Gemini rising: I like flirting, socializing.
Aries Sun: When I really like someone and feel reciprocated I am very enthusiastic.
Scorpio Moon/Pluto/Lilith/Juno and 8th house Neptune Uranus: The whole trusting another person THING! Emotional validation. Physicals needs being met. Being super attracted to them can have me really putting up with some stuff. I have to look out for that. I like letting people in on my terms. I don't like my space privacy invaded, being forced to open up not on my terms. I don't like prying, being put on the spot.
Taurus Mercury and Jupiter house 2: I only like to be told what to do in the bedroom.
Pisces Venus Mercury 12th house ruling planet: Gives me a shy side. Like someone else said, I don't like to force things. I always have to have a crush on somebody. It doesn't take a lot for me to be entertained. I do like when we can be in the same space doing our own thing. I like cuddles. Spiritual connection rocks.
Aquarius Mars/NN, MC 11th house sun: I like to let the person be who they are. I THINK I am not one to try and change people. Someone that likes to try new things. Has to be somewhat unconventional in some way. I also TRY not to lose myself and maintain relationships with friends and family, no matter how obsessed I am with my partner. I don't like to ditch cancel plans with my friends over a guy...no matter what they are doing to my hormones. But I will also run from my friends if they demand more attention than my partner/family.
Leo IC/SN: I also have mood swings where I want attention. It's nice to just have fun and be silly sometimes. A guy being funny can be a weakness.
Cancer Jupiter: Oh gosh...I do be trying to get guys to wife me. I'll start cleaning, bringing them food. I will nurture.
Capricorn Uranus/Neptune/Saturn 10th house Mars Venus: Money can be my love language too. I have taken men on expensive dates, gifts. An SO will be one of my top spending priorities for bdays and holidays. If I do this, I expect a certain level of respect and appreciation. If the man does not seem grateful...I will spiral.

Although still true to their sign, Cancers seem to be geared more towards freedom-loving relationships and the more freedom-loving signs like Aquarius/ Gemini seem to be geared more towards closeness and intimacy.. or at least it appears that way.

I have yet to meet a Cancer who isn't a serial dater...

and I can't think of an Aquarius who isn't in a committed relationship or at least a long-term "union".

It's weird.

I know this is very general.. but still might hold some validity.

Maybe it has a lot to do with the times? 1920s dating is much different than 2023 dating. Air signs might be more equipped to handle it?

We're all just out here trying to survive and a major part of that survival is human interaction and relationships.

Cancers survive best by protection themselves.. and not so much their partner.. contrary to popular belief. I can see this being an issue in today's dating world, ironically. We still need a certain level of selflessness to truly connect.. and I think a lot of Cancers don't have it in 'em to give at the moment. This "new" world isn't Water sign-friendly like it was back when our grandparents were dating.

I feel so called out right now! 🤣🤣🤣 (Sag moon & rising). I have some major Sag placements (Moon - also almost exactly conjunct my natal Neptune in Sag - and Ascendant, and North Node, all in the 12th House) that constantly feel at odds with an almost exact (only 30 minutes apart) conjunction of Jupiter and Juno in Pisces at the moment of my birth. It’s like I want devoted, deep, and spiritual divine partnership . . . but I don’t. Gaaaahhhhh lol

I have no time.

In the evenings and weekends after work I keep upgrading/studying for IT and Software Development industry certifications.

Some people still mistaken me as being in my 20's. So I can do without the stress of being in a relationship, stress makes you old.

That plus a relationship takes 2 people, it takes one person to drive a second person into the ground!!!....so I don't need that.

I think that's the final outcome when it doesn't work out. I sorta got that vibe with Ramesh "sunny" Balwani and Elizabeth Holmes relationship. The founders of Thermos. They brought out the worst of each other.

I think Balwani was playing mental games the entire time and Holmes being detached.

Though what brings the two signs together is the assumption that at the moment Aquarians + Geminis is the only other sign that understands them.

When they met on a school trip they were both out of place, Balwani being the oldest student and Holmes being harassed by the other students.

I myself have had some strange experiences with Aquarians, it's either they reach out to me for help or they end up helping me.

Back to topic, in the cases I've known, they are often very attached in the right dynamic. So to say detached is true until something brings a missing piece between them with another. Usually it's someone who appreciate their *weirdness*, as many say they are. Those whom tolerate the way they get super focused on subjects unrelated to their partner/love interest.
