My daughter has moon square Pluto and Venus, conjunct Uranus, and opposite Mars. I'm horrified, and I feel your pain. I worry about this a lot.

I hope it can be good for our girls.

I have moon opposite Mars and conjunct Lilith and I do have a difficult relationship with my mother, but I still love her.

I try to console myself realizing that basically everyone has a difficult relationship with their mother in some way.

Koniucha, isn't is wonderful that you know astrology and will try your very best to mitigate this aspect as much as possible? what is the point of learning astrology if we don't use the knowledge to better ourselves and how we interact with people?

Also check if you have planets such as Jupiter, Neptune, Venus making lovely aspects with your daughter's moon, that would positively affect her experience with you.

Hmmm... Then maybe, if it's not a negative thing - it could mean that her grandparents (maybe in particular the grandmother) will have a strong impact on her.
Her grandmother might be as much a part of her life as you (her mother).
Basically Moon in Capricorn and/or Moon/Saturn can also refer to having 'old school' values and desires on an emotional level. And this can come from having a parent (usually the mother) that is elderly -or- alternatively, a grandparent taking on the role of parenting.

i have moon/saturn conjunct natally. Ok so I will admit that growing up with my mother was a little challenging. I wasn't sure I could trust her. I used to have recurring dreams where I had two mothers and one was good, one was evil but i could never work out which the evil one would be because she disguised it well. Anyway, i have learnt a great deal with her. She can be emotionally cold and distant but she tries her hardest to be an amazing mother and she would do anything for me. She just can't always hold me when I'm feeling emotional. She starts analysing my problems instead of feeling and listening to me.

But it has taught me to look within myself and find my own strength and balance between the harshness of saturn and feminine beauty of the moon - to be my own good enough mother. This has helped me accept her more and not expect perfection.

But we're all different. this is just what I have experienced.
The fact that you are on here concerned about your daughter shows an immense amount of love right there.

I love this, pretty much sums up the aspect.

So I guess our own Sun and Moon chart aspects will show how we will eventually "parent" our own elderly parents...weird but something to think about.

Your daughter has very interesting placements. Don't worry about it too much. There are ways to make the best of any type of placement. Does she have a feisty spirit? I would have her taking martial arts classes or some kind of unusual (moon conjunct uranus) sports, she will excel and she can use all those aspects constructively.

Looking at our synastry, it's not the greatest. Her Saturn is unaspected. We have moon trine sun and moon sextile sun. Also moon sesiquid (? ) uranus

^^^ You have a double whammy of moon and sun positive aspects so that's great. You 2 should get along swimmingly. Do make an effort to not actualize the moon saturn opposition in her chart, but some of it is also going to be up to her.

I agree with those who said to get grandma involved if possible, and let her do most of the disciplining.

I have a wide Moon/Saturn opposition, and growing up I loved my mother, she was everything to me. I was stuck to my mother like glue.

However, now that I'm 19 I can't get away from her, lol. She's always trying to be right up under me, and it's a bit annoying. "Where are you going? What are you doing? Come hug me... Why won't you hug me? Do you hate me?"

Gahhhh, woman, leave me alone!!!

I can sit here and diss my mother about all of the "horrible" things she has done to me, but no one is perfect. She has her flaws, but she always gave me her best.

If there was anything I could change about my mother, I'd be her temperament. The older she gets, the more volatile she becomes, but I think that has more to do with her own natal chart. She doesn't seem to get along with anyone..

I was also adopted, and my birth mother and I don't have the closet relationship.

I think this aspect might mean that she is a bit hypersensitive to the things you do as a mother.. Normal things like telling her she can't go out, or grounding her might bother her more than someone without the aspect.

Side note: my mother has nothing but easy aspects to her Libra moon - including a sextile to her Saturn, and she only has negative things to say about her mother.

Geez, I can see myself like this. She is definitely stuck to me, and always wants me near her. And is hypersensitive for sure. Her moon is in Pisces, so sensitive indeed.

my friend has moon opposite saturn.

when she was a child and a teenager, her mother was a bit controlling. And emotionaly distant. Not very helpfull at all.

However, now they are very close. she adores her mom. They spend days together just chatting.. ( my friend is 42 )

So... maybe at the very beginning you might start with the wrong foot but you can correct your steps further down the road and at the end all shall be fine.

You know she is VERY feisty and has a big personality! I forgot she also has moon square Jupiter. No easy aspects whatsoever lol.

It's funny you say that. When she is older I actually do want to get her into sports. I can see her loving it. She also has Mars in the first.

Do pay attention to the orbs of those aspects. I wouldn't give too much attention to anything over 5 orb unless it's a conjunction, the effects will be diluted. So she may not have all those aspects you're worrying about.

I know one person with the Moon/Saturn square (which is more difficult than the opposition), and he has a very good relationship with his mother.

I don't really think the Moon/Saturn opposition would make you a bad mother, though it could indicate that maybe the mother was very concerned with finances/payments/career. If there is a nice trine or sextile to the opposition, I would not worry at all because there is a very easy, positive outlet for the energy.
