The only people that seem to have an easy time with me are Gem and Pisces influenced ones.

On a negative note-if above is positive-is that I confuse the s*** out of myself most of the times

Most importantly: I do what I do when I want to do it! I won't conform to society or any other BS. You say go left-I go right.

Uranus is opposite my Moon, trine Sun and Venus, and square my Asc and Mercury. Uranus is in a good sign so I feel that even with the square I too am comfortable with what it brings. My actions and decisions can be sudden, unexpected, and contradictory but I just really don't care what anyone thinks about what I do. I don't care about anyone except my loved ones. I don't want to hurt them, especially the children in my life, so I've learned to communicate very openly with the people I love. I didn't always communicate well, but I've learned that an explanation of my new perspective is very helpful, and overall the people I love understand that the freedom I take is freedom I will give. I love Uranus.

Uranus in 4th house, fixed Scorpio gives the children in my life the feeling that I'm a little different (no very different and unconventional), but that I am always there for them, and where their needs are concerned they can count on me to be reliable and consistent. I recently discussed with my 13 year old something new I want to do. I wanted to know how the children would feel about this change. My 13 year old said, you've always done your own thing, and you've always taken care of us. We trust you .

Lol. It's late (early) and I guess I want to talk about my children, lol.

People see and hear me, but they don't "really".

Yeah. I see this as very 12th house. My Sun; now you see her, now you don't. I can't do both at the Same time, but I can totally see a 12th house Capricorn personal having the ability to do this.

In friendship and relationships, I'm perhaps too eager to show my bad sides. This is confusing for some too. Most like to put their best foot forward. I show the psycho that resides in the wasteland of my mind. Again, I attribute this to cap placements and the 12th house.

My Leo Mercury on my Asc conjunct Jupiter is ALWAYS telling on me, literally telling on me. So you'll get a lot of crazy stuff like my first post if I don't know you or we're just getting to know each other, but if I love you or I want to share love with you I try to let you into my 12th house where Mercury sits. Not the same exactly as what you do, but I can relate.

I also have Saturn in Sag conjunct my Scorpio Ascendant so I appear to be way more serious that I actually am about most things and having Mercury in Cancer compounds that affect. Everything I say comes out with an extra dose of passion, no matter how minute.

I've had people tell me "don't take yourself so seriously" and been totally confused as to what they were referring to due to the difference in my intent and actual expression. I am often frustrated by people's (mis)perceptions of me.

This is where it is true that you can't judge a book by it's cover, and false that 1st impressions are accurate.

What you describe actually sounds like a work of art with those sharp contrasts, and hidden surprises.

As a Cancer Sun/Venus I'm intrigued by Cancer Mercury. My mother is an 8th house Cancer Mercury, and she has a hard time explaining things in a way logical and grounded people can understand, but if a person can make the extra effort to try and understand her, they will find that she is brilliant, tapped into a deep and almost ancient well of wisdom. She also has Jupiter there in Cancer...

Vedic gives me a Cancer Merc and Jupiter too. I like this Mercury.

I have a love hate relationship with my Mercury. Its always in the 8th house, but conjunct moon in leo, so it makes me appear dramatic and hypersensitive whenever I have a strong opinion about something. Explaining things to other people for me goes better when writing. I have to mentally translate everything that I think in a way that logical minded people can understand, which is sometimes hard because I'm intuitive and can't always know WHY I know.

I've always found this to be a pretty awkward combo:

I have some of those aspects in my natal chart:

Sun conjunct Jupiter AND Saturn
Mercury Quintile Mars
Venus Square Mars (not tight, 6 degrees)

For me, the Sun aspects are super awkward. One wants to shine and the other is too serious and self-limiting. It's like a tug-a-war between the two energies. An inner turmoil of whether to play and be social or sit out and be a wall flower because of self constraint and self consciousness. The tighter aspect tends to win.

Venus conjunct Uranus:

I call this one "The Sudden Departure." I have settled down with a couple of men, only to suddenly leave the relationships after having an epiphany.

I tend to devote a lot of time and energy to my relationships. I do whatever I can to make them work. I tolerate some flaws and provide support because "he" is giving me the one thing I crave, love. I have a 7th house Venus in Scorpio. Don't think that I can just be flippant and leave. I hold the candle for a long time. I'm talking years. Even when it's flickering and dying out, I endure. Because of these reasons, when I leave it's a shock to my partners. Venus/Uranus breaks the bond when I wake up and see that the things I have tolerated never change. I cannot tolerate them anymore. More often than not, they take advantage of me because I'm doing most of the work. I am DEVOTION even after the bread has gone stale. So when I decide to leave 4+ years relationships without much fuss, explanations, or guilt, when I can leave so easily while they cry...that is what leaves them bewildered.

Yeah, that's sounds exactly like it. I think "conflicted" sums it up nicely. Having an air Sun and Moon probably helps to rationalize some of the sting out of it though.

I'm also guessing the rest of our charts are pretty similar since Saturn and Jupiter are slow-movers and we have some of the same Venus-Mars aspects. (Libra Sun, Aqua Moon, Taurus Asc., Scorp Mercury RX here.) So um... happy belated birthday, eh?
