Of all the people there he knew you would wake him from the grave, briefly, because you would see and hear him. What's fascinating is how his spirit was aware of your spirit, and it's...consciousness (?) in this world. IP: Logged |

Yes. ^^ Well said.
He must've seen that I was open and just followed me home. This gets into a long story because it's like a portal was opened that day, and many scary things happened before the portal closed again. That was when Jupiter was transiting my 12H. Maybe other spirits saw him with me and that started some kind of thing. I feel like he left, and other spirits came. That's off topic, though. v2t, thanks for saying you'd like to meet the emotional me. Not sure how? Maybe we can try to dream in sync! @bananaz ~ I agree, being that open all the time must be draining, to say the least. It's so interesting you had the experience, though! In a few years, my progressed sun will enter Pisces while tr Neptune is conjunct my moon. My progressed moon will be in Scorpio for much of this drama. I have wondered what that will be like. Problem is, I can get so enthralled with the spiritual dimension that I just cannot cope with "real life"...because it stops making sense to me. It just doesn't click at all. No wonder I resort to "escapism"...I'm looking for a little more sanity, is all. Meh...I'm going off topic. Sweet dreams, everyone. IP: Logged |

I think my 12th house Mercury conjunct Jupiter in Leo, with Sun in 12th Cancer, give my dreams a focus on communication. My mother has a spiritual teacher who because of his many responsibilities and students is not easily accessible. But he and I communicate often, openly, and affectionately in my dreams. They are conversations of the heart. You could say they are predictions of his next lectures, or that they actually occur in another realm. Doesn't matter. I love them.. I have 2 family members that have passed and continue to send me messages through dreams. Dreams tell me the secrets behind the veils of this world. Dreams show me the things I can't see in this waking reality. I have Neptune in Sag like Pixie, and I travel, but not for adventure, for information gathering. Dreaming is a practice and a skill. I am very busy with work and my sleep is constantly interrupted with the overnight work I do, so I don't really dream right now (sad face) IP: Logged |

I've had some strange metaphysical dreams, one that seemed to join with other people and all. One is scary. But I feel like sharing one of my favorite if puzzling dreams where I think I somehow fell into someone else's dreamscape/mind.It was one inspired by all those Left Behind books and chick tracts (Revelations, 666, Antichrist, rapture, etc) and I was bemused by how saintly the Christians were, like a bunch of Mother Theresas and as the melodramatic forces of Satan sought to make them martyrs (just like in the Chick tracts and "Left Behind" books & movies) I stood up for them against the bullies. Long story short while Christians cringed I fought back, twisted an assault rifle from the grip of one New Worlder and used it to great effect on the others who were not expecting that (because in this version Christians don't fight back, they just pray and stuff) but then a Satanist with demonic powers was there and cast a spell that caused the rifle to get really hot in my hands so I had to throw it down. I was mad (with all the fury of a 17-year-old which I was then) and yelled, "Want to play with fire, huh!? FIREBALL!" And then I threw a Dungeons & Dragons fireball (a game I was playing that year)...pretty much like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8I5ifBB_XXc As the fireball cleared the entire scene was "stuck" or "frozen" and there was no noise or anything. I called out and waved my hands in front of people's faces and got no reaction until I realized this was a dream and I forced myself to wake up where I had the distinct impression I'd accidentally slipped into someone else's dream or dreamscape and "broke the rules" of it so that it literally did not know what to do when I brought my own rules into it (and froze like a computer game without the software to compensate). Sharing about that with friends was when I heard even stranger stories from others and some do believe that the dream lands are not strictly within our own minds but that they're like islands in a psychic ocean and that sometimes one can find one's self on the "wrong island" or the islands mix. I can't say much about my placements at the time, but I do know that Pluto was in Sag while Uranus & Neptune were in Aquarius (natally, my Pluto is in Libra while Uranus & Neptune are in Sag). I thought I'd share the one unquestionably precognitive dream I had, one that was literally true...almost...and I actually KNEW there was something mystical about it.In the dream I left the library at night and passed the Catholic church on the way home with the church all lit up for Christmas. An orange cat begged for food and I went home, got food, and brought it back for the cat. It was so vivid and just FELT real...and yet I didn't see how it could be because the library would not be open on Christmas which had been like a month ago. Months later I was walking home with some groceries and passed the library (which was closed), and continued on. I had the strange deja vu as I saw the Catholic church lit up, but it wasn't Christmas, it was Easter. And the rest happened as in the dream with the orange cat and me bringing back food. Why? There are so many other times that a precognitive dream would've been useful. As it was, that dream changed NOTHING. I'm actually more intrigued by what the few piddling details the dream got wrong than what it got right. I also asked around about the cat and found out that the cat belonged to a couple who went on a long vacation, and apparently not wanting the cat to mess up the house they locked him out. When they finally returned the cat moved back in. IP: Logged |

Cap sun/asc Aries moonMy dreams are vivid, often fantastical and colourful. Dreaming feels like living in another world. Sometimes I wake up feeling extremely drained. This is especially true when I have bad dreams. I get "signs" sometimes. Occasionally they come in the form of dreams. I'd dream of stuff that seem random or not worth noting, but later they'd play out in some way, shape or form. I've had nightmares before bad events occurred - like before the 11/9, I dreamed of what felt like earthquakes and being unable to breathe. There were dreams before I met my s.o. One of those was a recurring one where I played in the snow and wearing/finding a red beanie. I didn't think much of it coz I had never seen snow in real life, and didn't have any interest in it. Later it turned out that he lived in an area with a lot of snow, and he always wore a red beanie during winter. Ah there were plenty of dreams about our meeting and about us being together. Most of them were vague and I couldn't understand what they meant, until after we entered a relationship. IP: Logged |

For ages my dreams almost always came true. I dream about everything before it happens. So does my mother which is even worst, no one can hide a thing from her, she's like an antenna. I am a Capricorn Sun, Scorpio Moon and Pisces AC. I am an 8th and 12th house person. Scorpio Moon in the 8th house, Aquarius Mercury and Venus in the 12th house. My 4th house cusp is in Gemini and my 7th house cusp in 7th, so these two are connected with my Mercury. My Neptune is in the 10th house and is connected to my Pisces AC. As for my mother she has a Pisces Moon in the 12th, very strong!IP: Logged |

I think my dreams often stem from my mercury/mars conjunction in the 12th. Not only are they conjunct but parallel as well! My dreams are often violent, strange, and sometimes both! Sometimes only strange. It might be surprising but sex dreams are very few and far between, really uncommon for me. IP: Logged |

I'm sure there's something there. Maybe it's symbolic.

I've been studying my dream code since I was a child. For me, the accuracy of details in a dream is directly connected to my emotional state, and what my emotions will allow me to see. For example, if I need to know that I am out of balance, I will see my mother in that twisted state, since I am more willing to see her flaws than my own. Every new man in my life comes to me as my first love until he begins to "live" in my subconscious. Even the seemingly unimportant can be altered because for some reason I need to see it differently, until I'm ready for the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but. I've started to see precognition as a ... memory (I know), and incorrect details as remembering it wrong, the way Cancers sometimes like to do... IP: Logged |

Yes, it definitely feels powerful to wake up! Uranus is traveling through my first house. Maybe he has something to do with it? The first time it happened I woke up screaming to my husband I'd been shot. He must've thought I was crazy. There was another time I dreamt it was a really loud firework. It amazes me how REAL it sounds and then you wake up and realize it was all in your head. It's enough to make you think you ARE crazy lol I read that the connectors in your brain are misfiring when it happens, but I think astrology plays a large part. This thread proves types of dreams come and go, like the violent ones, emotional ones, etc.

I love this topic! Scorpio ASC / Capricorn Sun / Sagittarius Moon Neptune conjunct Sun and Mercury I think Neptune has a lot to do with dreams. I am heavily Pisces influenced, too, because of my Jupiter/Mars in Pisces being so heavily aspected. My dreams are vivid, active colorful, and very random. When I was a child, I had really fun dreams where I could fly, float, and see amazing otherwordly beings. I also had MANY lucid dreams as a child. Sometimes my dreams were scary..I remember having dreams of being chased by werewolves. As an adolescent, I began journaling my dreams and they became less fun and involved more people. Still very vivid and out-there. I started having re-occurring dreams about being attacked by sharks. In those dreams, I felt intense pain that would wake me up. The pain always happened in my torso on the right side. Sometimes in the dream, the shark wouldn't even attack me..all I had to do was LOOK at the shark and I would feel that intense pain and wake up. As an adult, my dreams are still vivid and even more random now. They contain a lot of animals. My anxiety and fears show up in my dreams a lot and I think a lot of suppressed childhood anger/tension has been appearing in my 20s. Sometimes my dreams are incredibly violent. In my dreams, I have brutally murdered most members of my family. My dreams also became extremely sexual and disturbing. Most of my violent dreams are about my mother and sister. I love them all dearly but I have had big communication issues and fights with my mom and sis. My boring/mundane dreams are the ones that come true later. For instance, I may have a dream about tornados and the next day someone will talk to me about tornados. I would like to open up my psychic abilities more so that I recognize those prophetic dreams more. At times I have felt like I've communicated with loved ones who have passed on. Those dreams are very surreal and eerie. I will also have dreams in which I think, "I've dreamt this before" even though I haven't...yet inside the dream, I remember all sorts of other "dreams" that in waking life, I don't remember. It's hard to explain. ------------------ Wherever you go, there you are. Scorpio ASC Capricorn Sun Sagittarius Moon Sagittarius Mercury Scorpio Venus Pisces Mars

The people closest to me (best friends, and boyfriends I've had) have always teased me hardcore for my trippy dreams. I have INSANE dreams. A lot of times they are branching from very realistic things going on in my life already, but sometimes, man.. I have no clue.Sun in Capricorn Moon in Libra Asc in Aquarius But I actually think it has more to do with the fact that I have an extremely active 8th house and 12th house. Meditation and hypnosis have been powerful things for me in my life.

Sag Sun (1st house), Gemini Moon (8th house), Scorpio Rising (Pluto in Scorpio in 12th house).Nightmares. My entire life I have dreamt nightmares and weirds things. Monsters puking up humans in pools of acid, scalps bubbling with blood and shampoo, sexual orgies in hell where people get sodomized by demons, swarms of insects (recurring), pools filled with spinning blades and people falling in, the list goes on. I dream several detailed dreams per night and sleep in 4 hour intervals. I sleep very light. When I wake I am usually not able to move or open my eyes whatsoever despite being fully awake. There is an overwhelming feeling of fear. If I manage to speak (which is very difficult), I finally can move. I occasionally have dreams that are not nightmares in conjunction with the nightmares. These tend to come to reality days later. I have no idea what placement causes any of this. IP: Logged |

Sorry to hear about your experiences. Have you tried cleansing your bedroom with sage? Do you watch a lot of horror movies? Where is mars in your chart? I could picture mars in the 12th causing something like this. Also I know its cliche-- but i sometimes get nightmares like that if I eat before bed.

Hi bananaz, I have moved a lot (and I mean a lot) in my life and it's always the same thing. I'll move to a new place and for the first month I am fine but then the nightmares start again...like I'm being followed and it just takes time for "it" (whatever is causing bad dreams) to find me. I never watch horror (ever). I think having these nightmares all my life make me view it differently from others so I don't watch them. As a child I use to wake up in the middle of the night screaming like a banshee through the halls. Now they are expected so I just deal. Mars is actually in my 7th house in Gemini. The funny thing is I do eat a lot before I sleep (so not so cliche after-all). I'm sort of a compulsive / binge eater (despite being rather skinny). The thing is there have been times where I don't eat before sleeping and it happens anyway. I think I will try the sage though. I was actually going to start a whole thread on this trying to find answers /help but was hesitant because of how weird it is. Then I saw this thread and just decided to post here. IP: Logged |

Not weird at all. I wish I had more answers for you, but maybe someone with more experience will chime in. Definitely try the sage, though be prepared for a day or 2 of the "dust settling" if that makes sense. You could also try reiki or some other self-healing treatment. A few years back I went through an intense period of anger/bitterness (which is strange for me because Im naturally mellow). So I went to an acupunturist who gave me an herbal supplement on top of the acupuncture. I was skeptical, but after a week or 2, I felt like my old self again. It may not even be something following you, per se, but maybe hidden resentments causing deep internal negativity. In any case, i hope you get some answers. IP: Logged |

@LittleBlackCat,Have you researched night terrors/sleep paralysis? I used to have these experiences nightly for years starting at about the age of 12. I still get them on occasion, usually when I'm really exhausted and fall into a dream state immediately after falling asleep. I can wake up repeatedly, but fall right back into the same horrific dream state. I also wake up paralyzed, unable to scream, with a dark/demonic presence in the room. Physically, during these paralyzed episodes, part of your brain is awake and part of your brain is dreaming(hallucinating). I think that science cannot accurately describe what is really happening here, and after years of experiencing it firsthand, I have my own theories about what is really happening. Having these experiences has made me believe in dark energies/demonic spirits that are able to invade your thoughts during certain phases of sleep. Just as spirit guides/benevolent spirits can communicate during these same sleep phases. Now when I have these scary night terrors, I ask out loud for protection from my spirit guides. It works. I hardly ever have this happen anymore, and when it does I become aware(lucid) and I'm able to "chase" away the bad energy. I hope this helps. I feared sleep for years because of similar experiences. @bananaz I must admit I have never really tried much besides re-arranging my room to change the energy. I have never recieved acupuncture but definitely thought about trying it (even more so now that you've shared your experience). [q] It may not even be something following you, per se, but maybe hidden resentments causing deep internal negativity. [/q] This is definitely possible because I have a lot of internal resentment about various things/situations. For example I had a surgery go wrong when I was 11 and it left me with some nerve-damage along with quite a few other things. Physically I appear perfectly fine to others but I experience a lot of crippling headaches/pain/etc that make me bitter and angry at times. IP: Logged |

@Bluejay Wow, it's amazing that you've heard of sleep paralysis. This is indeed what I experience but I figured people wouldn't know what it was anyway so I just described the experience instead. I have researched it many times but with little help as a result. Interesting you should mention demonic energies because back on the island that is what my grandmother and family consider it to be. It is rather difficult to deal with as I do not look forward to sleep even when very tired. I always hear about people having nice dreams and I can't identify. It is amazing that calling for protection has helped you, I am going to try a form of this and see if it works. IP: Logged | |
