Oops. Easy OR hard for you. It's only easy for me, if I'm having fun with the new habit. When I tried drinking a green juice (with no fruit in it) almost twenty years ago, I drank a quart of it, three times a week, because I'd read that it would help my eyesight. The first time I made it, though, I alternated sips of the green sludge with orange juice, in order to get it down. I've been trying to change some habits over the past year or so, and even bought a book about it earlier this year. My Capricorn sister had one maybe twelve years ago, and I'd hoped to borrow it. I had to wait for her to finish, since it was a workbook, and I never did get around to using it myself. The book I bought this year was Better Than Before, by the author who wrote The Happiness Project, which I loved. I also tend to associate new starts with Spring, and my birthday, or just before (since it's in April). So I'm having a bit of trouble shifting into that mindset, now that it's October. IP: Logged |

Thanks, Randall. I had hoped for some responses to this, but I can't remember if I started a similar thread earlier this year. My brain - I used to have a good memory, but it literally feels fried now.IP: Logged |

I suppose this would tie into the recent Mars thread - on action/inaction. There are things that I wanted to achieve back in January - things that others would probably consider nothing, and have finished in an afternoon. Maybe Mercury/the mind, would also be involved, since it's something taking me down either physically or mentally, that stops me - a lack of energy, being sick, or depression.IP: Logged |

Both I'd say. It's hard for me to decide that I need to change, and getting to it, but once I've put my mind, I rarely stop until I've changed what I needed to. Which is quite a difference to my "never finish anything" habit IP: Logged |

It's easy for me if it makes logical sense to me... In fact, I usually become unhealthily obsessed with the new habit.. even if it is a healthy habit lol (virgo moon)BUT I am also very stubborn. I have to come to the conclusion that the change makes sense on a spiritual level and a physical/logical level simultaneously or else... I just won't IP: Logged |

Bump for the Cappy full moon. Still having trouble with this, although being at the hospital so much, for a while, really helped me to ignore what wasn't important. Unfortunately, I've been alone *a lot* since dad went back to work, and mum has been at the hospital all the time. It's doing my head in. So, Cappy full moon happening in my third... I'm going to see if I can make a few little resolutions, and stick to them. IP: Logged |
