Topic: What house system do you use and why?

I use Placidus. I looked at many different house systems, but whenever I would investigate transits to my chart, it kept ending up being the Placidus chart that showed the transit hitting the house which represented the area of life which had actually seen the effects. Things like my dog dying when Pluto hit my 6th in Placidus, or having a baby when my Placidus 5th was being transited, things like that. Transits would hit my Placidus house cusps and show an event that happened in actuality, whereas, in other house systems, the transits were hitting a house that didn't come into play like the Placidus house did. So, Placidus is the house system that I've come to trust as the most reliable for me personally. Your mileage may vary.  IP: Logged |

Whole house system is by far the most accurate for me. I've tried placidus for years and whole house always reveals truth about myself, life and situationsIP: Logged |

Nobody cares about the Koch system but is the only who makes sense to me when it comes to my chart.IS like 95% accurate.Is weird. IP: Logged |

No much!Only one difference.BUT really important. WHEN people ask me I say my sun is in 7th house cuz almost all the systems tells me that.BUT the description from 8th sun is like reading my diary.Koch is the only system that i have sun in 8th and my venus doesnt change the house.(venus in 9H) The only reason why Koch is not 100% accurate to me is because i have taurus traits and i dont know where this energy is coming from. Hmm.. House placement of the sun is very important. Good that you found one that fits. Conversely, in the Placidus system, are there any indications of Taurus energy? 2nd house placements or aspects to the ruler or some such..? IP: Logged |

In both (placidus/koch)i have mars in the 2th house but i dont think that is enough. I should do a retification.(although i have the correct birth time)With "taurus ASC" i understand why i feel so confortable around taurus sun people but then things will change too much in my chart.Crazy!!
