Don't know any direct links but you can just google it and look up meditations on youtube.Your Spirit Animal or guide is an animal that your soul has its deepest connection with. You may have one, or more than one, it depends. Every animal has a spiritual meaning and your animal describes what gifts you have hidden deep within you. My Bear represents Intuition, creativity, wisdom, raw strength and life force

A Iroquois woman sensed mine from meeting me and told me I'm the turtle - for gentleness, resilience, and strength. She gave me a turtle pendant that I wear pretty often. IP: Logged |

Don't know if its astro related but it can still help get a better understanding to who you are IP: Logged |

So it just comes to you? Or you pick one and just call it yours? IP: Logged |

It's called a Shamanic journey and you journey to the lower world in meditation to meet your animal guide. It is often not who you expect. You should ask you animal guide if it is ok to reveal it's identity or not, as some are more private and if you insult/disrespect your animal guide they can leave you. Mine prefers to only have me tell close respected friends and does not wish his identity to be revealed over a public forum. IP: Logged |

It just comes to you. You may not expect it to be the animal. I never expected mine to be a Bear and when he appeared he spoke to me and told me his name. They SPEAK to you (some of them). Your spirit guide may be a Snake, but it isn't a bad thing. Every spirit guide represents something that is deeply apart of you IP: Logged |

I'm excited to try it! I found certain kinds of meditation videos. Is that what you suggest? Meditation has always been difficult. I have an extremely restless mind. IP: Logged |

Oh yes, meditation has been very important in my life. My guide always shows me something to work on, to improve...to heal. Each step at a time IP: Logged |

Ok I'm certain mine is Coyote. It just kept coming to me. An eagle also but the coyote was much much stronger, bonded, while the eagle was more observing. Anyway, I heard the basic message of it. Afterward I looked up the meaning of Coyote spirit animal. Mind blown. What I read, matched the message that I received, which matches me. Wow. Coyote Symbolism The coyote often symbolizes the trickster or joker. However, its symbolism is associated with a deep magic of life and creation. It can be considered as having the following meanings: -Jokester -Adaptability -Reveal the truth behind illusion and chaos -Playfulness -Paradoxical nature, personality difficult to categorize -Beware of the dark side of things and play on your resources IP: Logged |

I took an actual quiz and got owl. But the coyote came to me in my mind so I stick with that. Plus the description really hits me deeper. It fits my chart too and "Secret Language" birthday description. Thanks for making this topic! IP: Logged |

Love this thread, but just wanted to add for those who aren't familiar that your spirit guide does NOT have to be an animal. Sometimes they come to you in human form. So when you ask to see your spirit guide, don't be surprised if it's not an animal.IP: Logged |

Yeah the best way to find your spirit guide is by meditation. Those little Facebook quizzes don't do much lol

http://www.bibliotecapleyades.net/ciencia/astral_dynamics/astral_dynamics08.htm I sensed an eagle, then, shortly after, an owl presented itself. Together we flew for a while, before finally arriving at a creek. There we met an otter, who I sensed to be my main spirit animal. Neither of the three disclosed their names; I got the feeling that they don't identify with names. This experience was our introduction to one another/first interaction. The eagle was displaying peculiar behavior, which I didn't think much of at the time. The owl seemed to be the intiator of the two, deciding what to do for both of them and when to do it. I'm fairly certain that the otter sent them to retreive me, though the otter only acknowledged me for a moment when we met, then continued with its otter activities. IP: Logged |

A friend of mine described hers as a "pilar of light". Well sacred energy can take any presentation. The important is the message behind itIP: Logged |

FreeLeon The coyote was extremely focused and cautious. Not hiding, but keeping safe distance. Next thing I knew it was right beside me. I never saw the approach. LOL IP: Logged |

In my experience, I was sitting down by a tree and when I looked to my right a giant Grizzly Bear was running towards me...it was the last thing i expected. I even thought it was a mistake. But when I did the research i was surprised to know that everything that was described represented me.IP: Logged |

That reminds me of a situation I was in the other morning. I went on a jog/run at 3 AM through an upscale residential area above the boulevard. The place is in the hills and has a forestry setting. As I always do, I ran to the forest-park on the opposite side (about 4 miles there and back). When I got there, I stopped for a moment, and for some reason I felt compelled to run through the pitch-black forest. I don't know what came over me... I finally decided not to do that. I proceeded to make my journey back home, but no more than 20 seconds later I saw a coyote on someone's driveway, around 30 meters away. We froze, and stared at one another for a good while; I could only see its glowing eyes and the outline of its figure. I looked at my phone for a second to pause a new song that had begun playing, but when I looked back up the coyote was gone. I stood there for a few more seconds with an eerie-feeling before hearing the howls and yips of 3-4 other coyotes coming from deep inside the forest. It was surreal, but that might have been due to runner's high, though it also felt like some kind of message IP: Logged |

Woah O_O Meditated half way completely for the first time! Got a saber tooth tiger and a big crow o: Before I actually meditated I got "big cat, Big cat, BIG CAT!" and a big cat paw that was tan stepped forward. Didn't show it's face until I asked the second time... that's when I saw that it was a saber tooth. The crow was HUGE! I thought it was a vulture. Also the saber tooth roared at me but then did a little giggle and started rubbing it's head on me and jumping on my playfully. The crow just kept flying by my eyes. It was fun! IP: Logged |
