Whenever people go on and on about how success requires hard work and persistence, I want to punch a wall. Because that's hardly the whole story.I worked extremely hard at becoming a musician, from when I was 9 right through getting my Bachelor's in music, only to end up having a horrendous mental health crisis that destroyed my chance at having a career in music. Why? Because I had to fight every step of the way with nearly no support from anyone. Support from others matters a lot in success. People don't just plug away at their goals and at some point it magically pays off. Other people help, be it family, friends, mentors, and others who believe in you and help open doors for you, look out for opportunities for you or help you land a break. There's only so much discouragement, rejection and disappointment you can shoulder on your own, only so many opportunities you can make happen for yourself on your own, no matter how determined and tough you are. I know. So look for aspects that can attract help, encouragement and support from others. Most successful people have a few. if not a lot, of them. I don't have many myself, to be honest. The 11th house speaks to a specific drive to attain success and recognition, to reap benefits and see goals come to completion and gain recognition. It can also give the support from the collective. For some people success means having lots of money; for others it's having lots of friends; for others it is finding a thing they love and having time to do it; for others it is raising a happy family when their childhood was hard. What about someone that has mainly hard aspects to Jupiter? My Jupiter in Leo in the 9th squares sun, Mercury, Venus, Pluto and ascendant. Mars sextiles Jupiter. My 9th house ruler, moon is in 6th. I feel like everything is a struggle for me and I have to work that extra bit harder! IP: Logged |
