I've experienced this.
I've looked and looked and just couldn't find much that pointed to that specifically. What I came up with is our sun/moon conjunction and their Venus in my 8th, trine my Venus. It still boggles me because it was intense, yet, they are not really at all what I typically like, physically. The attraction itself was very physical! As for a natal of someone who does this a lot.

A true case of "beauty is in the eye of the beholder" especially when something is compelling you that you can't explain, even when you know they aren't attractive by traditional standards.In my case it was the familiarity, the comfort, the heart and the same sense of humour. I must say that's anything Aries for me. They hit my 8H and it's just....I cannot stay away despite that they might be lacking a little in the looks department. Almost all men and boyfriends have had prominent Aries placements. My husband is one. IP: Logged |

Some strong mars aspects make me wanna jump their bones- regardless of what they look like. I also gravitate towards people with a "lighter" energy... Aquarians, Geminis.. If they have a fun, playful energy that is so attractive to me, regardless of physical looks IP: Logged |

Lol, that's quite true though. Definitely Mars stuff, especially Mars/Moon. 8H as well, although it doesn't have to be 'sexual' (it can create a kind of weird, magnetic pull that doesn't seem to make sense). Sometimes 12H, but only if the above elements are present.

I dont know. This has happened a lot to me. Where the person isnt the kind of person I would consider physically attractive but they are just SO attractive to me. And they dont reaaally have things in common with eachother... And its not like... we got to know eachothe either so its not really an attraction to their personality or sense of humor or emotions.. i still dont know them... Maybe its my natal? Im guessing maybe my venus conj neptune tends to project onto them and I feel hypnotized. Also a lot of people in my generation have pluto aspects with me lol.When I first met my boyfriend I wasnt interested in him but he had this really weird really strong pull on me. Even without ever saying a word to eachother there was this incredible thick tension I couldnt even bear to accidentally make eye contact with him! IP: Logged |
