In the current World Order the USA has all the power with no true rival. Thus, you must deal with them to get anything done. See, Iran.

The Old World Order was bi-polar with the West/USA having to share power with the Communists. Thus, you didn't have to give in to American demands if their offer was bad, you had other options. See, Egypt.

The Order before that was multi-polar with the various European empires (Spanish, French, Dutch, British, Russian, German, Ottoman...American). Thus, you could choose from among a handful of countries to trade with. So, after beating off the British, they couldn't cripple the USA with sanctions because USA had trading partners in Spanish Empire, & French Empire.

A New World Order is a world ordered in a such a way that the USA must share power (at its kindest), and not have access to every other country's resources (natural, human, intellectual) for free.

If you're Palestine, or Iran you want a New World Order because the current one sucks; it's unjust, usury, unfair.

I refuse to sit back and accept, we use to have more people like me. But they all die off or disappear. Screw this world and its principles. We all deserve better and we need to realize that.

That response of mine sounded awfully apathetic

What I meant to say was that many people don't see the logic of giving attention to something that is unwanted.

Most would rather buiry their heads in the sand and say things like "I'll be dead when this and that happens anyway. So I don't see why I should fuss?"

This is what causes the; "It just doesn't affect me"-mentality.
