Didn't show it's face until I asked the second time... that's when I saw that it was a saber tooth. The crow was HUGE! I thought it was a vulture. Also the saber tooth roared at me but then did a little giggle and started rubbing it's head on me and jumping on my playfully. The crow just kept flying by my eyes. It was fun!
Did you look it up to see what it means?? IP: Logged |

Thank you for mentioning that. I was reading the thread and couldn't stop thinking that I think my guide may actually be an old, oriental man. I don't know how guides work, I was just looking at the sunset one day and suddenly there was this very strong sense of this man behind me, standing very close, in a gesture of support. Not sure what I was thinking before I got that sense of him, but I retained the impression of, "He must be real, because this is completely out of the blue, and not what I was expecting at all." But I can't say if that was my guide. I wish I knew.

or we can try to accumulate data and see if there,s a correlation between Sun/Moon/Rising and the spirit animal I tried yesterday, but I don't think I managed it, I got too easily distracted by my thoughts I'll try again tonight and many others until I get it ahah IP: Logged |

Do you know what the funny thing is, it's that each time I think about this shamanic journey and what my spirit animal is, I always get the picture of a deer in my head... guess what this website gives me? a deer IP: Logged |

@RoseLily Two for two so far I wonder how they arrived at those animals for each combination. Pure intuition, or maybe some kind of method? IP: Logged |

I don't know :/, curious thing however. My spirit animal may not be a deer either, it's just the one coming to mind and it struck me, because I always thought of myself as a lion or tiger type (more solitary and intimidating)

I did this about 2 months ago...loved it! My spirit guide was a black panther....I saw a deer, elk, grizzly bear, an elephant, owl, zebra and fox....but the only one that wouldn't leave my side and said it would stay with me was the black cougar, it had yellow/green eyes. He told me his name. We are not supposed to share their names, not sure why but that's what I was told. IP: Logged |

@RoseLily I might be mistaken, but I don't think our spirit animals/guides are supposed to be a reflection of the persona/ego we've developed in this lifetime. I think they are their own seperate entities, but still connected to our spirits in some way. I get the feeling that they might be connected to the North Node. I kept thinking Libra while reading the description for the otter. IP: Logged |

@FreeLeon, ah! You're right! As for the sign part, the deer made me think about bot gemini (quick witted, curious, nervous energy) and scorpio (take time to open up, love very intensely, don't take rejection well, loyal through thick and thin once they are tied with someone. It reminded me a lot of scorpio venus, or plutonian in general) EDIT: And yes my N.node is in scorpio. However, I also think it may represents our dominating sign. My gemini is duplicated with my sun in, conjunct IC, whereas I can also be considered plutonian, with a heavily aspected pluto at home in house and in sign. IP: Logged |

Mine, coyote. All written traits aside. The message given to me during my meditation was To be subtle, imaginative, innovating, and not necessarily aggressively initiating but taking FULL advantage of opportunities. Never to miss them and be aware of every detail happening around me. Don't think that any little benefit is too small because the sum is huge. Be efficient because brute force won't get me what I want - cleverness and patience, working behind the scene.IP: Logged |

What kind of meditation do you guys undertake for this?Since this is a shamanic journeying practice, do you listen to shamanic drumming or just meditate as you normally do? IP: Logged |
