Gemini moon in 12th house here

I tend to be secretive although I don't do it on purpose I just find myself never speaking or expressing my feelings to others, sometimes I don't even understand my own feelings

I'm Gemini moon in 12th house. I don't have an issue expressing my feelings, except in romantic connections. Outide of this, I like to talk out and analyze my feelings. I don't like keeping them inside, especially if they're heavy feelings. Also, I sometimes feel like my feeling are separate of my being, if that makes sense, like I don't get bogged down mentally. I'm objective with myself if that make sense.

Woohoo shout out to my 12th House Gemini Moons! Something must be drawing us all here at once.

As for me, this is incredibly true. People think I don't get bothered by things. I have always been very detached. I handle emotions very logically. I hide any vulnerable emotions, it is virtually impossible to display them. I feel an enormous amount of pain but if it is expressed it comes out as anger.

I've been learning to become more vulnerable as not to fear them but love them as apart of myself but it is not easy.

I think alot has to do with how it is aspected. For me I have 0 easy aspects. I was born on a full moon so its opposite my sun as well as uranus & Saturn all being in sagittarius. It also forms squares with my midheaven in pisces, & my jupiter/Mars in pisces 9th. It is also closely conjunct my retro chiron also 12th Gemini, so there is an wound there I am unable to fully heal.

Bump this, husband have Moon in 12th. He is a very low key person, private person too, keep his feelings inside.

He calm and super patience though (I think this from other aspects and placements of his chart), but his Moon in 12th he not reveal his emotional state alot, so it helps with his patience I dunno.

I don't think they're necessarily secretive; they're repressed and confused - so they can't express what they're not aware of and/or don't understand. Their emotions frighten them, so they avoid them.

I've been very close to a couple of people with moon in the 12th, one being my former husband. From my observation it's not so much that they have trouble expressing their emotions as they are simply not conscious of most of them. Both of these people (male) had sexual trauma in their past. There is a ton of confusion and misunderstanding of the self and emotions, and a tendency to numb and dissociate through addiction (one was a severe alcoholic and the other turned to alcohol, weed, and prescription meds). There is high anxiety and a tendency to withdraw socially. A need to escape manifests in excessive TV/movies/video games. Cynicism and distrust of others. Yet immense compassion and generosity, even if the compassion isn't always at a high level of consciousness (ie more like childlike sympathy than real understanding; easily moved but still always turning the conversation back to themselves, albeit in an attempt to relate - an innocent, well-intended self-centredness that makes real intimacy difficult or impossible). They'll talk, but they're poor listeners. Pure hearts, generous souls, enormous creative powers, with a genuine desire to "be good", but with a low level of consciousness and heavy repression and/or confusion. The lack of intimacy with the self prevents true intimacy with others. What they are aware of, they can communicate. The question is how much/how long they will numb themselves.

I have a 12th house moon in Pisces and it's conjunct Saturn and my ascendant in the 12th as well. When I was younger I was much more secretive, but I've become more open as I matured. I can control myself when it comes to emotions, and I'll talk about them if enough questions are asked. But if it's someone I haven't known for a while I will be very distant, especially if i think they're suspicious. I have been told I'm hard to read. I dislike faking emotions, so I think it throws people off.

I think the biggest thing for me is that I like to psychoanalyze myself and others. I like to understand why people behave on certain ways, and why I am who I am. I'm also a bit of a loner, I work and go to school at home and love it. I also have Hella trust issues, and just tend to forget to show proper social signals to people when I'm interacting with them.

As a Gemini moon in 12th house, I have no problem expressing how I feel in general but I can give a mean poker face loool
Buttt I have some issues expressing loving emotions or even open up to a romantic partner due to being rejected or misunderstood. I'll just keep alot inside and write or daydream rather than express anything to him. I know at times, this may cause the partner to feel alone but it's a work in progress. My best match so far was a cancer man with Virgo moon in 1st house, who could read my emotions like a book and just understood me.

Not everyone Moon in 12th get to drugs and alcohol. Look at their Neptune sign and look at their aspects to their Neptune.

My husband has Moon in 12th and he NEVER drink a drop of alcohol in is life, let alone do any kind of drugs.
Why? Because his Saturn in his 5th house. Saturn in 5th house will control any impulse you have on want fun, period.

His Neptune in Capricorn, Capricorn (rule by Saturn) is anything but dreamy. Neptune FALL in Capricorn, it at it WEAKEST state in that sign. His Jupiter in Capricorn too, which is also another fall state, weakest.

With him it all about work, and hard work to make money, no party, but make money. That Capricorn Neptune and Saturn in 5th help him.

So really, don't look at Moon in 12th (then say they into drugs, etc..), look at their aspects and placement.

His Moon in 12th, he very private with outsider, but with his family he not. He has no problem confrontation his father, him and his dad have power struggle. NONE back down, like father like son I guess, lol.

I have a neptune and jupiter in Capricorn as well. I had a episode where I was smoking and doing drugs, but like you said Married, having Neptune and Jupiter there means work. Neptune being my chart ruler only means that focusing on my career and discipline is the path I should take. I found that once I started being responsible and focusing on working I enjoyed life more.

Sometimes I will drink a little alcohol but it's very rare. I grew up in a family who did drugs so it very much influenced the way I saw the world once, but now not so much. I even joined the military, and now I'm working in fraud analysis. I do like watching TV shows but I usually work while I do that. When I was younger though I had all sorts of issues.

My precious Nephew has Taurus moon and Gemini rising. I'm quite certain he has 12th house moon.

I love him so much he likes attention but also likes being left alone at times.
