I first started using Whole Sign, I was confused, but regardless, both a career decision and a friendship was formed during my Jupiter Return even though it was a completely miserable year. I can't call this a "lucky" year. My luckiest year was last year so far, but I also have my second Jupiter Return coming up next week. I'm not sure if I want more friends or career progress to be honest. It's a difficult call.

September 2nd, 2015 to September 2nd, 2016
I hope that I make more friends during this Jupiter Return, but it's far easier to advance in my career. I'm not sure where to look for the type of people I wish to form friendships with. This said, I might get lucky. Maybe. Since my second Jupiter Return is next week, I cannot yet say how it will go.[/B]

If your luckiest year was last year what transits you think were responsible for that? I wonder what asteroid abundantia was doing in your chart ?

I did so well in school during this time I got much financial aid and scholarships that was able to pull me out of a debt I accumulated. I was so immersed in my workouts to take out my rage at the paternal side of my family that I'm now at the peak of my physical fitness moreso than ever before. I moved out of a bad neighborhood during all of this closer to my hometown. Now that I see my mom more often, our relationship is finally on good terms. It was very strained when I was a teenager/young adult.

Seems more like the aftermath of a terrible Saturn transit than a Jupiter Return, but that's what my JR was. Jupiter is usually pretty kind to me but man that was rough.

It was rough but it sounds like that is what it took to get yourself back on track and more aligned with your higher self; you restored your relationship with your mother, you got back in shape and went back to school; powerful story actually, painful but empowering.

What are your natal jupiter aspects? is pluto, scorpio or chiron involved in any way?

Oh definitely, I feel very aligned with my soul's purpose more now than ever in my life so I do feel indebted for the harsh lesson. I don't feel traumatized from it, I feel a sense of warmth and healing now, you know? Although it was bleak as hell while in the midst of everything.

Funny you mention everything you did! I have natal Jupiter conj Chiron (Cancer) and natal Jupiter/Chiron trine Pluto (in Scorpio) - talk about walking through the narrow passageways of the underworld with nothing but a melting candle to guide you. People associate Chiron with pain more than anything but it really is a healing and reincarnating force if one is able to see the lesson through.

Yesterday I started to study for my national counseling exam! YAY...

Finally! I knew I had to at some point but for some reason yesterday was the day and so I checked my transits and found above so had to share it .

I think there is a misconception about Jupiter. It`s not really about LUCK, but more about MEANING.
You will probably realized or at least being faced with what is meaningful for you, what feels like living a genuous truthful life for you. What`s important? What makes your life feel meaningful?

This CAN feel like the greatest happiness on earth, IF you already live "your own truth". If however the reevaluation should show you don`t, it will not feel very happy at first; well once you re-aligned your path with what feels right and meaningful for you, the happiness will come. But it is not a lucky feeling so much (at least not generally), it has more to do with that inner peace knowing you are living the life you are meant for, and that radiates as happiness outwards and probably attracts chances and luck into your life.

Pluto help: these transits are the longest lasting and when to natal Jupiter or if Jupiter's return in any way also transits natal Pluto, you can see a big boost in opportunities related to access and application of resources (material and spiritual).

Neptune doesn't really help with 'luck' so much as help with the creative imagination and vision associated with creating beneficial outcomes in the plane of consciousness first that can later materialize. Not to be underestimated.

Be careful about any 'get rich quick' schemes, business propositions, etc, if Jupiter's return also transits your Neptune (hard aspects especially) or if Neptune makes hard transits to natal points simultaneous to the Jupiter return. Use Jupiter-Neptune combinations for envisioning mutually beneficial outcomes and wait for lines of action to reveal themselves. These times are not good for assessing risk accurately.

Remember the principle that Robert Hand outlines in his Jupiter section related to luck -- we only get as much out of the world as we put in. So if you go through so-called lucky transits and don't receive much benefit, it is time to invest more in others, the world at large.

Of course my take on Jupiter return might be coloured by the fact that Jupiter is my chartruler and sits in 3rd house.
Nevertheless I just looked up my last Jupiter return (which was on my youngest brother`s birthday 5 years ago ) and my next one. definitely worth another look for me. Esp. being chartruler and all.

Funny enough just when I started writing thsi post I saw a ladybug at my window. There are quite a few around lately, not sure why that is. and why they seem to all want to come into my appartment. lol

Wow ceri you have no idea how much what you said is in sync with my inner dialogue I was having with myself yesterday.

Transit Jupiter is on my mercury squaring my nodes right now in the 9th.

I will elaborate more tonight on this...

Hypatia,

Im not so sure if im feeling to lucky with my jupiter return. As you probably know I have my jupiter in virgo at 14 degrees retrograde in the 12th house it is my 3rd ruler. I have venus square my Jupiter natally and since im a singer and going to school for music I feel so insecure and my new teacher that I have for performance class is very strict, hard, cold, and says nothig but negative things about my performance and singing abilities it sucks everytime I go to that class the ascendant is in SAGGITARIUS and jupiter is in the 9th house with venus and Mars squared my natal venus in the 3rd house plus the vertex in the 8th house was conjunct my chiron and Apollo in the 11th.

Anyways the positive side about this jupiter return transit is that I realized POSSIBILY that direct jupiter is lowering my confidence and abilities as a singer and anything Venusian it's bringing the worst side of me and I just feel nothing I do is correct. Im wondering if maybe I'll experience transit RETROGRADE jupiter return and MAYBE that will have a "luckier" effect on me?? But I just feel so low as possible whenever I go to that class and I mess up so much none the less this guy in my class has Mars gemini retrograde and when jupiter took transit on his Mars at 13 degrees gemini retrograde he also felt very insecure and messed up quite a lot but again transit vertex in the 8th CONJUNCT hischiron. I know this is so much information but I just don't know whether im feeling this lucky transit it's causing me to isolate and contemplate which I don't mind but I have to be confident when I sing and be prepared and not take this new teacher so harshly I just feel like crying ugh and I hate how the vertex will conjunxt my chiron again this Friday ughhhhh

Give me your thoughts?

I think that 'luck' is worth some attention. It is as much a feeling of happy coincidences and synchronicity, as windfalls. In other words, it comes as we are putting positive energy into our lives and into the world, rather than when grasping at 'something more' or grasping at material wealth, or especially money.

It is a shame to waste the Jupiter/jovial energy on the search for cash and prizes.

With Jupiter-Rx folks (in your birth chart) the expansive principle is as much internal growth, intuition, realization, expanded meaning.

For those with Jupiter direct, it may be focused more on external searches or growth that can be seen or measured in more tangible terms.

Both are appropriate and both are valuable.

The Jupiter-Rx/interior growth is just as important, or more important as anything measurable on the outside.

Jupiter direct/external growth is important for reaching out to others, for breaking free of bonds, for opening up to your surroundings, and learning to share.

On its basic level the jovial energy is translated as 'more', a measure of quantity, which often leaves out quality. Venus = quality. Jupiter, quantity.

But we cannot be in expansion or growth mode forever, at least in the external sense. There has to be a sense of ebb-n-flow and an eventual realization of where we may have over-extended, and reel things in. That is what the downfall of lucky Jupiter is ... the tendency to over-do, over-extend, to do too much, to over-indulge.

At its best, it urges us to coordinate group involvements in which we see overlapping interests that introduce us to a larger world, a stronger group effort, growth through outreach.

In my PE. Jupiter conjunct radix Sun has proved to be nicer.
Perhaps its' natal placement has more to do with whether its return signifies LUCK!
My Jupiter return is always shortly after it transits natal Saturn.
For the last 18+ years my progressed Midheaven has been in Virgo(my sun sign) so when T.Jupiter heads to Radix Sun it is in natal 11th and progressed 10th.
Jupiter just expands whatever else is happening in your life. That does not always
spell luck.
Jupiter return for me being immediately preceded by t.Jupiter to radix Saturn has only and always expanded my responsibilities.
My last Jupiter(27cp43) return chart placed Jupiter in 10th. The number of hours I worked increased, At the time Saturn was in Virgo, so my progressed 10th.
I think you have to look at more, in this case it is obvious, Saturn signifies capricorn. Jupiter in the return was also sq asc(<1*) of return chart and and asc of natal
3* so yes I was rather popular at work.
I had no time for myself so I don't really consider it a lucky thing.
I guess I was luckier than people who had no job.

I would like to check if the Jupiter return years especially lucky for me. My natal Jupiter is conjunct Regulus at 28 Leo, which I've read is a pretty lucky point anyway.

Where can I find a Jupiter ephemeris?

Edit: OK, saw the link in your first posting.

I will admit, the year I tend to look back on the most fondly was definitely the year of my last Jupiter return. I just checked to see if that's what was going on that year, and yep! Jupiter returned right during one of the happiest, most pivotal, most romantic years ever.

Can I haz that back plz?

Hi ,

Don't mean to bump an old thread, but I am going through my third Jupiter return, haha I'm old.

The first one was kind of a blessing in disguise. I remember at 12 I got my period , a couple of months later I believe before I fully turned 13 I got into a fight with a girl, then her older bully cousin beat me up .

I changed schools and wow! I was sooo much happier that I did that. I met my best friend and it was one of the best years of my life - 1999 . I was also very popular in the new school and very happy, which was rare for me to experience especially in a school setting. It turned out that my new best friend I met at the new school also got beat up by the same EXACT older girl and changed schools, what are the odds? They also ended up fighting each other one day randomly when we were on our way back home from school.

Second Jupiter return was also a painful blessing at 23 a few days shy of 24 I had my daughter , aww. We also moved to a condo and my business also started really improving and I got really lucky and got the opportunity to work with one of the most successful companies i've had the chance of working for.

Now during my third I made a few predictions and it looks like a promising relationship is in store. I hope it's right and I can't wait . I also hope this return just blesses me in all the right areas, heh .

Natally: Jupiter in Pisces 1H

I will hopefully keep you guys updated.

Happy Jupiter return!
