My sister has this natal placement and she is "serious" about having fun.But she is also serious about things such as romance and love. Well, maybe "serious" is not quite the accurate word to describe her reaction to 5th house things. But she is sober-minded when it comes to this area of life. It could be that she learned some pretty harsh lessons within this regards at a very young age? I also think that Saturn is where we learn to "grow up fast" and so in the 5th, we learn that true romance should also be very "down to earth". What I do appreciate about this placement is that she can bring "fun" into everyday living. IP: Logged |

I have a friend with this placement with her Saturn in Aries. She's very expressive and fun to be around. Although, she's 19 and hasn't had any relationships. IP: Logged |

It might take you a lot of work to get things out there, but they'll have a lot of meat to them when you do. My opinion. There is a lot else that can give you a proclivity towards a creative career other than a Mercury/Neptune trine... Would help to see your chart to identify more dynamics here.
yes i understand thank you yungang this was soon helpful all of what you said i will definitely keep everything you have said to account. i know there is something karmic towards my creativity indeed and finding a way to express it. i think i can learn to express myself but i have to learn HOW to do it and to not let my saturn bulge in so much and get in the way i have to be aware of what is saturn bringing me as in blocking me in order to express my creativity and to not be afraid of being on the stage presenting my material i have to learn to not take it so serious as to just have FUN with it ! but seriousness does aid in with creativity indeed it surtaxes and stabilizes my creativity when it comes to business affairs and such. Everything was Magnificent what you wrote!!! xxxx and i' ll definitely read Dana's articles for sure!!! ------------------ Sun Capricorn, Moon Aries, Libra Rising IP: Logged |

I have Saturn in 5th/Aquarius. Combined with my Virgo rising, Virgo Sun and Mercury in the 1st, it's easy to assume I don't know how to have fun and, as indicated above, try to present myself as mature. That's far from reality though. I grew up singing, dancing and playing instruments in public venues. I'm a bit of a comedian. I dabble in arts, attending writers workshops in high school and designing my own clothes in college, but my work is not in the arts. Creativity is still important to me and something my friends appreciate. They also appreciate that I'm crazy and fearless, with a sick and twisted sense of humor. Don't get me wrong. I have a serious ... serious side, too. When it comes to romance I can choose to stay out of the game or choose to go serious. The option of FWB or casual dating, including dating multiple people, just does not work for me. It's like asking a fish to walk on land. I also see Saturn in 5th associated with the life lessons I have learned through my relationships with my children. A lot of how Saturn in the 5th impacts us is dependent on what else is going on in our charts. My Saturn conjuncts my S Node but is unaspected beyond that. This placement worried me some when I was younger but it's not been a bad thing/limiting factor, imo. Uranus and Pluto conjunct my Sun and my Leo Moon is in the 11th. Mars is in my 10th house, governed by Gemini. IP: Logged |
