im so painfully shy....ugh saturn always has to make everything dull man. I began my film career this year. I can feel Saturn's influence SO much.

Is there anyway around this??? my own shyness will be the death of me I truly HATE saturn... (sorry for all of you saturine lads out there) My Saturn is conjunct my Sun in 4th. I feel so restricted man I really don't like this planet. I've gotten everything BUT karmic lessons. the older I get...and I thought it was supposed to be the other way around but man I really REALLY am starting to hate saturn!!

How do you view your Saturn?

Saturn is the hardest lesson we have to overcome. Yes it's extremely painful but Saturn isn't easy. For me I just connect to my divinity which isn't restricted by Saturn, only my human self is. That way it cannot have power any more.

Nice tactic! I am very spiritual myself.
This is my Saturn aspects

Saturn in 4th in Pisces:
Sun Conjunct Saturn
Jupiter Square Saturn
Saturn trine ASC
Saturn semi-square Uranus
Saturn inconjunct MC

Would you view this as a Good Placement Saturn or a Bad?

I have struggled with depression all my life and I know it's this pricks fault. Oh my god, I'm cursing out a planet. What is happening to me?

Sun conjunct Saturn is tough. But you can overcome it. All things are overcome with Love.

For example take a young woman who was abused by her father since her youth.. the father still didn't apologize or acknowledge he hurt her. The young woman in her adult hood decides that she loves him as a father still and understands his own pain and why he did it. She tells him she loves him as a father and means it and prays for his own healing. She just transmuted the karmic debt in herself and his through love.

So you have to send love to imperfections in all areas for them to be transmuted.

That's such a beautiful way to put it. I wish I could love my imperfections. This ******* planet has given me so many gray hairs.

I already know Saturn is powerful in the 4th. Which deals with home, and then add some crappy aspects and make it conjunct to your Sun. I have been told countless times in my life I have missed opportunities.

When I tell you I've been depressed all my life I really mean it. I've never been satisfied with any of my work or craft which sucks because everyone else sees me as just a normal, happy guy. But it bothers me that I could be surrounded by so much love and reassurance and STILL be sad. If my Saturn wasn't in CONUJUNCTION with my Sun I feel my life would be COMPLETELY different. I'm looking up all these entertainers and most of them are free from his ruthless aspects. I just hate this placement, My chart seems so well placed besides Saturn. It's in one of the WORST spots POSSIBLE! It ALWAYS drives me MAD!

Yo dude you got this. Don't let the media to expectations get you down. Everyone struggles, but one day when you persevere a kid will be worried that he didn't have your placements and be saying similar things.....

Shyness isn't bad. For some reason shyness makes me fall head over heels. I dont know what you want to do in film but if you wanna be in front of the camera, just visualize that you are stepping into another zone and becoming another version of you.

Also pluto is responsible for karmic lessons too.

I view my saturn positively. Yes I am painfully shy but now that I look back on my adolesence (when I was the most shy) even if I made myself be more outgoing, I wouldnt have been happy. I am happier being myself, than forcing myself to be outgoing and having to go to situations that resulted of me being outgoing. For a period of time when I started college I did that and I got so burnt out so fast.

I have saturn in my 4th too. I have a lot of duty towards my family, so I sometimes wonder if I will ever be able to live my own life.

You "missed opportunities" because it wasnt the right time, or even the right opportunity! Everything happens for a reason ok?

Hmm.... could it be possible that all saturn is doing is making you be so hard on yourself?? Saturn makes people SO hard on themselves and the rest of the world doesnt see why... because there is nothing wrong with the person.

it's not a bad thing to never be satisfied with your craft because it pushes you to work harder, try harder and improve. People that are automatically pleased have a tendancy to just not put the effort in when truth is, even the masters always have room for improvement. Just focus this saturnian critical energy on self improvement rather than self hate.

I'm ok with it. I've been dealing with it since I was a child, there is little surprise. For me, Saturn's influence often manifest as restrictive circumstances. And set backs. And having to rebuild things from scratches. And people who want to undermine me and want me to bend to their rules. 1st house saturn conjunct asc ya see, lots of forces seem to seek to erode the foundation of my "self".

Having a somewhat stoic, pragmatic attitude towards it works for me. Sure I probably would have had it easier if saturn's influence wasn't so strong in my chart. Sure I feel that I could have done without its supposed "lessons". But those feelings don't change the fact that it's there, I just have to give my best.

When I was younger I was more angsty about having to deal with saturn. Lol I eventually see it as a game. Too easy and I'll get bored. A little struggle is sweet. The harder it gets, the more driven I become.

I prepare myself well. There is a sense of savage pride, knowing that Saturn influence isn't something I can't handle.

To me, the house and sign where Saturn is, is actually the place we are capable of achieving the most. Like.. The area of the chart that pulls things together.

The reason why we have challenges with the area it is positioned in, is because, sometimes we have to know what it's like to be challenged by that thing in order to one day understand it in ways we couldn't if it all came extremely easy.. And, if true mastery is gained over it through this, this helps to make it something much easier to teach and help others with.. Because, sometimes when something comes to someone without much effort, they have a hard time understanding how to help someone that it doesn't come as naturally to.

Saturn is the strongest possible point of discernment in the chart.. Making it important in refinement and defining boundaries and details in one's area of mastery.

Saturn may be hard as hell to deal with.. But, in the end, it is the planet that tells us "yes, this is the right path. Now, dedicate yourself to it mind, body, and soul. Show me you want it.. Then, and only then, you can have it."

It's a very serious planet, and it wants you to show that you are serious about the things you put your energy into.

Sometimes, when things come extremely easily, there isn't as much as a desire for improvement.

In a way, as cold as Saturn may seem.. I think it actually has a certain resonance with compassion. Because, it's been the person who's lost. It's been the one who was bound. The one that eventually learns to laugh at its chains. As restricting as it is, it can also be very liberating.

However, some of what I just said, I also believe has a certain resonance with Pluto, too. Then again, I feel Pluto and Saturn definitely have certain similarities, in their own way..

I don't think I've ever given Saturn any thought until recently as it's rolling thru my 4th house. My Saturn is in the 2nd and for the most part is unaspected (minus like 2 minor aspects to Mercury, Uranus, and a huge 8 degree separating conjunction to Pluto) I like the fact that it's not aspected by much, and in my second because it hit helps me in times where money is very limited. It has taught me to be able to make my money stretch and be able to live on the bare minimum. Of course the downside to Saturn being in my 2nd house is it really does a number on my self-esteem (pretty much non-existent for a looong time) But I am working on that.

Just be glad you don't have Saturn conjuncting your sun, mercury, and Pluto all in the 12th house..in Scorpio. God bless my boyfriend, I don't know how it does it really.

LOL

Yeah I second that.

Not sure if I even understand how my Saturn functions. It's in the 12H and the readings vary pretty drastically.

Wow... What a Wonderful young woman! { }

But I'm LIVID about the Evil done to his own daughter. HOW IN THE WORLD can HE think he didn't damage her psyche!! This is NOT the caveman era where we need to replenish the earth with only a few people available to make the babies with!! This is MODERN times. You don't DO your own daughter?!... He deserves a JAIL sentence... Make sure he's on Tyrone's Cell Block.

It's seperating but it's now in conjunction with my Mercury (Dominant Planet) and it's still in the 4th going towards the 3rd.

My Transit saturn JUST, JUST finished going through my Pluto in 1H. I had some pretty CRAPPY teenage years man and I'm determined to make up for it.

This young woman sounds Neptunian. I'm a sun-Saturn conjunction and I can't relate. ... I'm not dwelling on past hurt per se but I'm much more realistic

I've got a love-hate relationship with Saturn.

It rules my DC and NN, so I'm strongly attracted to it and feel incredibly drawn to Saturn energy. My Saturn is almost completely unaspected in my chart, though, so that makes it feel elusive in a way. It makes a semi-sextile to my Mercury and a trine to my Uranus, but no aspects to any other planets. Counting angles, though, it's trine IC/sextile MC, so that helps.

So, yeah, it's sort of a love-hate thing, but, ultimately, what I feel for Saturn is what I think we all end up feeling for Saturn one way or another - RESPECT. Saturn don't play.

i have a prediction that when saturn enters 2 degrees and 30 minutes into Capricorn (my IC) i will move out or have serious restriction in the home with my father. mercury/mars conjunct my IC natally.

right now saturn is in my 3rd house and i defently feel restricted when it comes to creative expression.

when saturn was in my 2nd house i defently felt financially unstable i wasnt earning enough i didnt have enough self worth on myself now that its out of my saturn i feel more then ever working and earning more money in fact im going to earn a lot more starting next year.

Yeah that's one AMAZING woman. But I know me and most people don't have those placements to accept some B.S like that. **** that dad, and **** saturn for making her go through that unnecessary torment. Lucky she handled it in a mature way. Truly, that is a VERY rare quality.

I used to be very scared of Saturn transits and worried about Saturn in my natal chart (square sun and mercury, in the 5th house, no soft aspects to any planets). I used to be pretty shy. I still am sometimes.

There was a post on this forum (http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum24/HTML/216032.html) about using the opposite sign Saturn is in to overcome the restriction of Saturn.

Saturn in my natal chart is in Sagittarius. The advise was to read and talk to people about what was read. Taking up a musical instrument was also advised. Basically taking on more Gemini type activities to balance Saturn. Working on this did help my outlook.

To me, Saturn represents the area of life that needs more attention and work at. Changing to have a positive view helps!

My Saturn return was fantastic!
