without knowing too much about it? Or they just assume like they know what's going on when they don't always?------------------ My Chart! ^^Thought I'd add that not only do I see people do that in the negative sense all the time, but also in the positive sense...or I should say they're tricked into trusting the wrong people or playing into their hands all too easily just as it is for people to get the wrong idea and judge harshly. And as for how bad it is for how people judge harshly without knowing the facts...not only was one of the homeless people I worked with often judged to be a drunk (when he didn't drink or drug at all) due to some spinal injury that made him walk funny (and get told at stores that he can't be there while intoxicated) but even going to clinics was a problem because doctors assumed he was there to scam drugs despite that he never asked for painkillers and even asked not to get them (as they don't work for him but do make him feel nauseous). And plenty of others there put up with similar things from society all the time.
Oh, my favorite was when a school in Goose Creek (South Carolina) was raided by police because "someone smelled pot" and despite all the school cams, kids with hands up while cops pointed guns at them, and drug dogs went through and lockers & packs searched...no drugs were found but people commenting on it back then were sure that school was full of drugs! (But at the same time also believed the kids there were too stupid and spoiled to make anything of themselves despite being able to defeat the security tactics of a prison for hardened criminals, and trick drug sniffing dogs when even people could supposedly smell it.) But I could go on for pages and pages how people assume the worst over the least reasons, I was just pointing out the above on how ridiculous it gets. Of course it's even more common in lesser ways. Some of them just as absurd and ridiculous...it's one reason I tend to be skeptical about people talking about how perfect their intuition is because in my experience so many talking about that are just plain ignorant who are just bigoted (though some is just a wild imagination) rather than intuitive. And that does include about sons, daughters, spouses, significant others, neighbors, fellow employees and classmates, and all that. (ETA: Maybe later I'll tell you about the game "rumors" me and some kids played back in school. At least ours weren't mean and we'd come clean, and we stopped playing it after one rumor grew in an upsetting way that we never intended, which is more than what many people of all ages do. Bottom line: people are gullible.) So yeah, about everyone. At least enough that it seems like it to me. IP: Logged |

^Agreed.Honestly I think a lot of people have good reason to be mistrustful and judging. Most of the people that jump the gun and judge without knowing much about a situation have been through experiences that make it so. It takes a lot of effort to remain unjaded. So to add to that, I would say the people that judge without knowing tend to be the protective sensitive placements. But still, eveyone judges based on their own personal experiences. Some people will say their intuition is perfect when in reality they are only choosing to open their eyes to the facts that support their "intuition." For example if your intuition tells you someone is bad and you ignore all their good qualities and only focus on their bad ones. That is not real intuition. And I dont really count a hunch about someone as real intuition either unless its like.. you had a hunch they were a car stealing cat murderer and it turned out to be true. But not "I have a baaadd feeling about him" kinda stuff. IP: Logged |

yes SAG, can be very judgemental and not know any facts before they think to judge. BUT however, its very interesting because not only SAG can be judgemental and i know this sounds weird but so can GEMINI.....i know its a little weird because GEMINI is known to get the facts right before judgement but better think twice about GEMINI's as well. i've come across lots of GEMINI's who are veeeery judgemental and SAG's as well who dont know anything about the facts. for instance my friend who judged and told me astrology is BS but proved him that he was wrong because he has not taken the time to REALLY study and investigate what Astrology really is about. Plus he's a Liar. He's a virgo sun, mercury in virgo, venus virgo, MARS IN EARLY GEMINI. his mars in gemini is afflicted its squaring his venus in virgo. another girl from my school tends to judge a lot and is suuuuuper religious (chirstian) and she's a 100% holy bible believer. she's a sun in gemini opposite her moon in saggitarrius HOWEVER she is a little more open minded then this virgo guy BUT she still will go back to her faith and i do feel like i can't talk about my spiritual occult practices because her energy just starts to switch to judgemental MODE yet she says she's open about it but i dont believe it..... my other friend is veeeery open about spirtuality but again she denies and questions a lot about astrology and my spiritual occuly practice and also struggles to find her own faith (she's atheist) she struggles because of her jupiter virgo Retrograde conjuct her IC but people with this aspect to find there faith later on there life and that is true. she a triple aries with mcerucy R aries, however her 9th house cusp is in AQUARIUS and her saturn is in her 9th house so she is the type of person that needs the facts straight when it comes to religion and unknown topics and philosophy, she is judgemental for sure and doesnt really take the time to study a subject UNLESS its been PROVEN however she says she's open minded but maybe that's cause she wants to please everyone due to her GEMINI ASC and her SUN,MOON in the 11th house. (she's super popular). anyways I do judge and make assumptions of people i so do BUT however i do not judge anyone's faith and culture background as that is something that should be 100% respected just like i would want someone to respect my faith and my own research and beliefs in the occult practice i will RESPECT YOURS as i see the world as a beautiful multi cultural philosphical place IMO. Capricorn judgments:* You're not doing that right. * That's going to backfire on you. * Did you even read the whole manual? * That's not what the experts told me. * That's unnatural. * God hates that. * It just looks tacky. * Would it kill you to use commas? * You're just wrong. If you can't see it...pfftttt....your problem, not mine. * OMG that is such a WASTE. * Please don't talk louder than the other people are talking. Please conform nicely when you are standing by me. Hello? Posture! * He bought me a Wal-Mart gift card. * YES my dog is full pedigree (a$$hole) * Oh....uh-huh...polyester....yeah I'm sure you had a good reason. IP: Logged |

Capricorn is not especially guilty of this because we hate being wrong so much, we usually do take the time to get our facts straight before offering an opinion. However sometimes we are so eager to voice our "wisdom" that we will make snap judgments and see things in black and white, when they are grey. The older we get the less we do it, I think. My Cap friend who is almost 70 told me that she looks at every situation through a lens of, "What would love have me do here?" She still hates cheap fabrics, though. IP: Logged |
