Hi Ami I have Mars in the 7th house. I'm a scrapper, I fight back, usually verbally. (Mars/Gemini) like angel, I have Mars square Mercury (part of a T-Square with Saturn/1st) which is a hyper active aspect or high energy. When Mars is sitting on an angle it will try to lead, your angle planets are what you see first in someone's personality. nice thread. ------------------ "There ain't no revolution, only evolution, but every time I'm in Georgia I 'eat a peach' for peace." quote: Mars conj the IC, tell me your stories.
(Wide conjunction, Leo Mars in the 4H) I admit I related to the word "warlike" but only psychologically. I felt a warlike communication with my father. But I have never ever been abused or mistreated by family ever (excluding bullying at school not by others either). My father is basically Saturn and our back-and-forth feels like a Saturn/Mars relationship - me playing the role of Mars. His personality is very practical and detached but through my eyes I see it as grumpy, cold and arrogant. I often get petulant with him and want to start a fight on purpose. He was good father but a serious father. I wanted love, adoration and indulgence (which I got from my mother but I wanted it from him too) and I feel childish anger that he was never loving with me. (Note: his Saturn does square my Scorpio stellium and maybe very widely opposes Mars) Other than that I've had a wonderful childhood and a great relationship with my parents especially my mother. With my father as well - the problem is a clash with our personalities. It actually started happening when I became a mature self-aware adult. There's a lot of stuff going on with my Mars but what I could say about it being near the IC is this - buried anger. A lot of it. I feel a lot of fire, aggressiveness and other Mars like sensations but they can never come out. It's like they're trapped in purgatory. I've also noticed that the closer I am with a person the easier it is for me to express these feelings. This is not always good because my Mars is badly aspected so many of said feelings are immature. What I'm trying to say is that it's easier for me to express anger and dominance with a close person than with a stranger or acquaintance. I don't even think I'm capable with the latter. IP: Logged |

How does it change the angular expression of the Mars if it doesn't fall in the angular house?I have Mars conj. Asc. 0°, but my Mars sits on the 12th house side of my Asc. It acts like a 12th house Mars, but I'm often very Aries-like, also. My Mars is conj. my 1st house S. Node 2°, and I have an Aries MC, so those add to my Aries tendencies, too. I'm just wondering what the differences are with my Mars-Asc. 0° conjunction being on the 12th side vs. 1st side. Is it why I feel guilty if I act in an Aries-like way? I love the freedom I feel when I'm able to express myself fully or act with assertiveness, but I always end up feeling guilty or like I was being selfish. I often feel a sense of guilt if I put my needs first and struggle with that, and I think if my Mars sat on the 1st house side instead of 12th, then I wouldn't wrestle with that guilt. My N.Node is in my 7th conj. Desc., so I always feel pulled to put other's needs first. It leads to some inner confliction for me. IP: Logged |

If a planet is in the 12th, within 10 degrees of the ASC, it is counted as 1st house, not 12th House imo------------------ Want to Read Simple, Fun,Sexy Articles on Astrology? Check Me Out, DUDE. http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/
